This man tried his level best to show islamophobia as a purely man-made concept and has got nothing to do with muslims of any region whatsoever. But due to his lack of experiences in this field(maybe), he couldn't deliver it that well as he wanted. Like, at times in this video, he seemed someone who is a politically active guy trying to push somethin' really subtle in his one-liners. Contrary to that, had he been someone who doesn't follow political happenings much, and remain highly skeptical in his leanings, he might have created an absolute laughter ride from this show. Now the reason of me highlighting the vitality of skepticism, here, is solely because it suits on topics like these, literally like no other thing. Islamophobia isn't something that was created on the day of the creation of Islam, it came due to some serious pathological problems that were created by both the so called teachers and students of Islam. Any religion, if being followed to bring other folks inside its umbrella, would start creating more and more stratifications in the society, and as a result of this, a big cluster consisting of atheists, skeptics, rationales, philosophers, satirists, also-rans, tribalists would come together to counter that religion in their own way. And some political chefs who keen to cook their own dishes take this counter attack on religions as a cherry on cake and start inventing words like "any random religion" phobia. Like for Islamophobia, you'll have Hinduphobia; For christophobia, you'll have anti-semitism and this endless vicious cycle of labelling to stay in their own echo chambers and to sustain their political standings continues till eternity. In all this labelling, the brazen labelers forget that if there's a phobia everywhere, then there's nothing as such as phobia and everything becomes a lie. Islam tried to bring as many folks as it can, in its umbrella, through the most heinous of ways and eventually accrued the most foes a religion can have. To these foes, many muslims never really cared and kept humanism over islamism but there are a lot of noticeable muslims that cared for "their" islam and came out on grounds to fight for it in many ways like politically, geopolitically, socially, ethically and the most important, violently. Now, as I've explained Islamophobia with the finest of my understandings, I will show the audacity of reviewing this act of Syed. He gave some really impressive one-liners at times which, if got inserted in some minds sitting there, made them giggle a bit after giving it a deep thinking. But most of the times, he failed in making his audience laugh and it wasn't something that was not nebulous. But there was something that requires my eugolisation for this man, and that was his pious intentions of bringing a topic, this sensitive, in a standup comedy act, despite himself being a muslim. Like this really showed how well nurtured and ethically pampered his childhood was, even it was not. His parents really did a profound job in raising him. Him being so open and straightforward in calling islamophobia out in this way, just shows how deeply syncretic our Indian society is, despite all the incidents that take place communally in our nation. A muslim promoting the statement of Hitchens of stating Islamophobia as a mere word created by muslim fascists, used by muslim cowards, and to manipulate muslim morons just exhibits the deepened secular fiber of our nation and is a vehement example of the fact that India's Islamophobia is nothing but just a political reality for some less educated or politically activated people. The biggest issue no matter what religion you are from comes when you reject the idea of other paths that leads to one true power, which leads to bigotry. This is what happens in majorly in islam and christianity both. On philosophical level (technically) islam and christianity are right. But in pragmatism its leads to bigotry one way or another.
PS- i feel that muslims are more safer in india compared to other islamic countries, and i also think that the way renaissance came in Christianity same should be there in Islam, and irrespective of religion it should adopt changes according to the changing times of humanity.
