I would say 5th on your first attempt out of 20 is very good, considering you have only lived on your boat for just over a year. Lets see them laughing on the next vote....patience is a wonderful thing. Thanks for the vlog.
Thank you for the support Rebecca. I was pleased to come 5th. I have an idea or two that actually means coming 5th was a bit of a gift. I think I would have been a little constrained if I had been elected. Time will tell. Have a great week.
So enjoyed the vlog Chris Agree with your thought on CRT, shame I couldn’t vote ☹️. Better luck next time. You’re just what’s needed!! Me too looking forward to more light and sun ….. won’t be long. Keep on enjoying and encouraging us who can’t boat anymore 🌟👏. Joan
It appears…reference the light, we have gained almost an hour already. It’s crept up and those incremental gains are starting to make a difference. Thanks for the support Joan.
Hi Chris I often find that people who laugh or mock someone for attempting to do something to benefit everyone often haven't got the guts to try and make a change themselves and I think you did amazingly well to come 5th and who knows if you keep trying you may even get elected one day and don't worry about the negative people youv got a lot more people that do support you and enjoy watching you 😊😊😊😊
Thanks for your support Nathan. I agree. Always easier to mock someone so when they fail, it makes them feel better in themselves. I’ll continue to make suggestions from questions I’m going to pose. Have a great week.
Chris, psychologists have done studies with depression. They told subjects to smile as often as they could remember. At the end, they discovered that the subjects felt better. Smiling made them feel better. Also, you might suffer from the same common malady that I have, SAD, seasonal affective disorder. It’s real and deals with not seeing and feeling sunlight. Keep smiling, keep warm, and keep putting out your videos, please. Tom
I agree. It is a matter of remembering when you live by yourself. If I feel grumpy I’m less likely to smile….but if I listen to music, well that lifts my mood. The key take-a-way, do stuff you enjoy…Thanks Tom.
Hi Chris I have watched you from the beginning of your journey, and really enjoy your honesty, I have a small 30 ft boat that I spend time on always a challenge this time of year keep going forwards summers not fare away.
I admire those of you in smaller boats. I do wonder how I would cope. I get cabin fever in this big thing, hat’s off to you mate. Keep sane and have a great week.
Love your authentic videos Chris, it shows the real life of narrow boat living. The highs, lows & all the bits in between. We of a certain age need more vitamin D in winter🙃 I like 💕the serious photo of you 😊makes me giggle- I enjoy your SMILE & humour, music and you’re in my birthplace, hence following you 🤭( enduring the ads too 🤓) . I often wondered when YT do cooking videos is it really delicious - you confirmed it 🤭🤣🤣 Great vlog 🤗👏🏾👏🏾
There’s only one way in my mind when vlogging….tell the truth and be realistic as that is authentic. I do marvel at the life some people have as it’s always great and they’re happy. I must be doing it wrong but then I don’t have the dramas others have. I just live my style of life and I can only be me. Thanks for the support Jeannie. Have a great week.
Real shame we didn’t get the result we wanted but hope you will stand again in the future. Don’t worry about the bell ends and keyboard warriors. There’s always one mate. Rise above it and please keep doing yr videos😊
Smiling is always good Chris. Smile at the world and the world smiles back...(Well most of the time) 😂 Enjoyed that VT, and you still haven't put me off getting a boat. 😂 Have a great week. M.
Keep your spirits up Chris, springs around the corner...winter photos can be superb, and you know what you're doing camera wise.. so pop them into the vlogs, think most of us viewers would like that, you are not alone...just reading all the comments below proves that. Looking forward to the next smiley instalment..haha...all the best big fella...👍👍
Thank you Kevin. I need to get out more with the camera. It’s an excuse but we’ve had a lot of rain recently and I’ve just been using the phone and using instagram. It’ll improve as I’ve had a word with myself. Have a great week.
Nifty tunnel trip - cool idea, heading into the dark & coming out in the light. Seems like the CRT could come up with community service sponsorship to galvinize interested parties to cut hedges and such. Taking part in such activities is often fun, and satisfying, for participants.
It was easy as I was so close. I wouldn’t want to ordinarily travel in the dark…..unless it’s absolutely necessary. I’ve thought of the boaters taking responsibility but that should come with a payback. Cost of contractor measures against discount in license fee for the proactive boaters. Just one thought. Thanks for the support and have a great week.
