Wesley would have a field day hearing Jerge said his shot into the bunker on the par 3 was “not bad” 😂 “40 feet, not bad” lol love ya Jerge. Never change
As someone who caddied here for 7 years, I appreciate you talking about your tiredness. People just don't understand the tired factor when it comes to playing the OC. We have so many groups coming in wanting to play 36 holes and cancel the second round after playing the first. It is just a mentally overwhelming course! Thanks for giving the course justice, many bloggers do not accomplish this at all!
Just played there last week. I’m an 11 handicap and shot 86 so I’m super happy with that. I was 2 under from holes 5-10 and then tripled 13 as well. That course kicks your butt if you don’t drive it well.
I played this course in July for my 21st birthday. I'm not a good golfer by any means, usually shoot mid 80s. I think I hit every single fairway that day, but maybe 1 GIR. This course is brutal, yet maybe the most beautiful course in the country.
I played the ocean course about 20 years ago. I was a 4 handicap, hit the ball great and shot a 92. That course is a good place to play if you want to give up golf.
Been driving back and forth to Kiawah from Toronto, Ontario every year, for the past 12 years. I always hated how when I wasn't there, I couldn't get those Ocean Course vibes that I always craved. These past 2 vids give me those vibes, so thank you George!!!
It’s amazing how much pressure you put on yourself when hitting a shot in front of those people. Why does golf do this? It doesn’t have to. If one’s focus is solely on what you want to achieve, then nothing else matters. Nobody thinks you are a chop just because a difficult course eats you up a bit on a couple of holes. It happens every week on the finest tour in the world. Thanks, fun video.
Ayyye we’re back.. all things considered still a good round! Favorite quote : “coming back from covid you know where you DONT want to start... the back tees at the ocean course” lol
You and I made Par on 14 the exact same way. Even landed the tee shot in roughly the same exact spot. That brought back memories of playing less than 1 month after the 2012 PGA Championship had been completed. Fastest greens i have ever had to putt on. A round i will never forget and im sure you wont forget yours either. The wind made the challenge 5 times harder. Good stuff Gerge and im glad you got to experience it!
Been fortunate enough to play The Ocean Course a handful of times. Unless someone has had the chance to play there, it's hard to even explain how hard No. 13 and No. 17 are. Two absolute beasts!
As much as I like seeing content with you playing lights out it’s refreshing to see your rounds where you don’t play your best. Reminder to us amateurs that everyone has a bad day in this sport.
Big effort on your part!!! Love the great attitude...easier when you play well, or acting awesome around your wife. Always a fan of your content, this side of your is the best to watch. Bigger fan now than ever!!!!
Way to hang in there and carry yourself with class. Mills must have rubbed some style off on you!! That is one tough course and you finished with aplomb! Blessings to you and Mills from Richard in Cosby, east Tennessee.
The Ocean Course is a shining example of punitive golf. Small errors become really big scores fast. Courses like that are rewarding like 5% of the time, when your game is on, and the other 95% of the time make you want to quit the game.
It's amazing to me how you can go from a triple to making a tough up and down on the next hole. Would love a video on your mental strategy and stay positive and hit good shots through the woes.
I once sunk a 30 footer for par on 18 while the entire boys high school team was sitting next to the green watching our group finish. I want no part of that ever again! Great chip in the clutch !
Jerge, concur that 77 is definitely respectable, was really pulling for you to get to even or hang close to even after the solid front 9. But you can definitely tell the back 9 is no joke, brutal into the wind and a gnarly bear downwind. Enjoyed watching you and Mils work your way around the course.
Much squarer clubhead to hand path takeaway on 10 than on much of the first nine. Nice swing! Drive on 13, back to steep takeaway, picked up clubhead and not enough early turn to get club back faster. Very square clubhead to hand path on no. 15 drive. Really nice swing. Two really nice swings on 16. Great driver swing on 18; sometimes you get a bit tilty on your turn (whole left side in at once) which puts the club more behind you as you did on the 5 iron on 18 and was why you hooked it. Great chip and par on the last; your chipping technique was great for putting some zip on the shot. Nice video. Thanks.
Nice up and down on the 18th George. I remember this course from the 91 Ryder Cup. Calcavecchia shanking his tee shot into the water on 17. Langer and Hale Irwin going down 18 to decide the cup and langer missing a 4 footer, still hurts now 😆. Great video as always 👍
I'd say one of your best videos. All conditions aside, I thought you played really well too. Also, Mills reaction to you conceding that last putt had me dyin. Great stuff again! Everybody: Let's get this MAN to a HUNDRED GRAND!
You caught the ocean course on a light breeze day. Normaly it's like 15 to 20 mph winds. Live that course. I live around an hour from there. Great place with very nice golf courses every where. My favorite is ocean course but Turtle Point is also fun and challenging.
Just watching you play that course wore me out mentally, but I tried to play along with you.... Sorry I ran out of ball's mentally about hole 13... but I did watch the entire video. Now I think I'll lay down on the couch. Wait a minute I'm already on the couch?...oh well keep swinging them sticks George and more Mills! Even just to ride along with you. Good luck with you guys becoming parents soon...it definitely will let you understand a hard day on the course really doesn't matter in the big scheme of things...🤷🏌👨👩👦⛳🍼👼
That was great George. Enjoyed that round of applause at the end. Tough course that. Over here in UK courses been shut for over 2 months. Cant wait to get back out there mid April.
1st time seeing your stuff. Loved it. I could not believe that lip out. If that goes down and you take out that unlucky triple you're holding up that PGA trophy!
Another great video George. That view of 16's tee shot was dope, but I'm sure all holes had amazing views. Kiawah looks amazing! Oh, and you can't forget about that heel click on 14, haha.
Only about a month left until the weather in Ohio gets good enough consistently for golf! Your videos help me stay sane waiting 😂 can’t wait to also bust out my new sticks 🙌🏼
Love this vid George. Excellent golf and great to see your lovely assistant bringing some class to the commentary. 😂 Keep it up, best wishes from Germany!
Decent round George short game on point good putting overall would like to see you play it again now that you know what to expect Peace, Tranquility and Balance
GG man. Looking forward to the next one. Hopefully we'll see you play this place again down the line. Would be interesting to see you play it with the knowledge you picked up from this round
Jerge, a 77 had to feel like a 67 considering the circumstances and how your swing must have felt that day. Plus the real trophy was in the cart with you all day. It's always a blast when my better half is with me in the cart.
Honestly if you haven’t been able to play in a couple of weeks, playing that track the way you did shows your game is pretty much on target. I walked with Tiger’s practice round group on Monday in 2012 and even it humbled him so you’re doing great.
I said 75 but the water ball hurt. I love this course though. I remember seeing Lenny Dykstras lambo or Ferrari sitting out front of the clubhouse once when we went. Circa 2007
This is a question for Millsy - how often does Jerge fist pump yell “Let’s go” at home during a normal day? Like imagine him folding a fitted sheet and belting out a “Let’s Go”!!!
I did not cheat and called it at 77. I have played it a few times. It's brutal with wind. A friend of mine about a 18 handicap shot 78 there with this huge slice off the tee. Next day at the Gary Player course he hit trees almost every tee shot.
Great attitude and energy. Thanks for bringing me that course again, now I have to go back and play it. I remember playing ok there but not scoring well, and out of the 12 guys I won the most $ in skins. ( You still should have made that putt lol) 👍
Wesley would have a field day hearing Jerge said his shot into the bunker on the par 3 was “not bad” 😂 “40 feet, not bad” lol love ya Jerge. Never change
Hahahaha I know right!!
Hope y’all enjoy!!
Always enjoy the content! Amazing course and great playing!
Stickin with my prediction from last video: -2
Solid round for a 77. Pretty impressive man! Enjoyed watching as always
Shooting +4 in 2 holes is finally some golf I can relate too on this round 😂
Come up to CHARLOTTE NC

