Thanks!
Wow this place is amazing 👍 great video again thanks for showing us around.
Cracking Video, Steve has a lovely collection of his own cars to restore, and Young Ryan and Steves Brother Richard really work hard and restore lots of cars to a fantastic standard
I saw the Cosmo at the Autosport show, I went crazy for it, so rare I never thought I would see one, will look beautiful when it's fully restored.
Hi Colin good to see you back ok from Thailand. And straight into a great video, what a selection of amazing cars.Great commentary Colin I could almost hear you drooling over some of those cars while you spoke.Look forward to what you find next week maybe a mansion? Take care.😀
Excellent video for Saturday
Hi Colin I had a Renault Clio and driving with my mate & flames started coming out of the radio 😂 she jumped out & left me to drive it home 😂
Loved my 2liter sport capri black, bucket seats etc wished I’d kept that it was in immaculate condition 😢❤
The phrase ‘bitten off more than one can chew ‘ comes to mind
well said I used to enjoy Colins videos , sadly now he has stopped checking under the bonnetts and similar as for walking past the Puma and others sheesh worse was when keith insisted on being in front of camra .
What cool cars! Love the 70's early 80's Japanese cars myself, we had a string of Corolla K30's back in the day. My dad had me as a young boy, change the brake pads and once we even stripped out the interior from one which was already rusty and about to be scrapped, into another. I say interior, I mean the seats!
Looks like a hell hole - doesn’t like bodges but is happy to have all these cars sitting in this mess. Don’t fancy taking any of my cars here 😮
Cool cars Colin m8 some really interesting rarities too ...what a place pretty cool though and the chap is well knowledged 👍
That car under the cover - I would say is an Opel Manta A series 🙂
What a place !
Hi Colin.
That's an awesome video.
I love that Cheiro's car was there & Alex's camper van was there.
Stay safe and take care.
❤❤ OMFG... WOW!!!! wat a collection of cars there... this is nothing mind blowing... god !!!! The cars that have bin left just forgotten about... thank you colin for showing us around but my god!!!... bring back hanging I say.... ;(:(:( xxxx
Good one, Colin, interesting and educational. And
Great video Colin, I wonder how long it would take him to restore all of those cars. 🥰
They do some awesome fabrication and panel repairs at YCR, some of the restorations are unreal! Racing Puma Sparco seats.. Ford had already ordered all of the seats for the 1000 car limited build of the Racing Puma...but they didn't sell all 1000 cars! So the remaining Sparco's were converted to office chairs, and could be bought for £500 per seat!!
Cheers Colin 👍
Wow loving the amazing content 🔥 dang TH-cam going crazy with the pop up adds these days lol
What another brilliant find Colin i used to own a serria cosworth 4x4 i remember selling it away bk in 1998 for 8k i wish i still had it those other cars wow very nice 👍🏻
Good saturday
How the hell can they work through all those cars. Imagine being on their waiting list.
Right! Proper mental!
❤️🇺🇸💙
I get the feeling Kieth does not really know all of what he is doing .a part from ripping people off
Step In Gullwing doors for the WIN 🎉
Id give good money for that RX7 as it is there
Great physio bearded Explorer carry on making those great videos I watched this on the 2nd of febuary 25
Team odiffat 🇸🇪
All those rx7s ......as a supra owner id still love one
Keith looks like Eddie the Eagle
👍👍👍👍
Mine is the first one on the left as you enter the workshop (White Mazda 808 Sedan, the piston version of the RX3 and the only confirmed registered 808 in the Country) next to Shmees Red (Pink) Porsche. It's been there since November and being restored, I've been advised around 11 ish Months. Out of curiosity when was this video filmed?
Always wanted to have a 94' Mazda RX-7 twin turbo American version after 94 they were banned in the US unfortunately because of the steering configuration😢
DATSUN stands for dont ask to see underneath 😂😂 i prefer the DATSUN 260
shame he is not willing to sell any
Tragic. Poor cars left to rot. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
you would be surprised at how many cars they get rebuilt, its not only Steve, but his son Ryan, and his brother Richard, plus a few others
worse he is refusing to sell any surpized he makes any money
YCR top tip. Don't take on any more cars! Lol! I thought it was a Triumph V8 in the stag. Not a V6!
This can't be a proper business, there's over a decade of work lying around there and that would be going well at it, the people that own those cars are getting free dry storage, I think that guy can't say no.
you must work in an office then ? I have spent over 50 years working with my hands, its not all pretty and laid out to please, you have to shift things around as and when
I came here to say exactly the same thing! He must do lots of "labor of love"jobs!
My brother is in the paint and body biz 40 yrs now.
He used to do restorations and customizations but now he only does late model insurance jobs. He got tired of
"When is it going to be ready?"
"How much is it going to cost"? Blah blah
He actually would say.." if someone was wanting a complete restore
and they had to ask how much, they didn't really have the money to have it done by him."! Lol!
Restomods are only done for his own vehicles!
He does show car quality. He's been in HOT ROD MAGAZINE!
59 Chevy Apache,
The Radical Grape
Beautiful truck. And fast.
It ran in the 6's at drag.
Badass ride!!
But this guy, I don't see how he makes any money!
Wonder how many works for him?