I agree - there should be fed-in incentives, from the CRT, for community participation. Reduced license fees, say, for continual cruisers - I mean, why not have a Co-op scheme whereby continual cruisers could trade volunteer hours for staged discounts?
Something that helps me when I get down in the winter is to go to a greenhouse. I’ll get a nice warm drink, take a book and sit on some garden bench , just smelling garden smells, the warmth, flowers, etc. tricks my mind into thinking I’m sitting in my garden in spring. Green everywhere, things smell nice and sometimes there are even birds in there. An easy couple of hours to cheer myself up in the nasty ,cold, dark winter. For those that laughed at you running for positions on CRTC …….at least he tried, he didn’t just sit on his butt complaining . The boot remover is called a boot Jack I think, cool gift.
The effects of a green house are rather nice when you can sit in the warmth of the sun on a cold day. The weather is warming up, it is getting brighter for longer and my spirits are starting to lift. Thanks Jilli. No one got anything done sitting around. I’m putting my head above the parapet for people to have a pop at. I’m prepared for that which is why I’m prepared to out them on vid too. Have a great week
“Apricity-warmth of the winter sun.” What lovely imagery. Your vivid word choice also describes your engaging vlogs (more like visits!) during these dreary winter months. To anyone who hasn’t subscribed to this channel, Give it a go! We can all use a little apricity.
Thank you Cindy. I like that word. If only I could remember more words like that. Perhaps I ought to start a word of the week. Thanks for the supportive comment. Have a great week.
Chris a brilliant vlog. As always so professionally put together. Bet it’s a bit scarey in the storm on a narrowboat tho. I do think you would be great to start up an independent action group for the canals to lobby crt into shape. You would be brilliant Chris. Best wishes have a good week.
Thank for the support Trevor. I’m, going to make a video about my thoughts in the near future. If that gains support or at least CRT get to see it, I’m, hoping something will happen. Have a great week.
#9 tonight. The longer days are so welcome, especially on those cold, clear winter days when we actually see that--oh, what is it called? You know, that burning thing that hangs in the sky? Yeah, that. I think if I were living close to a railway, it would take me some time to get used to seeing passenger trains. Aside from a week-day commuter train and the twice weekly departure of "The Canadian," the only other passenger train is the one I drive in summer time. Can't fault you for not smiling enough for some people. You've made "Grumpy" part of your brand, and part of the humour you deliver. You're doing reality, so the best thing to do is show your reaction to the subject. Whatever it is, it will be real. One of the best features is your photography, and the occasional visit to vetrans' resting places, which is something no one else does. There's always a story there. You have a good sense of putting all of that together with the "boaty" stuff.
Thank you Peter. I haven’t done a lot of Grave stuff recently as I’m travelling old ground. New terrain in the coming weeks so a lot more exploring to be done. Grumpiness…I think that’s me naturally although I do like to laugh. Thanks for the comment and support. Enjoy.
Very nice vlog Chris very good finish fort out twenty, but remember God only said come forth 😂 and I have known people do the job, all the lives and a crap at it. We got a lot of them in the houses of Parliament and if he’s a boater he should be ashamed of himself . He’s probably the type of fella that would lock a lock up even though he’s seen you coming anyway it’s a full moon tonight, and summer on it’s way 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I agree with our politicians. I don’t think it matters anymore which colour you support; they’re all as bad as each other. Hidden agendas everywhere. It’ll be interesting to understand how often he walks the towpath to talk to his customers. Are we seen as such? Thanks for the support Tom. Have a great week.
Another great vlog, thanks for this, love watching what you're up to. This is my first winter on my boat bought back in July. I thought it was blinking cold though, brrr the cold mornings where I have to get up at 5am for work nasty. Thank goodness in a marina for a bit. Windows and hatch over froze over and the canal ice blocks floating in and this was near Uxbridge. Just bought another hot water bottle and thats better got bungs for my two porthole windows thats helped quite a bit with cold. Thank goodness for these milder sunny ish weeks. I think you would've been great on the board for us all in CRT. Yes the canals pathways and water itself around London area certainly need tidying up from what I've seen. Ciao. 😀😀🦾🦾
I think it’s interesting how most people find their first winter is difficult and yet, I thought it was rather mild. The lessons are the same though. We’ve had a few chilly nights and frosty mornings. The weather is on the turn already. It does have a positive effect. Thanks for the comment and enjoy your week.
