I still prefere the normal steer, you can clearly see the tires of the cybertruck reacting really slow to the thing that replaced the steering wheel inside the cybertruck.
When there is nearly an accident it would be handy if it reacted in time instead of too late.
I went to Toyota 40 years ago because of the shabbiness of American car makers.Now it's time to go to tesla for the same reason

The judge that ruled against Tesla should be disbarred.
She is not a basic judge but the head of the Delaware chancellory Court. Which is the highest position outside of the Delaware Supreme Court.

The judge can only judge in the name of the law, if Elon brings so much value the shareholders will vote withou any issue.

Westley is dishonest - that's an easy case to make I think.

I voted to deny the package. Musk is beginning to loss the plot. He is to focused on Twitter. if he would drop twitter and come back too fully managing Tesla properly or relive himself of Tesla and focus on twitter would be better overall. His actions in the wake of the decisions and demands to shareholders says he needs less power now not more. We need someone totally devoted to Tesla's mission now who will speed up development of key projects and not go on a vindictive firing spree like musk did to the supercharger team.

Besides: the Model Y remains the #1 selling car in the world, the Cybertruck is a massive hit and is ramping very well, Model 3 refresh was excellent, FSD is progressing exponentially, Optimus bot is an industry leader, stationary storage business is exploding, etc. So what's the problem? Personally I think one of the drivers of this drop in stock, along with the court case, is brokers et al are trying to quietly divest some of their toxic/stranded asset stocks while buying cheap as they know it’ll be the last time they can do so before the 8/8/24 day. In not a trader or specialist, but the “look over there!” Nature of much of this leans right into this. 🤷🏼♂️

This can be taken to the appellate court in Delaware. Also, prominent Tesla retail investors led by Amy Steffens has retained counsel and is interjecting into the current court. This is great news.

@@garymiller8287 Are you kidding me? Tesla can appeal but the judge's ruling can't be ignored. If they lose an appeal (potentially going to SCOTUS at some point and losing there), the only remedy, which is being voted on soon, is a reinstated comp package.
Yes, an appeal of the decision (not judge) to the state Supreme Court (Delaware does not have an appellate court), and then, if there is a constitutional issue, SCOTUS. At any point though, these courts can refuse to hear the appeal.
For now, the only remedies with the Chancery Court are requesting either an injunction or a stay, pending an appeal. That and advocating about the monetary awards. However, this court has the authority to deny a request for an injunction or stay pending appeal of its ruling. But, the denial can be emergency appealed to the Delaware Supreme Court.
The biggest immediate issue to deal with is the shysters' (and I hate that term) request for $5-6B in fees.

It's an agreement between Musk and Tesla's owners to _let him buy_ (in 2024) around $2bn worth of shares at 2018 prices, contingent on Tesla hitting a raft of very aggressive performance targets - WHICH IT DID, IN SPADES - _and then hold them for at least 5 years_
So he will have had to wait 11 YEARS from the shareholders approving the deal until he can touch the first penny of the "payment", having had to shell out $2bn for the privilege and having led Tesla to performance many commentators thought was impossible.
Seems fair to me.

Don't understand why over the air updates seen as difficult. The software industry has been doing that routinely for decades.
The reason why legacy auto are struggling with them is due to how they put their cars together.
They do not actually build their cars but assemble them from parts that others made, this is especially true with the electronics.
These electronics come from suppliers who build their parts and include their own software/firmware that can not be touched by the car maker.
So they have a situation where they have over 150 parts that the carmaker has to get to talk to each other in different languages with different degrees of intelligence and capabilities all whilst the carmaker has literally ZERO clue about software.
The companies that they outsource the software to are too big and fractured to be able to be dynamic enough to push out software that can achieve the task at hand.
Legacy auto's only way to solve this is to copy Tesla but they do want to do that.

@@MarkSpohr Not true. There will be big synergies between Elon's companies - e.g., material scientists from SpaceX helped with the Cybertruck. It's the "Muskonomy." FSD will remain inside Tesla and the bot will use Grok from xAI, and get access to X's language data.

You have to hand it to Musk for SpaceX and Starlink, and of course the cars. However, the Chinese are throwing everything they’ve got at becoming the dominant global EV player and it looks like they’re succeeding. Tesla don’t make hybrids and here in Australia hybrid sales have been exceeding BEV sales for 18 months. So there’s a big hole in the non ICE market that China is filling.

Toyota is the “Philips” with the audio cassette, filament bulbs and planned obsolescence, viciously fighting against other technologies and refusing to advance so that they do not cannibalize their current cassette business, while Tesla is the company with the CD/DVDs and LED bulbs.
Lars Tesla is not moving away from cars (EVs) it’s just that he is extending into other complementary areas. Tesla will still make cars and semis even as it extends into AI and Roborics.
Back in 2018 when the compensation package was created it was worth $2.3 billion in Tesla stock. The reason it is worth so much today is because of the increase in the share price of Tesla stock thanks in part to Elon.
From all the videos I've watched thus far of 12.4.1, the consensus is that 12.4.1 is no improvement at all. Very disappointing. I will wait for more video reviews to reach a final conclusion.
