Her English has leveled up from like level 1 when asmonds found her to like level 4. Thats crazy growth. She reads the kanji out loud into English and responds to chat in mostly English. Good for her. Hipe it pays off and she can garner an audience
Agreed. She's obviously really passionate and really wants to expand into EN audience. That dedication is honestly really heartwarming, the level of effort she must be putting in to learn that quickly is impressive.
The most impressive thing about Kasii is the combination of hustle and awareness. She got an opportunity to break into the English sphere and took it, she was sweet to Asmon, and she's worked hard since. She obviously also understands why Henya appeals a to the EN audience and how she can do the same thing. Also, she seems just genuinely sweet.
Kasii might not be the biggest vtuber around, but she isn't that small either. 61k followers on twitch is nothing to sneeze at. I also don't think Henya selects collab partners based on follower count anyway. I think the biggest problem is them both being too shy to ask the other for a collab.

Luckily for Kasii VShojo largely lets their talent do what they want and collab with who they want and I could imagine people wanting to collab with her, especially Henya. I think Henya has said she would like to do more JP collabs. Since Henya has already raided her now, I could totally see it happening in the future.

I was hoping she would have talked to Tenma in Japanese when they played together but never did. Tenma's English is basically perfect and Henya's is so good now that she never needed to clarify with Japanese. Speaking of ....I want more Pippa, Tenma, Henya collab. Please do another!

For real when Asmond first discovered her her English was struggle bus city all the way however I just watched this stream last night and it's night and day her English is growing at an alarming rate I know in her mind she still thinks it's bad and it's probably not to the point where she could carry an actual conversation with native English speakers live. in this format she's reading it herself and translating it in her head. but that's already halfway there. she clearly is taking this seriously and wants to learn. otherwise she wouldn't be trying to do so much of her streams in English
@@pokecasual6027I mean with a lot of commitment and learning the language some people can learn can be at minimum within a month and the fact that she’s learning English from Japanese (I’m learning Japanese and let just say that translating from English to Japanese is not easy at all. For her she would have to learn the English alphabet and learn a few extra words that are not normally in Japanese on top of learning the meanings of each word because some can mean multiple things in particular sentences) is down right impressive what she’s learned within a short period of time with the English language.

Holy Kqsii's English improved really fast like, Jesus... I still remember when she can barely speak any at all..
Its easy to forget that learning a language is made up of different parts, just because you can speak it doesnt mean you can comprehend someone else speaking it, and it doesnt mean you can read it. All different skills that need to come together to become fluent!
Because Kasii is so good at speaking English, I hadn't considered that she may struggle to understand English being spoken by others

Somehow I get the feeling that Kasii isn't Japanese at all but has just given herself a "fake Japanese" dialect. I have no proof, but that is just the vibe I am getting here.
