Thanks for Great Explanation. If anyone wants to model the complete connection manually and then want to input loads manually for each members end. For example, a purlin is supported on a beam via cleat angle, so there are two seperate purlin and 1 continuous beam modelled in idea statica. now at which distance from the end of the members load is selected from staad model to plugged in idea statica model beacuse there are some automatic length taken by idea statica. please explain this. thanks
Hello, thanks for your comment. Generally, the global model ought to comply with the design in IDEA StatiCa and vice versa. For more info about how the eccentricities work, and what can be done in IDEA StatiCa, please go through this article - www.ideastatica.com/blog/what-if-it-doesn-t-go-in-the-right-direction
Hello, unfortunately no, the BIM link with Checkbot is 1 way only - from Revit to IDEA StatiCa. You can only update any changes done in Revit in previously created IDEA StatiCa models, we call this sync: www.ideastatica.com/support-center/sync-all-vs-sync-current-item
Hello, the complete list is here: www.ideastatica.com/bim-integrations In addition we have an API to allow other applications to connect with IDEA StatiCa - www.ideastatica.com/support-center/api-developer-documentation-website

Hi, is there and option for Revit to update the connection details in the Revit model after finished designing in the IdeaStatica?

Idea can work on other softwares not in the list?
