Hi Steve I hope your convalescing and recuperation is going well, really miss your vids and humour but your health obviously comes first 👍 me and the wife have just spent a few days in Burnley visiting a few places I’ve seen on your channel, the Alice Nutter churchyard and the Pendle Hill area, Blackpool, Colne and Wallace Hartleys’ grave and drove over the Forest of Bowland to Lancaster, beautiful area mate and wouldn’t know about any of it but for you so thank you so much 👏👏 was great seeing the places on your vids in real life but I think the wife was getting fed up with me saying “Steve says this and Steve went this way” lol 😂 thanks Steve and fingers crossed for your speedy recovery 🤞🤞

I've always wanted to visit the Queen Street Mill somewhere near Burnley.....bot never got round to going - I'd love a reproduction poster from the museum with ....'rules of ye mill...' on ....when workers got fined sixpence for turning up late etc ! I went to hospital for a chat yesterday , following a rather shocking phone call....saying that the growth which was removed on February 20th WAS cancerous after all .....strange that almost 3 months later they tell me.....but at the time the surgeon explained that when biopsies are taken .....it's like an apple - 'it could be good on one side and bad and rotten on the other''......but 3 months of waiting ??! Anyway - the op took it all away BUT they want me to start a course of chemotherapy from May 26th as a precaution , to clear away any potential remains....
Can't keep a good man down. Glad to see you up and about and I hope your recovery is not too long. Scoots are the future...I went to a silverwing 600 last year and it's great. Keep at it Steve, you'll get there!
Good to see you back posting a video Steve, thanks for taking the time and trouble to update us. Some people don't understand the effort involved. The Piaggio is a definite upgrade from the YBR, better all round. It'll stand you in good stead when you get back to work. Your strength will return, it will just take time. You need to be patient, with yourself, and with the process. All the best, Steve. As Churchill famously said: "Keep Buggering On!"

I'm so glad to see this upload Steve. I was only thinking about you today. Get well soon and relax as much as you can. Love your new commute too Steve.
Great to see you back again Steve. I'm very sorry to hear about the complications but hopefully, the worst is past now. Take care of yourself and best of luck with the new bike.