Love the channel content Chris, and the journeys you allow us to come along on are just great. Photography and music are top stuff. Hope you don’t feel you need to change in any way because of comments on SM, it’s clear to all of us that you’re a great guy, what ever the weather or circumstances😁👍😎
Thank you for the support and comment. It does mean a lot to me. Despite that I can accept critics and those who want to mock, it’s always nice to get support. Have a great week.
Smile when you want to smile cry when you want to cry i like the way you keep it real and honest which is why a lot if people like your vlogs Chris...keep it up and i would suggest you dont change and enjoy the good days and reflect on the bad days All the best Arthur
Thank you Arthur. I appreciate the support. I do try to smile but over the winter months it does become harder. I note I haven’t watched any chick flix recently so tears are kept at bay. Have a great week.
Wasn't the clown that was lying on the floor laughing a new boater once. No doubt it's an expert on everything. Chris you would have been an ideal member.
Thanks Mike. Not even sure he’s a boater. People who comment don’t always make that clear. That said, businesses request and pay for consultants who are brought in to fix the issues because the execs can’t identify the right way forward. Group think at the top perhaps. Thanks for the support and have a great week.
I love your humour it’s great, and haven’t noticed you not smiling enough at all. The person that laughed at you not getting the CRT vote, has the exact mentality that doesn’t help boaters with sorting out CRT problems, what a total plank. We have finally got a boat, build completion and ready to go by end May, got a cancellation and so the journey will begin and although have a certain amount of experience, your vlogs are worth their weight in gold, we are very grateful and totally enjoy them ❤❤❤
Congratulations Jacquline. End of May is a great time to start cruising and living. Be prepared to wait a month or two extra. Hopefully you’ll be ok. Thanks for the support and enjoy the week.
With you on the winters mate I didn’t mind the ones in Germany as it meant Skiing but on the flip it also meant Soltau😂 Mut’s and Dee music always go well with your Vid’s
Those Skiing trips were always the highlight of the winter months. Soltau and Bergen Honne were on a different planet I'm sure. Thanks mate. Enjoy your week.
Great vlog, Chris. Been cold in the workshop. Having trouble with my purfling, especially with cold fingers.🙂 Keep warm stay safe and keep smiling, Ole Son. Coffee on me.
Shame you didn't make the vote Chris, (you had my No1 choice). I think you would be a great asset to CaRT. It's not how long you've been a boater that counts it's have you got the right mindset and skills to make a difference.
I agree and it’s why businesses use consultants. If everyone put their head above the parapet instead of just being silent, we would be in a better place. Those who don’t lack leadership. I’m prepared to stand up for what I believe in. Thanks for the support and have a great week.
A great wee video Chris. Thanks for sharing some of the ordeals and scenarios of winter cruising and lifestyle. I haven't been commenting lately but I have been watching every week. Thankfully the warmer days are not too far away and you can get out and start mingling with others again.
Thanks Alan. I appreciate the effort people make when commenting. I also recognise that I have to answer them all. Warmer days are the best. Have a great week.
Thanks Chris, top notch as usual. like you I am glad days are getting longer, makes me feel better. Have a 1.5 mile walk every day no matter the weather always wear appropriate clothes. Your comments regarding taking care of the Canals ( or lack of ) also applies here in Scotland. Regarding lack of tree pruning and weed removing they claim it for the benefit of the environment, Our Canal Society offered to cut back the branches where it affected our boating and was told not to as risk assessment for each tree would have to be done ( safetyof birds and bats ) also we would have to pass a Health and Safety test, We are mostly 50+ and worked safely all our lifes. stopping rant now i could go on a lot more
There is always a reason why things can’t be dome these days. H&S is the key to change blocking or just making stuff happen. It’s as if they don’t want stuff to happen but them it’s those Injury Lawyers 4 You are at fault. That said H&S needed to improve but once again common sense has gone and risk is not managed correctly. Our generation understand that and no-one these days (generally) want to end our lives quickly. Thanks Harry. I appreciate the support. Have a great week.