You make a triple bogey on a hole and still have a smile on your face such a positive dude keep it up ⛳️⛳️⛳️
Have to at a place like this!!
Just played there last week. I’m an 11 handicap and shot 86 so I’m super happy with that. I was 2 under from holes 5-10 and then tripled 13 as well. That course kicks your butt if you don’t drive it well.
Grinding for triples. That should be on a t-shirt!
Lol that's the name of my game lol
I played this course in July for my 21st birthday. I'm not a good golfer by any means, usually shoot mid 80s. I think I hit every single fairway that day, but maybe 1 GIR. This course is brutal, yet maybe the most beautiful course in the country.

Has the most positive attitude towards this game. Everything within 50 ft not bad

Still one of the best short games I've ever seen. Grinded 18 holes and without the triple it was a really good round. Love the videos....
George your wedge game is a huge reason why you finished 5 over par. Hope you are good
First time playing the course and back tees thats a solid round
Honestly not upset with it!
@@BryanBrosGolf Keep killing it George!
Jerge* 😂
I love Mils! Her indifference when you are talking is absolutely amazing. What a good sport!
Ayyye we’re back.. all things considered still a good round! Favorite quote : “coming back from covid you know where you DONT want to start... the back tees at the ocean course” lol

I played the Ocean Course many years ago and it is brutal. I can't imagine it from the tips. You go George.

Hey, your crowd acknowledgment to no one finally drew an applause on 18! Nice job George.
I was hoping someone would notice that!!
Tell Wesley I was rooting for him last weekend he had 3 good days just had to limit that one bad day!
Thank you to the camera lady , Mills, awesome job 🙌🏻🙌🏻⛳️⛳️⛳️⛳️
Let’s goooooooo
George, what pants are those?
Been fortunate enough to play The Ocean Course a handful of times. Unless someone has had the chance to play there, it's hard to even explain how hard No. 13 and No. 17 are. Two absolute beasts!
imagine disliking one of Jerge's videos. there's not one blessed thing you could dislike about his content.
Literally the purest swing I have ever seen
Been workin on it!!
@@BryanBrosGolf Can anyone give me tips? I need to hit the ball farther!
Amy Johns slow backswing and focus on tempo
Dude no need for apology .you.are a fantastic golfer gives us 10 handicap hope 🤟🏻🏴❤