Yo Steve. Great to see you back. I had some infection in my tooth and to cut a long story short my dentist wanted £8000 to put them right. Yeah i know i could get a new bike for that. Any way i smeared table salt all on my gums and after three days all the infection had gone ! I will try to upload some vids of my hornet for your perusal. Cheers Steve
....it's a lot less pain and stress just to have an infected tooth extracted , as I did about a year ago when my face ballooned overnight due to an infected left front fang tooth.....whatever they're called . Steve, so pleased to see this, thanks for the update. Sounds like your mum’s doing a great job looking after you, mate. Interesting new commuter you’ve got there. Let’s hope that you’re going to be able to ride it soon but I think the mountain bike will probably be too much for you, certainly for a good while. Good to see you're back in circulation, I didn't mither you because I thought you had enough to deal with aside from that I don't know where you are. I went from 19 stone to 13 due to illness but I'm slowley regaining some strength. Take your time do as you're told and hopefully see you out and about🙂
....just been watching LAST year's Chipping Steam / Classic Car , Bike & Commercial vehicle Rally which I filmed ! It was on over the weekend....did anyone go ? Sadly , I've missed all the events during this heatwave , and will probably miss a few more. Skipton big bike Sunday and Pendle Powerfest....did YOU film these ? Eh ?! By the way ....I paid for my broken kitchen window by selling some Beatles cd boxed sets to my pal Kevin....but then decided to raid my SERPS Pension pot with the Pru...to buy the BV350 and pay my credit cards off , pay for my stairlift , buy the mountain bike , replace two rotten hi-fi speakers ....and buy a new fridge and Henry hoover too, as well as a few other items. Pensions are a load of cobblers - we should spend it NOW....and not be praying we all live to 70+ ! I thought I'd mention this in case you thought I'd WON the cash ...! No, but if you HAVE loads of cash AND it makes you miserable .....then send some to ME !
Great to see you back home again Steve, you've certainly shed some timber, but im sure when you get back on the baked spud & prawns you,ll be back to your fighting weight again. All the best mate, hope you get out on the scooter soon 👌
Steve you sound weak. Give it time you'll get stronger. I was prescribed a supplement called Fortisip. I put weight on I had TB and had to have a A A A repair (aortic annurysm repair) lost 4 stone got it back but its a long job. Look after yourself, nice to see you again,be positive Steve you'll get their. GOOD LUCK
....sorry to hear you've had that severe op. - my old GP ....actually a young bloke called Dr. Greyson , didn't survive his annurysm after waking up in the middle of the night in terrible pain. They've named the street to the Health Centre after the poor chap . His colleague ....an even younger chap - died in a skiing accident the year before ! I'll enquire about Fortisip - thanks very much.
Good to see that you’re back home Steve after such a big operation that you’ve had it’s only natural that you’re so weak take it slow and easy and try to eat little and often and drink plenty of fluids don’t be trying to do any lifting at all as your wounds need to heal naturally and good to know that your mum is out of hospital as well it must have been a worrying time for both of you anyway Steve all the best and stay safe 👍👍👍 Regards John
....thanks mate - yes , she's terrified as she 'has' to have a camera down her throat soon , like I did - but I had general anaesthetic . They think it's just cysts on her Pancreas but they reckon there's something else too. Like me as well....the initial hospital visits are for tests.....then they call you back for the big operation .....if needed - but she said at 84 years old she feels like not bothering anymore ....
....thanks mate - I hope I'm going to be well enough to get them both out soon....but I'm still very frail - however every day I'm eating better and feeling a bit stronger. There was a strange and upsetting message on here last night....an eccentric chap with £££££ kept pestering me to sell him my old Hornet 2 years ago - so I told him there's plenty on e-bay ....and 2 days later he'd bought one for £3300 ....and then offered it to ME as a gift , in return for swapping my old bike for it and he'd have fun 'restoring' it ! Of course I said YES....but now he's moaning about the 'gift' deal - so last night I asked him to come up with a CASH figure , of the difference between the two bikes' values and I'll pay him the difference....maybe £1800....but my offer was then deleted. Thankfully , I don't get many trolls on here , or aggro - I just film leafy Lancashire or just nice bike rides or interesting places to visit....so thanks for watching mate - I've done this for 10 years and there are better videos a few years ago....before I started running out of places to visit !!
@@diversionbob8482 ....I'm not sure what's going on ....but in hospital and when I came out feeling very very ill, he complained that I HADN'T informed him .....so I replied that HE should phone ME as I was too ill to sit tapping away on my tiny cheap phone ....BUT last time his lady friend was shouting ....'HANG UP HANG UP on him....' in the background....! as she thought we'd been chatting too long . I've just had some grub , a chinese shredded duck delivery....and I've not puked for a few days as the people at Burnley hospital told me to take more of my tablets to ease the nausea and reduce the kwikshits....and their advice seems to be working.....but I can do without him making sulky comments .....as I'm enjoying this heatwave - I get 2 hours of sun in my little backyard so I've been gardening....in my 7 planters - lovely Dahlias.

@@SCCFORUM Thanks mate...I've just had to have 4 fizzy Co-Codomol tablets due to more sharp stabbing pains in my surgery area . The Doc at Burnley said it's with not taking enough tablets or maybe due to eating just small amounts of food as they recommended ....'eat little and often..' but they still seem to be guessing all these weeks on ...and the planned CT Scan isn't for 6 weeks ! They also cancelled the intended Chemotherapy course that they'd planned after discovered the growth they removed on February 20th WAS cancerous after all....but they're sure the Whipple Procedure got it all out ....er....well, I bloody well hope so !