Great Vlog Chris. I love the fact you do a good walk before moving your boat, good reconnaissance prevents crap performance or having to deal with issues on the fly… nothing wrong with feeling a bit low and grumpy in the winter time (there is a reason why bears hibernate 😂) I find in my line of work I’m so busy up till Christmas then quite in the new year till mid February, so class this as my “winter recuperation season” - like you I like it when the nights draws out and the days become longer as I end this period ready for a fresh new year… perhaps the chinese have this best with Chinese New Year being later through the season, food for thought. Glad to see that boat had sorted itself out a bit, nothing worse than seeing a boat in disrepair. As for CRT - what can I say…. There loss … it’s the same with all “corporations” they guys at h the top have no idea, it’s the people at the bottom and volunteers that have all the experience, but no one listens… so they make all the mistakes a previous senior team have made or tried as no one listens… but always at someone else’s cost… Keep your chin up, have a good week
I dont disagree with the sentiment of listening or the problems of those in charge think they know better. At times they do but don’t tell the work force how to do the tasks in hand. Allow them the freedom of decision making so they feel part of the success and feel valued in the process. I used to give my lads the credit for success particularly those who were the team leaders. Effectively I did nothing. They made my intent happen. It’s their success. Different styles of management I suppose. Thanks for the support Jon. Have a great week.
Lucky for you and the rest of us ~ there's a season for each of us to like and a season for each of us to dislike.😉 Get a grip, Spring 😎and the dreaded heatwaves 🥵of Summer are just around the corner. BTW: Just who did get the civilian seat on the CRT board?
It’s lighter by nearly an hour already. Spring is a matter of months away. Busy time coming up and being busy certainly helps. Don’t know is the answer to your question. Have a great week.
Hey Chris, a viewer request. Would it be possible for you to do a locator map at the beginning of your vlog? As a prospective future canal boat owner (and former Navigation Officer in the US Merchant Marines), I think having a visual marker at the start would be most helpful. And as a "travel vlog", would aid the viewers on your journey through England. I've watched other vloggers (i.e. "One day more aboard") and it greatly improves the presentation. Thanks for sharing your travels with us wannabes. And get as much sun and fun as you can.
Thanks for the tip Eddy. To be honest I forgot on this vid but have been toying with it for some time. It's just another thing to add to my list and have to learn how to do. I will do it as I'm travelling new ground shortly. Of course if you know how to do it, please let me know. Thanks for the comment and enjoy your week.
Enjoyed this vlog, thanx. I'm glad you are thinking of changing your profile pic, I have never liked the dark sinister one, it doesn't seem to reflect your true self 🙂
I need to take a pic that does depict me. I did like the artistic style but it’s time for a change. Smiley me. Not sure how it’ll turn out mind you. Thanks for the support and have a great week.
Yes the light hat. It’s a great thing as it happens. I use it a lot. Shinny brasses only for it to rain for the next 4 days. Typical. Thanks Katelyn. Have a great week.
I hope the worst of the freezing weather is behind you now, cheer up it will soon be spring......Great video as always take care and all the best mate - Paul 👍
Great video Chris. Love the shiny brass - and the lovely clean boat. It looks fantastic. So you’ve clearly been busy despite the cold, windy weather which is great for your mental health. Spring is on the way so you’ll have more reason to smile - the obviously be careful not to do it too often as you’ll get wrinkles! 😂 Personally I love your current profile picture - think of it as artistic rather than grumpy!! Hopefully after the current storm - can’t remember the name but the one after the one you mentioned - we will have some more settled weather and you can get out and about with your camera. Good for you and very good for us 😁. Have a great week Chris 😊
Stand by. This week I got out quite a bit and took a few happy snaps. Here’s the issue. That creates a lot more work editing as every pic needs post production as I take a photo under exposing a little bit to ensure the highlights don’t blow out. It’s worth while though. Still a bit grumpy, but then I have the T-shirt. Have a great week.
We had temperatures below 0°f -5 to -20 °f Wind chill factor, here in Madison Wisconsin, USA. Heavy snow and ice on the roads. Currently 32°f, just at freezing point.
That’s a bit colder than the cold snaps we get here. I suspect the difference is we have a wet wind. It makes it feel colder. I like dry cold to be honest. Thanks for the support Bob. Have a great week.
