@@mnguyen313idk, but I think he was accurate. Which is to say, he was trying to say something different but his brain temporarily hemorrhaged and made him forget
For real, Jake and Jack each have a sharp tongue for turning phrases. They bounce off each other really well, and Zo comes up with really interesting questions
Randy Johnson “only” ranks 38th all time in Innings pitched. For some perspective, Maddux has a little more than 5K innings pitched and ranks 13th. Not surprisingly, Cy Young is the all time leader with over 7,300 a full 1300 innings above 2nd place Pud Galvin (who may have been the first player ever to use PED’s for using Brown-Sequard Elixir, otherwise know as monkey testosterone in 1889)
That was a funny one to me. Randy Johnson is famously second in MLB history in strikeouts, and we know he's one of a few high on the list who averaged better than one per inning. So it seems like everyone would have guessed somewhere in the 4,000s, most of which would have gone over. For me, guessing the innings total of Cy Young or Tom Seaver or someone like that would have been much harder. Even now as I type this, I have no idea what Young's total is, and would not likely get within 500 of the actual number.
Randy does rank 20th in IP in the Live Ball era, so half the guys in front of him were just old timey hurlers who threw 50 CG per year in a feat no more impressive than a slow pitch softball pitcher
There is actually 108 stitches on a baseball one cross section is a “double stitch” and this was a big deal because the Cubs won their first World Series in 108 years. There were articles about this at the time
Learned the 108 number from Bull Durham: “there are 108 stitches on a baseball ⚾️ and 108 beads on a rosary 📿. After I learned that I gave Jesus a chance!”
for thos who don't know the innings pitched, Cy Young is first all time with 7,356 while second place is over 1,300 innings less. The most in the modern era is Phil Niekro with 5,404, (4th all time) barely beating Nolan Ryan by just 18 innings. The active leader is Zack Greinke with 3,379.1. (86th all time) It really says a lot about starters even 30-40 years ago.
I was like "a lot of this channel's content feels inspired by Hivemind" and then I notice the Hivemind shirt on Jack. It all makes sense. Impeccable taste.
This was a fun watch. I nailed the stitches question, although I fluttered between 206 and 216, I had the Mariners pegged at $2b, and nailed Josh Hamilton's Age, and estimated Johnson around 4k innings ...felt kinda like a baseball savant, even though most of them were just educated guesses
Yes. I enjoyed this. I liked Zo’s hint though. It’s a good hint if you knew the average team worth and maybe leaned into false-misdirection or something.
I'm sorry, we definitely count each V-shape as a stitch, which means a baseball has 108 stitches, which is the same amount of years it took the Cubs to win the World Series.
I don't hate the guess on MadBum's shoe size. Sure, it was very unlikely to be correct, but it had the best shot of winning the point. The question was not likely to be in there unless Bumgarner's shoe was either surprisingly small or surprisingly large. Going high is dangerous because of the minus-1 penalty. So it's not a bad idea to go way too low and give yourself the chance of being surprisingly correct (plus, there was a chance Jake might go over while trying to hit the number). It's the equivalent of saying $1 on the Price is Right TV show. No one watches that and thinks "wow, what an idiot, he thinks a convection oven costs a buck." No, saying $1 is pretty much saying "I have no idea what the price is, so I'm gambling that the others went too high."
The A’s concessions are the most expensive because their ownership decided to make them the most expensive. That’s pretty much the only explanation you need 🤐
This format is fun, especially with the possibility of losing points. I should feel ashamed. I've studied Randy Johnson's career for years but I was 30.1 innings off. At least I didn't go over.
The Oakland hot dog is a good dog. But in April it was only 6.25. (I bought 4 over the course of 3 days) Having had hot dogs at 7 stadiums now Oakland is prob number 1 in taste.
I think what happened was that Madison Bumgarner once dated a girl whose name was also Madison Bumgarner (or so the legend goes), so maybe Jack was thinking of the female Madison Bumgarners shoe size
The average ticket price would be inaccurate if he just did each stadium individually and then did an average of the 30. That would only work if each ballpark had the same amount of seats. Gotta do a weighted average
lol I love that Jack did 200 HRs x 30 teams and still put 10,000 💀💀💀💀💀
That’s what I was thinking
Hmm my math says 6000… better add 4000 on top just to be safe 😂
Bro. Jack. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If he had done math for the Randy Johnson question he’d probably have guessed 65,000 innings
Literally was about to comment this extracts same thing
“I have a hemorrhage” he said with complete confidence
What was he trying to say 😭
@@mnguyen313idk, but I think he was accurate. Which is to say, he was trying to say something different but his brain temporarily hemorrhaged and made him forget
The game show styles videos are extremely entertaining
"I don't think Madison Bumgarner would like me."
Both: "NO"
Oh Zo 😂😂😂 This had me dying
I don't get it :(
@@andys189 Bumgarner is analog and Zo is digital.
You could say that for like 99% of the population.
Jake's one cent rule is so perfect and correct.
A 6'5" guy like MadBum with a size 9 shoe feels anatomically impossible lol.
what would be like the minimum shoe size for like a 6'5 guy then? 10 1/2? 11?
minimum is like 12
k@@Flock2x
Paul George with a size 12 is about the craziest I've heard for tall guys with comparatively small feet
“I was counting in my head and couldn’t get past 6” 😂😂
Easily my favourite trio in a JM video
By far. I love the rest so much but these 3 are nuts. Put jolly in there too and it’s goated.
For real, Jake and Jack each have a sharp tongue for turning phrases. They bounce off each other really well, and Zo comes up with really interesting questions
Throw Jolly in there and this is the dream team

