I first heard this when it came out. I was blown away then and had my faith in the British Pop charts restored that something this glorious and beautiful and emotive could get almost to #1 on debut. I've always loved this. I just listened to Katherine Jenkins perform this solo and, while she has a great voice and set of lungs, she just doesn't have the power to do this song justice. This will always be a Brightman-Bocelli Duet for me, and *no one* can top Sarah's voice. She slays me every time and I cannot stop crying with joy at their performance of this song.
I had never heard of either artist back 15 years or so ago! Was sitting in this really nice little dinner place in Atlanta and this song was in the background ever so low! I had to find out who it was I was so taken with it's beauty and the voices! I still love it just as much as first time !

She's unable to respond as they are keeping her comfortable, but my heart aches when I hear this song. Even at 62 years old, when your mother is dying, you feel so lost. .. :(
