2:14 Detailed specifications are in the description. Jump starting segment from 4:50. Following more after video testing, it was able to produce about 10 jump starts before needing a recharge.

Good review and well explained. I believe you need top up charge every couple of months.
There should be a green led on the mini jumper cable and when its solid green its ready to crank over. All these units have a slightly different pre start process.
Sometimes you have to unplug the jumper cables from the battery pack and start again.
After you have started the car just remove the jumoer kit cause the car battery doesn't actually charge the power bank up and it may damaged it.
These cheaper ones are good enough to start your car and very handy to have.
    Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks Knackers_Oreilly, very kind and I appreciate your insight into the top up charge and jumping starting process. For such a small unit I was impressed at how effortlessly it managed to start the car, even multiple times, on a single charge.

There should be a BOOST mode that you need to press when trying to start a dead flat battery, thats why it didn't turn over first go.

Ah I see, I'll give this a try next time, thanks wheelz7au!

I recently had to jump start my car, like you it did not start first crank, waited 30 sec and boom. The battery jump starter got me out of a jam alright.

Thanks alleywatch22, my positive opinion hasn't changed after using it again the other day. After many months unused it was almost fully charged, and started the car effortlessly, better than jump starting off another car in my opinion. The key though as you mentioned is to wait about 30 odd seconds before turning it over.

Did the battery end up taking a charge after running the car for awhile?

Hi Brad, it did although I had to jump it again after I stopped 15 minutes later to have a look at a random used car. This was filmed last weekend and I've been driving around since and it's been fine. Ideally however, I'd like to take it onto the motorway for an extended drive to get the battery back to optimal, and next time I store it I'll disconnect the battery.

if you prise out the compass it works fine, move it away from the battery pack, god knows why you would want to know which direction you were facing , lol.

Thanks kennybo, I didn't consider that the battery was intefering with the compass, but I agree that it's a rather odd addition to a jump starter. :)