Since 1988 he's fourth
Yeah sometimes I think that Jomboy are casuals
Jack repping the Hivemind merch makes perfect sense
not me watching this video immediately after watching a hivemind video lol
@Hivemind collab with this man
He’s the Jomboy version of Riley so it makes sense
Greatest crossover of all time

This was a fun one but I love all the trivia episodes with this gang
That was a lot of fun! We got iced near the end of the video with the wackiness 😂 loved it!
The tax and tea dump joke was awesome.
This is the best youtube channel. Please do more of this and also more of the family feud.
Jake and Jack are my favorite duo
A baseball has 108 stitches. I know that because that's how long it took the cubs to win another world series, and that was a weird fact I learned!
Seems like they count both sides of the seam as the stitch (108*2=216)
Learned the 108 number from Bull Durham: “there are 108 stitches on a baseball ⚾️ and 108 beads on a rosary 📿. After I learned that I gave Jesus a chance!”
Jack’s math was spot on. 200 x 30 for the MLB teams and 333 x 12 for the NPB.
for thos who don't know the innings pitched, Cy Young is first all time with 7,356 while second place is over 1,300 innings less. It's wild that $7.79 sounds really cheap for a ballpark hot dog to me
15.99 for a beer is how they pay Mookie an Freddie's contracts 🤣🤣🤣
Love the game show series with this and Family Feud. Keep em coming!
I was like "a lot of this channel's content feels inspired by Hivemind" and then I notice the Hivemind shirt on Jack. It all makes sense. Impeccable taste.
For the length of these videos and incredible level of entertainment these game show videos deserve more views!

“What are you guessing?”
“Over 100.” “I’m trying to count them in my head but I can’t get past 6.”
“Old old-time, they threw a complete game every inning!” That had me dying
Very cool episode. Please do more the three of you together produce great content.
A beer at dodgers stadium which lasts maybe 30 minutes costs more than an MLB baseball that could potentially last a lifetime. Makes sense.
playing at home, and I am legit crushing these, and I have no idea how.
Jack’s tea joke and Zoe’s reaction got me.
Teacher here... proud of Jake for using the calculator to check his work 😂
I am loving these videos guys. Keep them coming!!!!!
Love this and the family feud game. Keep it up
I would have guessed hotdogs were free at the Oakland Collusium.
these videos make my sunday so much better

I love these two paired up
I love these game shows!

I liked Zo’s hint though. It’s a good hint if you knew the average team worth and maybe leaned into false-misdirection or something.

