Nice hunt! Silver and gold broach is awesome! Can't wait for heat to be over to get out more myself. Wishing y'all the best during these crazy times. Happy Hunting🌵😁🍀
Smashing the coins Alicia and Steve, great little 9k pin Steve Awesome find, looking forward to having a hunt this weekend my self, I'm dew for a sovereign lol, as are you guys, Thanks for sharing GL&HH Jim P.S. your 1888 is way better than the one i found last week. 👍
Yes Jim a sov would be sweet You, Neil, Paul, and us need one fore sure how mad would it be to dig one up. Good luck on your next hunt might be the one when the sov shows up lol Cheers Steve & Alicia.
That brooch is amazing! Lovely silvers and old coins, and I always love the old buttons! It was great to see you two, I know it must be awesome to be back out!😊💖
Very nice finds guys AWSOME stuff That blue button looks like a cuff link I found In Murrin Murrin township a surface find 1921 penny stoked Got 3 grams gold too Good to see you guys out and about yew Crouch
Hi Steve and Alicia, Looks like a miserable day, but stuff it we have not been out much That 1863 penny is great, I found two at my last hunt and Crouch found two at the same site trip b4. Love the button Have you ever seen a English Four pence? I found one last hunt. Dennis
Thanks 👍Dennis, yes that Four pence was a cool find not very common at all. One day one might turn up. We were out hunting yesterday and the X-terra found some more gold we were very happy. Cheers for stopping by mate.
Hey Dudes! cool finds again! That spot just keeps giving haha! People had crap pockets back in the day. Must be getting cold now down there judging by the dryza bone. Bit of a hot period up here getting to 32-34 again. Are you going to brave the creek anytime soon? How's everything corona wise now? Darwin pretty much just kept going, we had no community spreading and other than a few weeks in early April, everything just was normal. The shops and pubs are back open for a while now so the city is getting busier. Have a good long weekend and say g'day to the boys! cheers!
Hey Adam, yes some sweet finds. They must of had all there best gear on got drunk and then had money fights LOL. Yes cold now -3 sat morning every thing frozen we were going to go camping but to cold. Yes we will get in the creek soon need to get some more gold but got to stay dry doing it lol. The Rona did not hit hard around here all back to normal. Cheers for stopping by dude.
Some really nice finds guys , excellent , you would love to know the name of who that gold pin was engraved for , that for me would just complete the mystery hey , good to see you out and about again , cheers guys .
Thanks Ned, we would love to know the name too but after 100- 150? years it would be a long shot to get it right. there was a woman in the area by the name Janet Butt she was there in 1912 but we can not find out her middle name so its still a mystery. Cheers for watching mate.
Thanks for watching mate The cover set came from Russia through Ebay about 2 years ago you may be able to get them in oz but have not seen any one selling them. Cheers.
The 705 still is an awesome detector but not so good on the natural gold nuggs. We find the 3khz coil to be really good for old coins and jewelry. You can pick up a 705 second hand and save some coin and have a great time detecting for years.👍
Hi guys love watching your vids. So Im new to it all. And I just picked up a nice secondhand Exterra 705. It came with 3 coils. One of the coils is a near new 15" Double D 7.5 kHz. Question, whats the advantage in using the bigger coil? Is it a case of better detection ability? Or better depth ability? Or a combination of both? Cheers
Cheers Craig for stopping by, The big coils cover a heap of ground and the more ground the better chance of a good target. Big coils do usually go a bit deeper to. I (Steve) run no patterns and in all metal mode Good luck on your hunts mate the 705 is an awesome detector.
It was used for every thing from horse racing, Cricket match's, Wedding receptions, birthday parties, and a place to camp when people came in for Sunday church. The patch is 8 acre's we have put in 100's of hour's and it is still not done but we have found some cool old bling and about 200 old coins even a sov came out. One of my best finds was a 9ct gold ring with a date stamp of 1878. Cheers for watching mate. Steve.
@@GrotyGold . Obrigado.
@@noepaulolaurentino4569 Mate the X-terra is a great detector. I run it only when looking for coins and relics. I have mine set up with a 15" 3khz coil and run in all metal mode i dont use any discrimination hope this helps mate.
Hey guys,I need a big coil after watching you, my terra has a broken coil that came with it so do you favour the terra or nox? I still like my 705. Thanks for another cool video and also for previous replies.
The X-Terra is a fantastic detector the 3khz 15" coil is awesome but it is very heavy compared to the Nox. I (Steve) use the Nox more and more now especially in modern junk areas also the big coils for the X-Terra are expensive and would be probably be half the price of a Nox now. Good luck out there Roy.
@@GrotyGold Thanks for your opinions Steve as I never thought about weight and should give myself an upper cut thinking how many hours swinging a coil takes its toll. On the right track now
@@royallan3717 I have a nick name for the old girl it's the 2 ton terra we have taken people out and they seem to last about 20min and there arm is done lol. My longest swing with it was 11 hours with only a short lunch break. When i first used the big coil i set up the bungie cord from our SDC2300 to help swing it longer once my arm was up to speed i took the cord off. The Nox with the standard 15" is way better to swing i have tried the coiltek 14x9 i think it was and it was a lot heaver than the standard Minelab 15"
Awesome hunt and finds guys done very well thanks for shearing 👍👍👍👍👍
