You can access Corinna via Savage River and don't need to go on the Western Explorer. It's still a dirt road but much more accessible and less potholes. The road from Arthur River would probably be fine as well with your van and is an amazing drive and very worth it, just take your time, and should be fine. Great videos, I love that you guys discuss all the spots in great detail. :)

Great, thank you so much for the advice (and the kind words)! We were a little hesitant because we had heard mixed reviews but we'll definitely have to consider making the trip out when we're in the area.

Beautiful scenery!! How long did your hike take after all that?

Very lush and green! Thankfully it was just 3 hours return and the trail was flat the entire way 😅

Awesome walk and video. As someone originally from Tassie, you pronounce Zeehan without pronoucning the ""H""in it as in zee·uhn

Thanks for the kind words and the pronunciation tip!
We really should have known that seeing as 'Wehan' is similar as it's pronounced without the 'H' 🤣

@@lydiaandwehan not a problem. I have done a few hikes mainly down south, and I highly recommend Cape Raoul which has some of the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere at around 200m, and the walk terminates at the end of the capre where you can have lunch and watch a seal colony from afar.

Oh sweet, thank you for the recommendation. Looks like an incredible spot! We haven't done much research for down South yet but need to start as we'll be heading that way soon 😅

Hi Guys, a local here... You can get to Corinna via Waratah and Savage River and Waratah is a nice little town worth checking out. The railway line behind your camp is being permanently dismantled, hasn't been used for quite a few years. Very much enjoying your Tassie videos, keep 'em coming...

Fantastic thank you! Are the road conditions ok past Savage River? We were a little worried taking the van that way, but we may have just been extra cautious since we'd only just had the black ice fiasco at Cradle Mountain.
How interesting with the railway, we had no idea... thankfully it did make our night of sleep a lot quieter though! 😴