You look like you have lost a lot of weight Steve. Seeing you back on youtube has made my day. Well there you go you just said you have lost a great deal of weight. The 350 should scoot along excuse the phun! I got updates from Derek and James Steve.
....I had a DVLA £3.66 road tax refund in the post from the little YBR yesterday ....and a letter confirming I no longer own the bike ! I might not bother cashing it.....seeing as all 3 banks in my town closed down years ago..... 'to save money'.
I've still got a cheque here for a similar amount, as the Abbey building society closed down, although I could take it to my bank, I just havnt bothered to, it's among my letters somewhere, had it since last year, anyway had more things to attend to ..as have you Steve bless you x
@@randompete2204 ....I actually MISS the old tax discs - when you felt you'd got something BACK from them after forking out ££ ! We should be able to buy one.....for £3.66 !
.....I spent half an hour on the phone to bloody Bennett's Insurance....which was the company the little ybr was insured with - BUT the conversation ground to a halt when the dizzy woman was confused about....''the actual cc ISN'T 350 then .....doooooooohhhh , er....it's actually 330cc.''? I've never heard such shite as MOST vehicles actual cc's differ from the model name - but she was so confused she said she'll .....''have to pass it on to their specialist team and it'll take 2 days.'' Women ! I said don't bother - just cancel the ybr policy....and she seemed pleased when she said there'll be a cancellation fee of £36 ! Anyway - I've been online to Devitt.....who insures my Hornet , and sorted out a fully comp. policy with them instead ....sorted !! No silly bloody questions or confusion like Bennett's - whose drop down model menu didn't even mention my 'new' 2016 Beverley ST350 on their list - ST means Sports Touring .

Try smiling more , you're loaded and retired and there's a heatwave . Book a week's holiday in Blackpool and have some fun....instead of throwing moodies - AND the same goes for the OTHER two ....leave me alone if you're still refusing to phone - I'm trying to quietly recover and am weak and in pain and live alone without any carers , so I can do without twaddle online . I tripped in the bedroom this morning opening the window and had dizzy spells in the backyard this morning while trying to get some fresh air sat in the yard .....I wondered WHAT those two 'bikers' who are from my town were doing ....one's Dave Wade who lived 5 doors from me for years and featured in my Manchester Ring Of Red video a while ago on his old GoldWing - and the other is Ian Barrett .....who was in my St. Annes Monday Motorcycle Meet video last Summer....when I stayed overnight .....he was there on his ...'new 12th bike - a BMW1600...'! BOTH know where I live and both live 5 minutes away....yet neither have called round for a chat and a brew . You really find out WHO your pals are when you're ill....!!!!
....more aggro from dizzy divs - my insurance with the little ybr was with Bennetts .....but as I've mentioned before...a woman on the phone got confused as to why the new scooter was a BV350ST .....'and yet the V5 slip says it's actually 330cc ?' She was serious too, and said my insurance would be delayed until she can consult the technical team.....er......eh..?.....SO I told her to forget it and went to Devitt. Everything seemed fine and I road taxed the bike online - but then they sent an e-mail saying they required a copy of my 'No Claims Protection' letter....a DVLA code for my licence , and a copy of both sides of my licence to show all my details and what I can drive or ride. Anyway , I IMMEDIATELY sent all 3 items ....but then a week later I got a letter saying they were cancelling my insurance on the 25th of May as I'd not sent them the 3 requested items !!!!?! I tried to get the muffins on the phone...but gave up after 35 minutes.....so I forwarded the 3 items 3 times with a heading saying ''URGENT , URGENT - READ YOUR E-MAILS - URGENT !!!'' ....and they finally woke up , and I got a letter saying my insurance was valid again.....but NO apology for the scare or THEIR cock up due to some twerps NOT reading e-mails. I had even said that they can cancel it if they want and give me a full refund as I've since found a deal with Carol Nash for 50 quid cheaper AND with full breakdown cover.....!!....but the footnote on Devitt's letter said ....'if you cancel your policy now there will be a penalty charge and admin fee of £185....' !! You couldn't make it up - has EVERYONE gone barmy ?

