Who else agrees that a string quartet version of Mother Superior would be amazing? After becoming addicted to this whole album I keep thinking about Good Apollo 2
@DavidRayT They are all incredibly talented. Claudio is easily one of the most brilliant lyricists I have ever seen, if not THE most brilliant. Not to mention the concept behind the whole thing. Then theres Travis, who can just bring a completely different level to everything. And Eppard is one of the most tasteful drummers I have ever heard. Mic is a pretty sick bassist though, probably the most knowledgeable or at least technically precise one there. The point is, they're all awesome. lol
I think he gets more credit because if Claudio is still in the band with all different musicians behind him, its still coheed but once claudio leaves... its over.
@DavidRayT I've always thought he did get a little more credit than he should, because the other members are all absolutely amazing. But Claudio is also fantastic
@Captnplatnum Claudio get's too much credit. Lol Mic is probably honestly the most talented member in the band anyways (completely my opinion.). And this was done by The Vitamin String Quartet, IIRC.
Great,but whoevers doing claudios part(vocals) is putting wayyy too much staccato on their "words"...he sings very smoothly,and this is all choppy and such xDD,its a wonderful rendition though :)
This made my day. It's like the music and words blended together. A Violin replaced Claudio's voice. Wow.
Great song, great band, great tribute.
Dear god, I love this.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! COHEED AND CAMBRIA ARE THE BEST!!!! I wish i could get this arrangement so i could play it in my orquestra.
I agree, from 4:00 is perfect!
epic strings!

I really really want to hear a string version of wake up...
Damn they even did the thing at the end 😮

iksse= best album ever
@CoheedBojarzin Yeah! Mic is probably my favorite. Claudio's pretty close. Lol
sometimes I wish the notes weren't so short. Still lovely as usual though :)
@DavidRayT Haha, I think it's the hair. :P
@xToxicFool How does that make Claudio any less of a genius?
It just makes the guys at VSQ Geniuses as well.
Was this made using a synthesized computer orchestra, or was it made by an actual real live orcestra?

@rockster07 Yeah. I just hate how singers/front-men seem to get all the credit. >_<
Even if Claudio is perfect.
Itunes, heard of it?
amazon
@TheMbo121 I think SSTB is better, but it is ridiculously close for me

@rockster07 Yea, no offense to Chris Pennie, but I like Josh's drumming more. Not that Chris isn't also very good
