Can this be used for a 2.5 bath townhome with 3/4" white PVC ~IF~ I find the right adapter to accommodate the 1" in/out ports? Is there a filter with some descaling property, like citrus or soliphos incorporated? Which model is the one that works with 4.5x10 filters instead of 2.5?

Thank you for watching its greatly appreciated, i am still working on this system tied up at the moment, so i still need to install my water softener which would help with scaling, the Spindown Sediment Filter WSP50ARB rocks for the large size pieces of Sediment debris the auto purge works flawlessly. And sizing of diameter I'd consider checking with the manufacturers rated flow rate and maximum sized fittings. And yes this culligan Wholehouse Water Filter WH-HD200-C works great with a 2.5 bath home. Hope this helps with your upgrades, be healthy stay safe take care 🙂

I had a Culligan whole house filter, the Culligan sprung a leak under the bypass valve at the 3 year mark, the leak was a close call could've caused thousands of dollars in water damage, I would inspect filter system every 2 weeks especially after a year. Many have said the same as I, their Culligan sprung a leak after 1 or 2 years. I read competitors reviews, the other choices have leaking issues as well, looks like these lower cost filter systems cannot handle the high pressure, heat and the Cold in the garages and attics.
Inspect regularly, also place a bucket or another method to drain if leaking to protect garage or attic from the leaking filter system.
    or regret.