Can't believe "original name of the Boston Tea Party" commentary has made it into multiple pieces of JM content.
I guessed 15 on Baumgarner's shoe size...give me two points!
The Price is Right, famously, I feel, rounds prices to the nearest whole dollar.
But, yeah, make another one; I eat this shit up.
Dead serious, I’m shocked they didn’t differentiate Madbum’s foot size in either M’s or W’s 👠👠
Okay Jack with the @hivemind shirt!!!
I don't hate the guess on MadBum's shoe size. Sure, it was very unlikely to be correct, but it had the best shot of winning the point.

Get owned Jake. haha Nice one guys.
The Amazing Jeckel Brothers
Strictly because of how Jake was broken after the $15.99 question, I want to see more to see who else gets broken. XD
Jacks hivemind shirt made me excited because hivemind is awesome
Classic FOGO from the boys.
I'd watch more of these
I love this content so much
Jack wearing hivemind merch makes so much sense to me
9 on Madison bumgarners shoe size
Jack says “I don’t think I played conservative” after guessing mad bums shoe size at 9 😂
Jack in the hivemind tee doing dignan proud !!!
Jake - "I don't think theres any correlation between FOOT RIDING, and HORSES. Who the hell is riding a foot!?
That was fun
First, just started watching, should be another Zo banger regardless
🙄
17:20 I HAVE A HEMMORAGE
I like the family feud ones better, this one has to many numbers😂
These are really fun
I’m here to say that with tax beer at Dodger stadium is $17.75
More of this fellas.
Cy Young is #1 and he threw over 7,300 innings. Insane.
I just looked that up too :)
There is absolutely nothing wrong with crossing your 7’s!! Screw yall 😂
Us, 9 shoe size guys kinda hurting.
The A’s concessions are the most expensive because their ownership decided to make them the most expensive. That’s pretty much the only explanation you need 🤐

I should feel ashamed. I've studied Randy Johnson's career for years but I was 30.1 innings off. At least I didn't go over.
I also get ‘hemorrhage’ and ‘addition’ mixed up. It’s been a tough life
Madison Bumgarner at 6'4 240 with size 9 feet is classic Jack Doyle
Not even joking when the question came up of the average mlb ticket price I though 32 immediately. That is crazy what!!
You cannot make this up. I though 3.7 for the last one too tf how😂
Zo’s hint about the mariners is more like a fun fact haha
Jake was .67% off in his guess. Basically as zo said, not perfect but close 99.37%
Fun stuff.
The Oakland hot dog is a good dog.
But in April it was only 6.25.
(I bought 4 over the course of 3 days)
Having had hot dogs at 7 stadiums now Oakland is prob number 1 in taste.
“There is no correlation to foot riding and horses.” -Jake
Randy Johnson is 38th of all time innings pitched
Zo sound like Mandark from Dexter
So on the hot dog question I said 8.25 just joking around and I was within 50 cents...crazy for a hot dog to cost that much 😂😂
I currently wear I size 9 shoe
I think what happened was that Madison Bumgarner once dated a girl whose name was also Madison Bumgarner (or so the legend goes), so maybe Jack was thinking of the female Madison Bumgarners shoe size
Not a fan of the -1 for over. It's more fun to go for it as accurately as possible without the fear of going over! Love this game though!
How'd yall come up $15 dollars for an MLB ball? I thought they were like $25 a piece.
Nobody sells an official MLB baseball for $15. Maybe if buying bulk.
I hope that Jack recovers from his hemorrhage.
Me with a shoe size of 9 trying not to jump out of a window...
Does anyone know what the logo on Jack's hat is?
Rand Johnson is 38th on all time innings
Did no one catch where jake said “foot riding” instead of horse riding
Where can I buy baseballs for $15? All the baseballs I see are more like $30
I HAVE A HEMORRHAGE
Zo, has anyone told you that you sound like Madark, from Dexter's Laboratory?
Jolly didn’t mean anything by it, but, “the people of Oakland” do not set the hot dog price at the Coliseum.
SELL THE TEAM
114 dollars the average price of an MLB ticket? What are we basing this off of resellers marking up playoff games?
The average ticket price would be inaccurate if he just did each stadium individually and then did an average of the 30. That would only work if each ballpark had the same amount of seats. Gotta do a weighted average
my guess on the baseball stitch count was 219 :O dang
The A's gotta make $$ somehow
