Another thing to add. Outbreak prime/perfected is in of itself a replication chamber. Which means that with it we can generate more SIVA. All we need now is a means to program it and at least for now that was lost when Rasputin sacrificed himself. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if Ada-1 will learn to use it soon. Unfortunately though SIVA is kinda overshadowed by quicksilver.

Since this mission's return, I've been seeing more of the Outbreak Perfected being used when roaming about in Destiny 2. It's nice because it's such a good Pulse Rifle.
I always thought mithrax was a lil weird, but i never knew his whole story. Now that i know how much effort he put in to unite the fallen and humanity. I understand why he talks so highly of the guardians. Honestly he might be my favorite character now
this is part of why I want the entirety of destiny 2's campaign and dlc's story missions restored, even if they are all over the place it's still nice to have access to the story unlike what we've got now, and I still believe season's should be selectable by the players, not this one and done endless stream of nonsense that half or more of the player base doesn't complete.
I have an idea regarding seasons: put them on either a 1 or 2 month rotation. For example: this month is Season of the Splicer & the next one is Season of the Drifter. I've not seen anyone else throw that idea out there except me, so I'm just spilling it out to the world
SIVA still has so much potential to feel like the Flood of Destiny and i really hope it’s given time to shine. Isn’t it weird how despite the fact that the Neomuna Quicksilver is much more advanced than SIVA (this can be seen visually comparing the SIVA Zombies to a Cloudstrider) SIVA never slowly kills it’s user and caps their lifespan to 10 Years! Plus, SIVA managed to defeat over 100 Iron Lords and take control of them according to Valus Saladin! So which type of Nanites is truly superior? Also one thing that confuses me is how Byf refers to the Devil Splicers as “Demigods” I search for this term in the lore in relation to the Splicers and couldn’t find it?? In fact the Devil Splicers seem to think that SIVA turns them into outright gods, as the “Sepiks Deposed” bond says “Prime no longer, No Primes but we.” They no longer see Servitors as Divine, rather themselves… the Grimoire Card of Vosik, the Archpriest says “In time, Vosik will Ascend…all his people will, and worlds will fall.” Potential I see for SIVA going forward: A surviving Cooy of Atraks-1 finds SIVA on Europa and reignited the House of Devils under herself, or the Devil Splicer remnants find Neomuna Quicksilver and use it to become Fallen Cloudstriders! Oh, and video starts at: 3:58
So, something I noticed about the sword duel between Eramis and Misraaks back in Season of Plunder. Despite us guardians not really being able to wield one, we know for a fact that the swords fallen captains use are VERY sharp, and paired with the arc current running through them, they can cut through many, many things. They are swords made for not only killing the enemies of the fallen, but also fallen as well. By all rights, Eramis's sword should have cut through Mithrax's horn thing. But it didn't. That little detail shows that during that season, Eramis was still panicking and on the run. She didn't have time to take care of her own equipment.
I was so happy to have remembered at least part of Trevor's pathing, enough so that I was able to get the triumph for not getting eaten on my first run,
Funny enough, when ghost asked, "Do we like the fallen or hive more?" I realized that hey, this may be impactful later on. And then zero hour happened, and I was like, "YAAAAA, Get me my arbiter of the destiny universe."
that old gameplay makes me really want a substantial sniper buff. I don't think I've ever seen snipers be that effective in destiny since I've started playing back in season of dawn.
If you think about it, Neomuna’s nanotech, is more or less a more advanced, purified version of SIVA. While future conflicts after the war of light and dark may impeded restoration efforts, it may go along faster than we think. Provided, Neomuna is willing to work with Coalition engineers and scientists to share their knowledge, and help us all rebuild. If we can do so sooner rather than later, we may be able to finally rebuild and fortify the City on Earth. There’s potential to turn it into an indomitable bastion for the Coalition. Utilizing tech and knowledge from each allied faction.
I think the fallen are the coolest faction in destiny. Their bosses are always really cool and they show what happens to a society when the traveller leaves them.
The weird thing is I remember getting outbreak perfected and leviathan's breath and took a few years break and now I don’t have them and they are grayed out
I remember first meeting Misthrax on Titan and my buddy and I doing what most of us did... we killed him... ...and then Byf posted a video about the potential lore of this secret ending. And so my friend and I did it. And that was what we accepted as our real ending. Little did we know what would come.
Question about the lore: how much do we know about the state of life in the universe outside Sol? The witness has been running along geocoding civilizations chasing the traveler for longer than anyone knows so… how much life is left out there? *Is* there life left out there? The witnesses backstory really gave me the vibes that there’s a very real chance we’re not just the last safe city on earth: but we may be the last standing civilization *anywhere* (that isn’t serving the witness). I’d imagine there’s fractured remains all over the place. If the cabal, eliksni, and humanity can all do it: then surely there’s *life* out there… but what about civilizations?
I would love to see Siva coming back in the future. RoI had a great atmosphere. At least I want to see the return of Wrath of the Machine. It was an excellent raid and I really miss it!
Given that Rasputin's core programming was to protect humanity, I never understood why i didn't make use of Siva. If it had enough control to turn it against the Iron Lords despite his main systems being in a Deep Freeze, it seems like he could have had it start rebuilding humanity after the Collapse, with Rasputin as the new God.
