I played it for over four years premium, the character creator is great, but they switched owners a bunch and I stopped playing after there was very little new story content and they wanted me to migrate my account a third time to a new client (though sometimes I wish I had so I could use that character creator again). You can definitely find fun in it, but if you want to venture into the RP stuff, keep in mind there are also loads of ERPers and Mary Sues. Lot of fun quests, but the main gameplay is kinda grindy.
ended up making a bat gargoyle who wears the american flag on the front of his shirt and would kill you if you didnt vote. unfortunately, the character was lost once i shut my laptop. trying again today,

I actually installed this game because of this video. They didn’t go as far as they could have. You can make a character who has metal balls for hands and feet, and whose head is JUST A FLOATING BRAIN.

I really like the MFs where they gain a genuine appreciation for the developers of the character creator. Like, there's no real reason to allow players to add a hat, a top accessory AND a side accessory, *two* additional head accessories, *two* sets of hair, glasses, and facial hair (oh and custom ears and eyebrows).
But the developers added all those things, and let them all co-exist! Why? Because those developers, they simply don't know can't.

His appearance makes sense if you make his origin be that he's like, this knife void, a formless hole in the fabric of space-time that is ever-spewing and ever-consuming knives. Once Knife Dad achieved enough sentience to not just swallow the world, he realized that he had to contain himself within some kind of body-shaped thing, and so he just grabbed literally everything he could get his hands on, including his skeleton hands. The five hundred different hats at once are because that's the epicenter, so he just kept on piling on wolf heads, metal wigs, bunny ears, etc because the more layers between the void that is Knife Dad and the rest of the world, the safer his children can be.
