watching this and its almost midnight, i just wanna say youre amazing and idk what it is about you that is calming to me. Just everything about this video calms me lol i might have to just watch this every tike i have an anxiety attack
literally every time i want to try something new, you upload the exact type of video i am looking for! Last time a made a disstresed dress, now i am going to make this type of pattern on a scarf. thanks!
I like using this technique especially for scarf or things I really need to have a clean backside for. For my crochet bags I usually do the fair isle technique though, since I'll be putting a fabric lining in them anyways. less ends to weave in and is less time consuming haha
So… i make really big tapestries and want so badly to not have to float the yarn But I’ve been worried about trying this bc my tapestries are of people and are usually 150+rows and very detailed Do you think this would still work?
I think you could incorporate this technique with some modifications, with super detailed graphics i tend to mix in sone fair isle in with intarsia, so maybe start with that approach and experiment from there?
I think maybe safety pins/stitch markers may help with this a bit! Of course this totally would depend on how many shade switches go between each pixel on your pattern, but in my mind, if you kept your skeins closely wound to the back of your tapestry and just slowly unrolled them over time, it may help prevent long ends from tangling together into a spaghetti mess. I'm about to make my first tapestry and it's 60x52 😅 pray for me lol I'm used to making big square stitch bead projects and have been dabbling in crochet for a while, so I just decided to say screw it and make something that I know I'll like but will also keep me busy for a while. The design isn't too complex, there's only 4 colors, but lots of rapid switches in some spots. I hope your projects go well!
Honestly the yarn tangling is what keeps me from graphic crocheting so this video really made me want to try it again, thank you.
Why is this not trending? This is the best tutorial for this type of crochet I've ever seen because you taught everything from start to finish.
Thank you :)
I’m happy that your channel came across my feed. I love your calming energy!

Stitchfiddle :) its what i use for all of my graphics

I can’t wrap my head around how you hold the hook.
I do have a very uncommon way of crocheting :)
what is the app you’re using to count the rows on the pixel grid?
A website called stitchfiddle :)
