First half of the season in the Super League has been pretty hard. Three signings to cover seven departures and most of our squad injured. Edwards and FSG need to wake up. Either he’s involved or they bring someone like Pep Ljinders, Dan Ashworth or Rafa Benitez to be Head of Football at Melwood. We need to bring in at least four players in January. There are world class players with contracts ending in 2025 including Ovalle, Carmona, Mušović, Walsh, Aleixandri,Katoto, Riviere, Font, Kelly and Cuthburt. He was apparently the one that was mostly in charge of the tactical side of things the last couple of years before Klopp left which was mostly a weekly defensive shitshow - a pattern which seemingly carried over to Salzburg because they had identical defensive problems.
With worse and less experienced players. Ljinders was an absolute tactical mess. Only some folks of this channel had pushed for him hard to take over Klopp and honestly that'd have been disastrous

I think liverpool was very strong against mighty fulham. Trent still in Madrid we play 9 against 11 + ref. The best liverpool preformens this year and have a beautiful draw.

I know we are emotional club and we do need passion to fight for the badge, but our games can’t be that entertaining and nail bitter… we need to make our games more straightforward.. I don’t wanna be involved in a nailbiter against Southampton away and Fulham at home .. it’s easier said than done but we seriously need to be professional… at this rate Tottenham game will be basketball stuff like last year… it looks well when we get results but we need to get our act together .. some of the players in that squad need to level up and stay available for rest of the campaign.. despite everyone saying we need a left back , I still feel we need a defensive midfielder .. gravenberch will be burnt out at this rate and also we need someone to rotate with Virgil.. honestly we expect too much from likes of mo and Virgil every single week… some other players need to step up especially in attack be there goals or injury issues … they seriously need to step up if they want to win the title … league is too ruthless for them to go missing in big moments… eventually they will be found out like last year..with Diaz I still expect more output consistently , jota seriously need to be fit for next 6 months for his Liverpool career .. Endo seems not rated enugh by Slot to play much minutes (and even though I like Endo I understand why Slot thinks this way) and Morton is stuck in the basement as well. So a dm profile Slot actually likes needed. LB is a conundrum as an improvement is needed, but I dont see either Tsimi or Robbo moving in january which would need to happen first if we were to buy a new lb.

Maybe it's time Robbo consider giving up his international career too. The international games are not helping him. So many younger than him have come back from international games knackered, so it would be worse for him. In this game, Robbo was probably in pain from the foul against him but tried to play on because who else was there to replace him from the bench? His heart was in the right place but his body failed him (as Slot said he couldn't do his normal run) resulting in the red card (which many pundits say should not even have been given). We were simply having a very bad day with the referee and also we did not protest any of the referee decisions and just accepted them.
We’re unfortunately very sentimental as a club and we keep tired legs for too long We did it with Henderson as well Robertson should have been replaced as the starting LB 2 seasons ago (not sold but displaced)

Honestly don’t understand how the conclusion to Trent’s poor defensive display is around commitment and not the fact that he’s facing Iwobi who’s cutting inside him and an overlapping run from a lad with superior physical qualities and gets 0 help from Salah. Not trying to dig out Mo but that’s the truth of it he was 2 v 1 everytime and he’s never been the greatest defensively as it is despite being better than people give him credit for. To me he looked more confused on how to deal with it than jot arsed.
Anyone who’s played will understand that the man overlapping has momentum on his side as he’s already in his stride and Robinson doesn’t really need a head start against Trent as he has him beat for pace and power.