You have such a great attitude, it makes it easy to watch your videos.
Called it, 77 in front nine video.
On a windy day that course will murder your mojo. Well played !
That crisp fizz off the clubface gets me every time.
The Ocean Course is a shining example of punitive golf. Small errors become really big scores fast. Courses like that are rewarding like 5% of the time, when your game is on, and the other 95% of the time make you want to quit the game.
Haha right?!
One barely missed fairway away from a really good round Jerge! Entertaining as ever and filled with funness
So true!!
It's amazing to me how you can go from a triple to making a tough up and down on the next hole. Would love a video on your mental strategy and stay positive and hit good shots through the woes.
I just played here in December. Its so pure.
I once sunk a 30 footer for par on 18 while the entire boys high school team was sitting next to the green watching our group finish. I want no part of that ever again! Great chip in the clutch !
Being from the Charleston area , I was really looking forward to this video. Awesome job and great content as always.

Par on 18, wild
Hopefully the winds don’t pick up!! Lunch time and George drops a video!! Let’s Gooo!!

You turn really well through 16th, you hammered that baby home.
Came back to watch this again to preview the course for the PGA Championship this week. Thanks Jerge!!
I appreciate your positive attitude! Keeps me watching.
I'd say one of your best videos. All conditions aside, I thought you played really well too. Also, Mills reaction to you conceding that last putt had me dyin. Great stuff again!
Everybody: Let's get this MAN to a HUNDRED GRAND!
If he shoots even on the back he had a good day. That course is a beast.
It would be a great day!
@@BryanBrosGolf 77 is still awesome. When the wind is howling there isn't a tougher course on Earth in my opinion.
I pared 14 from the tips. One of my 3 pars on the back. Aimed at the beach and rode the wind!
George, that was a terrific chip on 18. Your gallery knew that was good. Beautiful course. Good round from the tips.
Cheers from Tucson
First golf TH-cam channel I watched. Got me hooked on the game. For that I say thanks! Love the content
Played it several times. Try it with 30-40 mph gusts ...true beast.

I saw the wood around the water and knew it was Pete Dye. Beautiful course.
New then add tough equals high scores. I did the same thing yesterday.

Great round and video George
I shot 88 from one tee up and thought I conquered the World
One of my favorite course to play
I called it (said 77 in front 9 video). That back nine is a beast, cannot imagine if the wind was blowing 15 to 20 mph.
George,
We’re always in for a treat when you post.
Dude thanks so much!!
Only about a month left until the weather in Ohio gets good enough consistently for golf! Your videos help me stay sane waiting 😂 can’t wait to also bust out my new sticks 🙌🏼
Great Catch at 13:47. So nonchalant about it too! Let's go Gerge
Dude....only 5 over on that course is amazing. 99% of your subscribers have never shot below 80 and that includes me. Nice round.
Visually one of the best videos so far. Such a beautiful course! 👍

I'm pretty sure I dumped it in the water off the tee on the same par 4 when I played it a few years ago. Tough course!

Thanks!!!
I called 76 too in the first video!!
G.B. is living the dream!!!
The music u use with the beat drop is just insane
Great video, thank you. I would need a new dozen balls every couple of holes. Mills still the best.
If I had played from these tees, I would still be there.Cool vid...
I said 75 but the water ball hurt. I love this course though. I remember seeing Lenny Dykstras lambo or Ferrari sitting out front of the clubhouse once when we went. Circa 2007
"youtube support, what seems to be your problem?"
"yes, i see the like button but i can't seem to find the love button..."
The into the wind holes on the back are always difficult. 77 is solid from the back tees.
One off on my prediction of 76. Nice round!
Who needs GIR when you can chip like that! Well played! 👌
Mills is super fun and talkative!!
This is a question for Millsy - how often does Jerge fist pump yell “Let’s go” at home during a normal day? Like imagine him folding a fitted sheet and belting out a “Let’s Go”!!!
Crushing driver in both parts, great playing Jerge!
Man that triple - you could easily have shot level with better luck ... skill was good ! 👏🏻👍🏻
Couple bad breaks in this back. But still exceptional playing. Us mortals would struggle to break 100 from the tips at this course
Great round overall, keep going and you will get Rory’s score in no time!
Let’s goo jerge! Your the best! Let’s pop off today and shoot 72! You got it man keep up the good work!

Underrated content! Positive attitude and kills it
Hahaha jerge running all over the course is so funny bc relatable 😂😂
Great attitude and energy. Thanks for bringing me that course again, now I have to go back and play it. I remember playing ok there but not scoring well, and out of the 12 guys I won the most $ in skins. ( You still should have made that putt lol) 👍
Dude I’m turning my head for shot shapes like I’m playing lol always enjoy the videos 👍🏻
For not playing for a few weeks not bad at all. Great channel.
I say you finish 3 under and this channel is elite great stuff Jerge!
oof not the closest prediction lol