Chris, crt didn't let u in bc u would "get ur done'! & u would ask questions! It's happened to me😮! CHIN UP, Smile on. Tks for vlog, I laugh alot, helps .me.😂 Tina
Loved the vlog today Chris. Uplifting is what I took away. Thank you for that. I am always taken with how much content you produce in one vlog.. all top notch and engaging. Yes the days are drawing out..wooohooo. Was it Eric and Ern who sang that song about `when your smiling^? Well a version of it..
Hey bud !! There is nowt wrong with ya smile,,, it’s just sometimes upside down lol As for the negative piss taking comments ,,,, ignore,,,, Great vlog again, like the tunes and editing 💪👍👍
Adding some crumbling feta is so good and a lot less cream with maybe a dash of milk makes it much creamier. 😋 Also love so chives chopped and added.......just my take on it lol I suffer with complex PTSD I take a natural serotonin supplement the happy hormone as well as a melatonin the falling asleep hormone in the winter, it keeps me calm and stable both natural.....and keeps Paul from running in the other direction 😂
I got it all wrong at the last minute. Take it off the heat but next time, I'll do what you suggest. I hope things are going well for you both. Take care.
I’m hoping so David. It’s certainly getting warmer although I’ve just heard we may get another bout of cold weather. Who knows. Thanks for the comment and have a great week.
Love the vlog 👍 tried to down load a recent cartoon I’ve seen!! Can’t !! Anyway 6-10 managers surrounding Dave digging the hole, caption reads, due to cutbacks Dave’s getting the sack!!, could this be CRT?
I’ve just seen that image. It’s about right and how the British industry used to work which lead to it’s decline. Interesting how CRT appear to be following the same model. Thanks John and have a great week.
Great Vlog Chris, question would you ever consider going into a Marina for a few months in the winter (Dec, Jan, Feb or Nov, Dec, Jan) it might make the Winter more enjoyable and ease the stress? I get there is an expense attached to it but if affordable is the gain worth the financial pain? Have a great week.
water is wet, ice is cold - sun is hot, but boat is not. - Well you make me smile anyway .. Gotta look after the bosses 'cos they deserve it eh - being closer to Royalty.
I ought to give them part of my pension as I don’t want them to go without. That said, I do wonder what they remit is or their priority of work is. I’m sure there must be a reason why the canals are looking worse for wear in places. Thanks for the comment Martin. Have a great week.
Anther enjoyable vlog Chris mate keep them coming How much of the network are you planning on doing hopefully our paths may cross until then stay safe stay warm 👍
This year heading down the South Oxford and on to the K&A. After that…….Thanks for the support Ben and would like to meet up some time. Have a great week.
And you can always burn it if you run out of wood. Astonishing Rodney:OR ratio. Even the 7:1 ratio amazed me. Is it a sign of modern warfare being less about “boots on the ground”? I also wonder how much it reflects contracting out maintenance to civilian organisations. Thing is, it’ll only get stress tested when it’s too late to do anything about it. The law of unintended consequences has a habit of biting you in the bum.
Yes mate. The contractors have made a difference in the need for the workforce and I sort of get it. No requirement for pensions and accommodation. However, come the day, not sure. Still in the news yesterday was about the Big Boss stating we all need to prepare for a different way of life. I tend to agree. Have a good week.
I’m taking a few supplements at the moment. Not sure how long they take to work or if they do any good. Who measures the effect? Thanks Rob. Have a great week.
Saw it this morning. I reckon that journey would have taken her twice as long due to filming. It’s very engaging and that’s certainly an advantage of a quiet canal with single locks. I’m looking forward to it. She did good. Thanks Matt.
Thanks for the tip. I’m taking all sorts of supplements at the moments. Takes a while to work out if any of it does any good. Magnesium is one of them. Juries out. Have a great week.
Chris There’s a young single handed boater who has a new vlog “The Voyages of Lydia”. His recent vlog discusses loneliness and how he struggles with it. Maybe you could have a chat with him?
Thank you Chris you had me laughing out loud with your chin rest and smiler. From a pebbly wild wave crashing beach and a lovely day on the west coast of NZ (north island...Te Ika-a-maui, the fish of Maui..in protest of our new right wing government banning the use of the maori language in government. Shame on them!
