The "Four Regions Muay Thai Performance" titled Choo Siwa Sekhon: Resounding Victory of Chaiperi

The Thai Boxing Show "Chusiva Sekhon: Resonating the Drum of Victory" will be featured at the "Aeu Kum Kam Yam Laeng: Moon and Me" event, the second installment of its series.

Organized by the 7th Regional Office of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai, in collaboration with the Chiang Mai Provincial Cultural Office, the event aims to promote tourism at historical sites and the National Museum during nighttime, in line with the Ministry of Culture's soft power strategy. The event will take place from December 21-22, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM at the activity area between Wat E-Kang and Wat Nan Chang, Wiang Kum Kam, Tha Wang Tan Subdistrict, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai.

The event offers a variety of activities, including tours of significant historical sites in Wiang Kum Kam, the ancient capital of the Lanna Kingdom during the reign of King Mangrai, which dates back over 700 years. Visitors can also pay respects to sacred relics, watch cultural performances such as the Khon drama Ramayana: Vibhishana's Allegiance and *The Piercing of the Mokkasak Spear*, traditional candle dances, and more.

Additionally, there will be a Kum Kam Night Market featuring local crafts and cuisine, watercolor painting sessions of Wiang Kum Kam, Lanna lantern-making demonstrations by community artisans, and engaging activities for children like "Mäe Muan Jai," a mask-painting workshop inspired by traditional Khon masks.
