    Nice and its the same color Tranquility 19P I purchased. Love Baja Designs light output and quality and they go on all my rigs.

    Great video! I noticed you have an awning. Is that the original Thule awning that the Sanctuary comes with? If so how are you able to keep that on while adding the crossbars? I have a 2023 Sanctuary and the awning runs right along the gutter where you need to install the tracks to put on crossbars

      Hi @erniemartin2712 Crossbars were installed by a rack shop for this client before we upfitted the van. Email jeremy @matrixintegrated.cc (remove that space) and he can send you the roof item list.

      @erniemartin2712 Vantech roof track. Thor doesn't seem to be the smartest van builders...crap service too. :(

    Is there something to put on the ladder so random people in a parking lot won’t climb up to look around?

    • @matrixintegrated2737
      @matrixintegrated2737  ปีที่แล้ว

      @ThatGirlLib great question! We haven't seen any security devices that would fit onto the ladder that would cover over a few of the steps so that no one can get up to the roof(like buildings have). Perhaps not enough random lookieloo's get up onto ladders to develop a product like this?

      Did you get or are you looking at a different brand? There is quite a jump in price between thor and say winnebago. I've been looking at vans also but have not made the leap yet.

      Our client pointed out some quality concerns when he first got his. Thor could make many easy improvements.

      The cabinets ARE dirt cheap made with self tapping screws that were cammed out or stripped in the particle board here and there in mine. Was easy for me to fix this little stuff though. The swing out table is made with heavy steel tubing rather than light weight alum, wtf get serious Thor. The thing is they come chock full of decent components from sub-vendor brands, so far everything has been easy to put right and I will continue to upgrade, fix or replace whatever I don't like. The kitchen roof fan is a cheap joke, must have cost Warren Buffet about 79 cents, what a weak plastic POS that rattles and wind sucks the cover up at highway speed making irritating noise. It's workable, useful and easily tweakable in summary. Mercedes dealerships are FAR .. far below Ford's service dept's. If Ford made the Transit drive like the Mercedes with 4wd I'd never put up with a Mercedes for two seconds. But Sprinters drive great, just a shame we need their pathetic dealers. I don't think the Tranquility so expensive but build quality is so so, I fully admit.

      @@jeanjeudi1111 We dealt with Thor (lack of) quality yesterday when replacing the propane switch in driver rear that failed already (cheap switch when you take it apart). Thor used self-tapping screws right into the body, so the first time you remove them, you're likely to have no grip back into the body sheetmetal after that.