.....it's FRIDAY....and it's sunny....!!!!!.....a 3 week heatwave - incredible in our climate. Have you made the most of it and been somewhere nice - OR are you sat at home , miserable , brooding , with £££ in the bank doing nothing ? SUPPORT our dwindling seaside resort economies and get your arse there and have a stroll on the beach to relax THEN plan what you'd like to do in the resort - if it's BLACKPOOL go to Stanley Park on the motorboats , then have lunch in the lovely Art Deco cafe - then go to the Pleasure Beach for 4 or 5 hours.....and go on the dodgems, river caves, ghost train . alice in wonderland. wallace and gromit, steeplechase.....and VALHALLA !! yes, YOU can afford it . This is what I had planned last June for a pair of grumpy , scowling , smart arse pisstakers....but they REFUSED to go - I SHOULD have gone home and told them to sod off. Don't criticise places where you've never even been !!!!!
....well, after an appointment at Burnley Hospital last Thursday and getting good advice about the amount of 'enzyme' tablets I SHOULD be taking , in proportion to the size of the meals - my guts are a lot better and small meals are staying down. Boiled eggs and Black Pudding slices this evening....BUT an egg rolled onto the floor , and the Bury black pudding wasn't one you could boil....it HAD to be sliced up and grilled and was very dry. My 84 year old mum drove me to Aldi this afternoon ...but it tired us both out despite rests here and there ....my sparrow legs are very week and I can't walk 20 feet without feeling like collapsing and getting dizzy. Physio would probably help...an exercise bike etc as I can't risk the mountain bike yet .
Just watched a review of the BV350, looks a well spec’d scoot, Steve. I think that you’ll enjoy riding it when you’re better. Should be fun at weekends too. It also has plenty of storage so no need to take your ‘pie bag’ any more 😆th-cam.com/video/UMeLJkWWajg/w-d-xo.html
....yes, it looks great ....that American bloke's videos are very useful - and he showed how to take the instrument surround off fairly easily.....but no word from the shop yet about replacing it. I'm very glad that my BV350 DOESN'T actually say 'BEVERLEY' anywhere ...as just BV350 looks cooler .....imagine using girl's names - it cudda been worse though....Gladys , Mavis ....etc.
....just heard that the stolen classic Mini , belonging to a nurse - was recovered from a thieving shower of scum at a 'Traveller' caravan park in LEICESTER !!!! What a ''shithole'' !
....thanks very much - I'd love to be there ....but I've just watered my Dahlia seedlings in my backyard....and it's wiped me out - the plastic watering can seemed to weigh a ton in my skinny arms ! These heatwave are great though aren't they.....hurray for global warming - though it's a shame about those floods in the rest of Europe....!.....BUT maybe when there's a heatwave HERE....then UK holidaymakers should have a week away HERE !!!!......and support the British economy. I bet the Lake District is packed - though it's a big enough area to spread out in .....the only trouble up there are those silly buggers who insist on tackling those tiny 'passes' ....'as it's a challenge' .....in their cars , campers and bikes - well DON'T do it, stay on the normal roads and politely use the 'passing points' .
All the best Steve for your recovery. Take care and look forward to your videos when your fully back to health.

