the seller might just sell reps, ifthey are selling at a heavily reduced price, i've seen alot of seller known for their high quality reps
They’re not new shoes nor were they listed as being reps unfortunately. Otherwise I wouldn’t have bought them to begin with
Bah! Sorry to hear this man. I hate dishonesty and scams. Someone would have probably still got them if they said they were reps! You may wanna customise or do something crazy for fun if you can bear the tightness / fit of them!
Yeah, exactly ! People are in the market for these anyway. I would’ve considered just keeping them for whatever but the soles are just so awfully uncomfortable and feel wrong and heavy. I think without the actual ones I have I’d probably be okay with these but yeah. I dunno!
@@Jacargon if you really want to keep them putting a soft insole might help with the bad soles but that also would make them tighter and idk if it's worth it considering you could probably sell them on
Yeah they’re already basically too tight it wouldn’t be worth it. Hopefully someone is interested. I can’t sell them on grailed / depop due to their policies against reps so my options are pretty limited for marketplaces

This is every persons fear getting a fake pair of shoes. Well some people don’t care but I personally like real shoes not a knockoff cause I hate when people say “dude are those fake” and start to tease
It’s definitely a fear when you’ve expected to get a real pair.
If someone chooses to buy fakes tho I don’t really mind. How often are people going to be able to tell, and calling someone out for it to tease them is a bit of a jerk move

I’d say if you appreciate the art / story / culture behind a piece of clothing / shoes then you’d definitely want to opt in for the legit pair. Getting a fake doesn’t really give it respect imo

yo so it happend the same , found a really good deal on some rick lows , then i tried to wear em and they are just uncomfy and the form is off ,currently im stuck with them and im simply so stressed . just seen ur video and it just made me feel just a little bit better . im really stressed because it happend before and its a hard process:(
yeah unfortunately the market is even more rampant now with dupes and fakes it’s unfortunate that people can’t just be open about what they are. Hopefully you can find a decent pair in future mate

I bought drkshdw ramones for around 290, def reps 🤦🏽♂️ I can just tell by the box… didn’t have the sticker u did but the cut of the flaps didn’t fit the box itself- in all honestly I’d try my hardest to try them on irl and I know not everyone has that luxury, I just had a store get a bunch of Rick and drkshdw in so I’m just going to drop the whole bag on the shoes next time bc I feel so stupid having bought reps for a semi good price
Yeah it’s really all about getting them off a retailer you can do returns with in case of any issues. It’s so disheartening realising they’re reps when you didn’t want them to be.
I feel you mate, good luck copping a pair in future, hopefully you can sell these ones on honestly to someone who is actually seeking reps.

that one on rep market goes for lower than $50. I don't think you can sell these honestly it really bad reps too the best best rep for ramones cost around $80 without shipping

@@Jacargon You can get in r/DesignerReps/ to know more, the $80 one from the trustedseller probably the top of the line rep for ramones probably close to 1:1, your from toebox to stitches are really really bad like $15 shoes from aliexpress
Yo I just copped some Ramones drkshdw but the tongue is different it looks like 2 antennas like 3 squares and lines and not a silhouette of Rick Owens himself. Are they fake or nah ??
Some have that different design on the tongue for sure. Best bet tho is to take a bunch of photos of different angles of the shoes including the inner part of the zipper with the size and code then post them on the legit check thread on the Rick Owens subreddit. Best way to make sure

Grailed does do a little bit of authentication, and if they indeed are fake you can launch a PayPal dispute and get your money back. Let us know how it goes !

I'm so sorry . I know my concern won't get your money back but that sucks. I myself don't mind fakes ( I don't always buy fakes most of my stuff is off brand ) but I get not getting what you expect is fustrating and I hope you find something amazing spoons to make up for it
It’s all good ! Most of the stuff I’ve gotten has been great deals so in a way this balances it all out I guess. Fingers crossed I can sell them on. Not really any interest of note so far though.
I'm pretty sure you might get the money back from Visa if you played with your cc. I got back money when I bought something that turned out to be fake. If you paid with paypal its even easier to get the money back.
I’ll look into it ! I was using a shopping proxy so it’d have to be through them to figure it out, I’m not hopeful but I may as well ask.
Looks like it’s a no-go since it the third party service bought it off a second hand marketplace site. The proxy doesn’t allow you to do refunds through marketplaces, they do however process them if it was from an actual official online store.

I ended up selling them to someone, with full disclosure that they were reps. Didn’t get my money back but at least the new owner was really happy with them.
