Trip Only - Tecumseh Trail Backpacking - October 2021

I recently published a video of my October 2021 Tecumseh Trail hike that included several 'flashback' videos to trips I have taken with my dog, Jaden, over the years. This video is just the hike portion of that video, for people interested in a shorter video of the hike alone, without 'tribute to Jaden'.

My first backpacking video was there. I recall we did enjoy that section as well. Puppers were happy to be out! My Finn is 9 and has made all but two trips into Deam. I can tell he's slowing down but he loves being on trail or just camping. I have a 3yr old Aussie too with very different character. Hard to manage both on trail at the same time though. Good vid Dave!

That was quite a nice looking trail & shelter. I want to hike the Tecumseh Trail! I am definitely ditching the Mountain House meals after seeing that filet!

Yeah, I'm getting really hung up on 'real food' now - hard to go back to the Mountain House, especially for shorter trips. I have to thank the Schill Bros and you Ohio guys for ruining me on that! I remember showing up for a RRG hike with the Ohio gang and everyone had awesome 'real' food except for me - thankfully All Things Outdoors (Jeremy) brought chili dogs on that trip that he shared with everyone. Crazy heavy, but what a treat for the first night in the woods.