Great to see you up again Steve, missed your journeys, you'll soon be back up rivington barn, all the best to you,.👍
All the best Steve, nice to see your up and about and on the mend take it easy
Speedy recovery Steve nice to see your videos again .look after yourself and take care
I’m in the same boat as you Steve, I’ve also bought a scooter, a Suzuki Bergman 650 that I’m hoping to have a bit of fun on
....just been watching LAST year's Chipping Steam / Classic Car , Bike & Commercial vehicle Rally which I filmed !
Fantastic to see you back Steve. Take it easy and I hope you get better very soon 😉
hello Steve, great to see you again mate, hope you get back to full strength soon. I think the scooter is a cool choice 👍🏻👍🏻
....thanks - yes, no gears , chain or faffing about with my feet !
Good on ye Steve making the video, was worried about you, keep the faith, upwards and onwards
Hello Steve it's so good to see you back home mate all the best mate 👍🏍
Well it looks like a fight but I am pulling for you
Good to see and hear you again Steve, the scooter will be a lot better for commuting on good fun to, all the best .
Hi Steve. Glad your back home. Hopefully you will be back on the hornet in no time 👍👍
Really nice to see you again Steve 👍🤩😍
Good to see that you’re back home Steve after such a big operation that you’ve had it’s only natural that you’re so weak take it slow and easy and try to eat little and often and drink plenty of fluids don’t be trying to do any lifting at all as your wounds need to heal naturally and good to know that your mum is out of hospital as well it must have been a worrying time for both of you anyway Steve all the best and stay safe 👍👍👍
Regards John
....thanks mate - yes , she's terrified as she 'has' to have a camera down her throat soon , like I did - but I had general anaesthetic . They think it's just cysts on her Pancreas but they reckon there's something else too. Like me as well....the initial hospital visits are for tests.....then they call you back for the big operation .....if needed - but she said at 84 years old she feels like not bothering anymore ....
Cat is super cute and 350 seems like a good cc to be fair - loving the videos pal 👏🤜
....thanks mate - I hope I'm going to be well enough to get them both out soon....but I'm still very frail - however every day I'm eating better and feeling a bit stronger.
@@diversionbob8482 ....yes, you're quite right - I didn't ASK for a serious swap ....then he said ....'it's yours - but I want your old bike to fettle with in return.'
@@StevesHornet900 As Bob says, do not part with a penny. Great to hear you are starting to keep some grub down👍🏻
All the best,
Paul.
They also cancelled the intended Chemotherapy course that they'd planned after discovered the growth they removed on February 20th WAS cancerous after all....but they're sure the Whipple Procedure got it all out ....er....well, I bloody well hope so !
...bugger - an end of the month meter reading due today , and council tax coming up too ....it's being skint that makes us low wage earners miserable - yet people with cash seem bloody grumpy and sarcastic all the time !
You look like you have lost a lot of weight Steve. Seeing you back on youtube has made my day. Well there you go you just said you have lost a great deal of weight. The 350 should scoot along excuse the phun! I got updates from Derek and James Steve.
You should market that diet Steve , would make a fortune 😂 You will get there eventually try to eat properly it can only help.
Take it easy and go at your own pace and ignore the idiots
....I had a DVLA £3.66 road tax refund in the post from the little YBR yesterday ....and a letter confirming I no longer own the bike !
You can pay them in online if you have online banking.
Where do they get these numpties from? 😏
@@hoyhoytoo6772 ....I had a similar experience with the Hornet when I mentioned the little screen.....'do you mean it has a faring' ? ...a lad said - ....''well, it's known as a fly screen or maybe a bikini faring....'' I replied - but the twerp ummmmed and ahhhhhed for 10 minutes....so I hung up ! They should employ bikers.....lots of them - so we're not....'in a queue'....for half a bloody hour !
....yes, dizzy divs - the couple from last Summer who asked me to show them around Lancashire.....then REFUSED to go to Morecambe or Blackpool as ....'they're fackin' shitholes - WE ain't goin' there !' Try smiling more , you're loaded and retired and there's a heatwave .
Great to see you again our friend hope you get well soon love from me & Denise tc chat soon xx
....hi Ian - thank you mate .....you were always a gentleman and it was always lovely to meet you and Denise , having fun in Blackpool . I recently bought a lot more old Blackpool postcards from e-bay for peanuts ....yet they date from before 1910 with stamps on and messages ! I have over 100 in a box now . I could send some pictures to you on Twitter if you like ? Any plans to visit Blackpool....we should all make the most of the 3 week heatwave - and go on the Valhalla ride to cool down !!

Glad to hear your dulcet tones again. Don't worry about those moaning about you not uploading anything for a while. Some folk are just numptys.
Scooter will be perfect when you are well enough to venture out again, but that with take time, you've had a massive trauma to your system. Slow and steady is the best way, don't over do things that can cause your recovery to take a backwards step.
Get well soon, but don't rush things. 😉
.....it's FRIDAY....and it's sunny....!!!!!.....a 3 week heatwave - incredible in our climate.
Hi, Steve
Are you any better, how’s it going?
John
....well, after an appointment at Burnley Hospital last Thursday and getting good advice about the amount of 'enzyme' tablets I SHOULD be taking , in proportion to the size of the meals - my guts are a lot better and small meals are staying down.
@@StevesHornet900 here’s hoping that you will be able to ride ‘Gladys’ soon 😆
....just heard that the stolen classic Mini , belonging to a nurse - was recovered from a thieving shower of scum at a 'Traveller' caravan park in LEICESTER !!!! What a ''shithole'' !
Sending u love from Chipping steam fair steward Dylan timbrell
....thanks very much - I'd love to be there ....but I've just watered my Dahlia seedlings in my backyard....and it's wiped me out - the plastic watering can seemed to weigh a ton in my skinny arms !