I'm not sure if any Govt is doing any good these days. Either right wing or on the left, they all appear not to use common sense. The UK has gone to the dogs. Shame on them all but thanks for the comment and support Glen.
Is it an echo chamber? Too many chiefs who only listen to themselves? Too many Chiefs would, possibly, be acceptable if they made time to listen to the Indians. But I fear those days have gone
Wise words Paul. Yes you’re right. I don’t know the composition of the CRT when they took over from British Waterways Board. It’ll be interesting to have an answer to the question though.
I’ll have a look at your channel and sub. Braunston - heading there with another boater 1st week in Feb. I’ll be in the area for about a week. Great to meet up.
@@chrismears-inslowtime great. Maybe a gongoozlers sarnie or something?can’t email as no link on your channel. Email link on ours. Drop us a line & we can arrange 👍🏻
Who wants to destroy the cut - not me as I’m living on it. CRT appear to be and have for some time cut back on the general maintenance. Their own work force state that. They are not listened to despite telling me they want to make a difference but are told to get on with it. That, to me, in MBA terms is toxic leadership. Discuss.
All I want is a navigable canal that is well maintained for future generations. There are some quick wins if the Execs and management think differently. It doesn’t need an old timer to work that out and it could be argued an old timer is used to the state of the canals and has become used to it through evolution. A first time can easily spot the wins. Businesses use consultants for that very reason. They’re not caught up in nostalgia and culture.
I enjoy your filming but not the moaning ..i understand the depression ..i understand you were in the raf ..but nowyou have a life to embrace sourounded by beauty ..liky you sad your not good at hiding your feelings .well iam the same ..have a lovley life
Thank you for watching but my rhetoric is complex. There is an undertone of cynicism, irony and often it’s the look or tone of the voice where you appreciate I’m making a point which is generally understood. Have a great week. By the way, do you live on the canals?
I absolutely appreciate it but what is the harm is holding an organisation to account in an effort to improve. Give me someone who is prepared to put their head above the parapet than someone who keeps quiet every day. The former will instigate change while the latter will just accept mediocrity.
I just find it annoying that new boaters ..do nothing but brag how cheap it is to live on a boat ..and moan about the mud the tress ect ..after all its a canal please enjoy and stop moaning 😊

Enjoy.
brilliant vlog Chris keep it up
Thank you. I appreciate the support.
Nice to see you can still have a giggle about nothing in particular. For me that means your okay.
Thanks Greg. I appreciate the support
Smile when you want to smile cry when you want to cry i like the way you keep it real and honest which is why a lot if people like your vlogs Chris...keep it up and i would suggest you dont change and enjoy the good days and reflect on the bad days
All the best Arthur
Thank you Malcolm. I appreciate the comment and the edition also support is very much appreciated. You’re a gent. Stay warm and have a great week.
A up mate we're two old gits recently retired and enjoy your videos quite a bit we like your sense of humour keep doing what you do 👍
Thanks for the support Kevin and have a great week.
Brilliant vlog a few more sleeps before spring won’t belong❤
Thanks Margaret. I appreciate the support. Have a great week.
There loss … it’s the same with all “corporations” they guys at h the top have no idea, it’s the people at the bottom and volunteers that have all the experience, but no one listens… so they make all the mistakes a previous senior team have made or tried as no one listens… but always at someone else’s cost…
Keep your chin up, have a good week
I dont disagree with the sentiment of listening or the problems of those in charge think they know better. At times they do but don’t tell the work force how to do the tasks in hand. Allow them the freedom of decision making so they feel part of the success and feel valued in the process. I used to give my lads the credit for success particularly those who were the team leaders. Effectively I did nothing. They made my intent happen. It’s their success. Different styles of management I suppose.
Thanks for the support Jon. Have a great week.
Lucky for you and the rest of us ~ there's a season for each of us to like and a season for each of us to dislike.😉
Get a grip, Spring 😎and the dreaded heatwaves 🥵of Summer are just around the corner.
Hi Chris good to see the brass nice and shiny ( ‘finally’is what I said out loud 🤣) hey is that a light on your hat? Have a good week. 🙏😁
I think the cold has gone but as they say, don’t cast a clot till May is out. Thanks for the comment and support Paul, have a great week.
Thank you Tina. I appreciate the support. Have a great week.