Crazy right? Lol! ❤️🇺🇸💙
@@russthebiker Actually I've been a mechanic for over 30 years, restored cars and boats in my spare time when not fixing other people's cars, I'm very aware of the time it takes to repair cars especially when they're in a state like a lot of what he has lying around there, even hunting for parts takes days or months for some stuff as it's not easily available like more modern cars, welding in new chassis and body panels is probably the most time consuming thing you could on old cars especially if you do it right, stripping them out and repainting them properly is at least a couple of months if you get a good run on it, and that's if you don't find more jobs to do when they're stripped out
I would be getting my car and the cash back and take it some where else . whilest I appreciate car restoration can take time over a year is a bit much in my book Kieth does not look like he knows what he is doing at all
@@sarahaspinallaspinall2072 hey quite with the negative waves Moriarty
Seems to be a LOT of "unfinished" projects there 🤣 Some lovely cars though
Det går att gräva ett hål och sätta ner en pump med nivå brytare ute på gården 🇸🇪
@20.34 A Warwick Peerless
The irony is, this is exactly the kind of “car graveyard” Collin would normally explore… except he’s a few years early and the bloke is still alive working on them 😂 definitely a start something and rarely finish kind of garage but some beauty’s in there nonetheless! (Edit) no hate towards the guy, just saying he’s clearly got about 10 years worth of work sat there and he’s probably still taking more on 😂
I've got a mate who's had his mx5 here for nearly two years now. One of which has just been stuck outside after he's paid for over £4k worth of repairs. Please for the love of all that's holy reconsider dealing with these people. Many customers have been totally ripped off whilst all the youtubers have have had free nut and bolt restorations.
well said this is just a rip off guy . chances are maybe he does not really know what he is really doing . thats what I think
@sarahaspinallaspinall2072 They know exactly what they are doing. The guys are clearly very highly skilled at their craft if you watch any of their videos but clearly have taken on way too much and the real customers suffer the most.
James must have the patience of a saint and has always defended them when I've asked him where his car is and how far it is from being finished.
I would have been to both trading standards and court long ago
Will, I've told you before mate...
You don't fully understand the situation, it's really not fair to the team at YCR to say that.
I had purposely waited around a year to take it to the right people and you don't understand the bigger picture, I as a customer do fully.
@@Slatex people who pay large sums of money to have their cars restored can expect it to be completed with in time frame 3 months is usually a starting point 12 is the max . after that my origional comment stands. after my experiencee with trading standards and the courts my advice is get a professional to check the work and this guys supposed qualifcations that Puma does not need restoring it is solid .
What a shame,i had an evo 6 same colour was a beast but ate clutches for dinner 🤣
Knows his cars. So many motors, where do they actually work on them.
Well I would hate to have any work done on my car as you be waiting for a long time (I will carry on doing it myself) only thing I can't do is spraying but welding and fabrication is my trade for over 25 years as the amount of cars in the workshop never mind Wats outside so if you're not in a rush looks like you can get it stored for free or the bloke is another car project horder
My husband died of lung cancer as l have mentioned before l was looking after him it was hard work watching over him nurse him till he died holding my hand till death do us part buried on 6dec 2024 it's so lonely my soulmate gone my husband l miss dearly sorry to mention this enjoy the cars u come across
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss 😔
Thank you for replying to my message .
My mate broke up and used a datsun 280z as a foundation for his garage build.😐
I think the car under the tarp is a lamborghini
Det går att täcka över en bil som står ute
Why you don’t talk about the amazing orange BMW 2800 CS ?
@@michaelsachse6809 honestly I could have spent all day there, we had to limit the cars or my video would have been 12 hours long 😅🤣
How come you did not cover the Sierra it’s the one car I was looking forward to looking at
@@kraikkonen05 don’t worry.. if you like Cosworth’s I have some very special coming soon I think you will like 😉
@ ok thank you I’m a big fan of your channel and seening that Sierra was like yes. I’m a big fan of Sierra I have 2 of my own
@ i might be getting my own one soon.. 😉
he missed more than the sierra . right past the Puma not even looked under a single bonnet
Read the comments, and stepped out the room. Not the normal Explorer upload I've waited a week to watch.
Sorry Colin.
The state of the place! why would anyone take their car here!
Just fix the red datsun
I really do like the cars but what I don't understand is how are they painting these in the open like that? They're not protecting the other cars from overspray. That is so weird. I know a lot of people that do painting restoration on vehicles and it's a room of its own just for the the paint and primer and it's all properly ventilated rooms and not done out in the open like that. I just I don't understand. This mechanics is one thing. Paint is another but I guess to each their own. I'd be love it to see that and all the more if there's a car waiting to be fixed and there's overspray all over your car. But thanks again for your exploration. I like it
they have a paint booth on site
They have a paint shop . but as you restore a car you cant keep moving the car to the paint shop every time you need to protect a new panel that's been restored so it will get primed as its restored then when the restoration is finished then it moves to the paint shop and completed properly
Right, my brothers paint booth is a down draft ventilated room! There's a open space in the floor, a fan on top in the ceiling, and a giant AF fan outside pulling the over spray out! He wears a full suit with an air tank thing on it!
He ain't playing about his finished work! Flawless, been in biz for 35+ yrs

I'm a lil proud of my brother, can you tell?

Seems like a start something and never finish garage!
Hmmm god knows what his house/ garden looks like! Seems like he has a hoarding problem….
His house looking like any one else's 2 year old house full of Tech 👌
Meh tbh.