17:49 I doubt Ada is restarting the siva project. Elsie stated when she found quicksilver storm that its nanite tech was more advanced than siva ever was. That same nanite tech was based on the siva used to build neomuna and is still used by the cloudstriders. I think Ada is going to try and bring back Rasputin since unlike the siva replication complex, the seraph bunkers aren’t destroyed. I’ll put my nerd glasses down now, just wanted to make something clear.
I would but consider Rasputin enacted AURORA SACRIFICE. I liked the guy well enough and do want him back, but he can’t be brought back in the manner you suggest because there isn’t anything of him to bring back. He erased everything of him enacting that protocol. As for ADA, the quest says she made a simulation of our Zero Hour mission. She needed the data to recreate and improve the weapon. I think that’s so far the only extent she’s focused on. At least for now.
This man's voice does not match his appearance and it's wild. What I love about these videos is that they catch me up after I take breaks over multiple seasons.
Out of all Eliksni, only Aksis Archon Prime and Atraks-1 the Fallen Exo achieved "Godhood". Cant wait to see if Atraks' legacy will live on in some way.
I was a new light at the time zero-hour was being sunsetted, so I don't remember much. And surely didn't knew much about the lore of destiny at the time. I have no idea how I managed to not kill Mithrax without knowing it was a necessary step. But I still feel bad about the times my blueberry brain did not spare him
I'm somewhat dissapointed that Bungie didn't commit to reworking the mission entirely, they just added a couple of enemy, specially brigs and gave the house salvation to a couple of them. They should have given Mythrax his canon appearance after they decided to make him a recurring character and the hall of champions we reach at the end should have been the one we got recently in new light. I mean if they are bringing a mission back why not update the assets they reworked after the original. Maybe a voice line from eramis could have been nice too at the final encounter.
I just started watching your channel and I alr know I'ma love you man I consider myself a profession of some sort when it comes to destiny lore however I can't find much online I don't have a lot of the armor required to find most of my information do you have any recommendations assist my findings
I think Siva should be eradicated from our grasps a means of abandoning Clovis Bray's dark history and humanity should take advantage of the neomuni nano particles, as it could assist with reconstructing the old tower and patching up the city walls. Just imagine the satisfying ending to the light and dark saga if that's what could happen!

It should be noted that the returned Zero Hour mission is specifically stated to be a Simulation of the old heist. Ada says so
Omg "my name is byf" is an actual person 😂😂😂
Holy shit mithrax history is incredible
Definitely one of my favorite exotics
The weird thing is I remember getting outbreak perfected and leviathan's breath and took a few years break and now I don’t have them and they are grayed out
I remember first meeting Misthrax on Titan and my buddy and I doing what most of us did... we killed him...
...and then Byf posted a video about the potential lore of this secret ending. And so my friend and I did it. And that was what we accepted as our real ending. Little did we know what would come.
4:43 which time? XD
If the cabal, eliksni, and humanity can all do it: then surely there’s *life* out there… but what about civilizations?
its crazy how refined and well designed this mission is, makes wonder what happened to the level design team
I would love to see Siva coming back in the future. RoI had a great atmosphere. At least I want to see the return of Wrath of the Machine. It was an excellent raid and I really miss it!
Wonder if it’s possible for axis to be alive or to come back since Taniks has been able to
This would have been a great exotic mission to have gotten during Season of Plunder
What is that melee, what does it do and what exotic gives you that melee
Why is your crimson’s ammo reserve not infinite tf?
Done couple years back, when primary ammo was limited too
@@joaocustodio4301yeah i tought he was using into the light hammerhead, but its the old one, the shaders makes it look like the into the light one lol
Byf ily ❤
I hate to remember about accidentally hurting Mithrax during Year 1 D2 in planet Titan (Mostly I started in Shadowkeep content where New Light added)
Thanks for the great video Byf!
Can anyone tell me which sniper rifle is being used in the background gameplay please?
I sometimes see Mithrax and think “boy I sure am sorry for killing you dude”
Starts at 4:00
This man's voice does not match his appearance and it's wild. What I love about these videos is that they catch me up after I take breaks over multiple seasons.
Out of all Eliksni, only Aksis Archon Prime and Atraks-1 the Fallen Exo achieved "Godhood". Cant wait to see if Atraks' legacy will live on in some way.
I think that Zero Hour is hands down the most fear I've ever felt in a mission cause of Trevor
You know it's old when you see a primary ammo block lol
I never played the original quest, so no one warned me about Trevor. Nearly got a heart attack 😂
Mekhane of SCP lore would love the SIVA-augmented, cybernetinc Eliksni
Back in the day I accidentlly killed Mitrax in the place on Neptun where og quest was obtained and got scared I screw up💀
I just started watching your channel and I alr know I'ma love you man I consider myself a profession of some sort when it comes to destiny lore however I can't find much online I don't have a lot of the armor required to find most of my information do you have any recommendations assist my findings
seeing primary ammo bricks feels so weird
Remember it fondly? I was having PTSD flash backs lol
It definitely seems like yt is getting its system figured out for recommended videos.
Lore wise the hunter and warlock were in the attic ready to shoot us if we hurt miithrax
Wait till Byf has to explain the lore of zero hour again in destiny 3 😂