Thanks John. It’s been quite a good week this week with a few early morning walks. Eric and Ernie…weren’t hey great.
Hey bud !!
There is nowt wrong with ya smile,,, it’s just sometimes upside down lol
As for the negative piss taking comments ,,,, ignore,,,,
Great vlog again, like the tunes and editing
💪👍👍
Thanks for the support Rich. Have a great week.
Great Video 👍
Thanks Peter. Let’s chat soon.
Adding some crumbling feta is so good and a lot less cream with maybe a dash of milk makes it much creamier. 😋 Also love so chives chopped and added.......just my take on it lol
I suffer with complex PTSD I take a natural serotonin supplement the happy hormone as well as a melatonin the falling asleep hormone in the winter, it keeps me calm and stable both natural.....and keeps Paul from running in the other direction 😂
I got it all wrong at the last minute. Take it off the heat but next time, I'll do what you suggest. I hope things are going well for you both. Take care.
We voted for you, you didn't do too bad though. Try again whenever it comes up.
Thank you Cheryl. I appreciate the support. Have a great week.
Good vid Chris. I think winter will end early this year. Chin up. USAF
I’m hoping so David. It’s certainly getting warmer although I’ve just heard we may get another bout of cold weather. Who knows. Thanks for the comment and have a great week.
ready steady cock up oh sorry cook up great video mate another few weeks and the sun will be warmer for us all
I’m trying……really trying. Read that how you see fit. Thanks Dougie. Have a great week.
Love the vlog 👍 tried to down load a recent cartoon I’ve seen!! Can’t !! Anyway 6-10 managers surrounding Dave digging the hole, caption reads, due to cutbacks Dave’s getting the sack!!, could this be CRT?
😂
I’ve just seen that image. It’s about right and how the British industry used to work which lead to it’s decline. Interesting how CRT appear to be following the same model. Thanks John and have a great week.
Good morning Chris, nice 1 mate. Not easy to write this whilst my dog is chewing my ear lol…
Thank you Tony. Enjoy your ear licking.
@@chrismears-inslowtime it was funny Chris, he’s a good lad lol…
😂
Vit D3 all year , especially as you age and the occasional ‘shroom’ , will see you right.
I’m taking a few supplements at the moment. Not sure how long they take to work or if they do any good. Who measures the effect? Thanks Rob. Have a great week.
Hello 😊
Hello Gillian.
Who did win the crt counselor?
Not sure
Mate....have a watch of Mays second to last Narrow boat vlog. It will certainly make you laugh. Cheers :)
Saw it this morning. I reckon that journey would have taken her twice as long due to filming. It’s very engaging and that’s certainly an advantage of a quiet canal with single locks. I’m looking forward to it. She did good. Thanks Matt.
Try taking magnesium glycinate it may help with your mood
Thanks for the tip. I’m taking all sorts of supplements at the moments. Takes a while to work out if any of it does any good. Magnesium is one of them. Juries out. Have a great week.
Chris
There’s a young single handed boater who has a new vlog “The Voyages of Lydia”. His recent vlog discusses loneliness and how he struggles with it.
Maybe you could have a chat with him?
Thanks. I'll have a look and get in touch.
We voted for you. Been subscribed for many months - maybe you could reciprocate?
When you getting to Braunston? Will buy you a beer.
Its the likes off you that gives the canal a bad name..i know you were in the RAF but you will never destroy the cut 😊
How unpleasant!
My Mum used to say: if you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything at all.
Discuss.
What do you want red carpets and fairylights ..😂
Not sure what the point of that comment is?
And to be fair WHAT DO YOU WANT Its the canal ..talking from someone lived 50yrs on the cut
Block me if you must but you dont have come out with a load off collywash 😂
No need to block you, it does appear you’re doing much the same thing!
Mind you if you stopped moaning we could all stop watching as its a case off..whats he going to moan about this time 😮in someways its entertaing 😂
I mention you in this weeks’ vid having a pop at me for trying to do something positive.
You dont appreciate what you have ..you should know better ...you have reached paradise uk appreciate 🙏 and love and protect and stop moaning
I don’t moan over things like that and never have but I do make statements and quantify them. If you see that as moaning…….
If Chris’s vlogs are so awful, then don’t watch them! Simples!
