Even while sharing such unfortunate news, she is remaining strong - she didn't need to make a video like this, but she did. It's obviously a very heartbreaking thing to go through, but she is staying strong and showing love towards everyone for supporting her. I don't blame anyone for smiling at that.

The reactions of twitch chat seem rather innapropriate for this type of video. Even if they had been participating in a rewatch of the video, I don't think its alright to start talking and bust out laughing in the chat while something like that plays in the background. Hearing her say that on camera after experiencing the loss of a family member myself, breaks my heart, and the reactions from twitch chat make me infuriated. I do not like to assume that the chat here is full of basement-dwelling hemogoblins looking the offsprings of nosferatu', but I can't help but assume such thing when seeing such level of disrespect towards the loss of someone's familiy member.
This was for the OTK top streamer competition thing they have going on and Kasii was participating, but due to a death of a close family member, she had to drop out to go visit home. She isn't quitting streaming, just the OTK competition.
