Thanks man. I had been waiting for this episode for a long long time. Finally it is here ! To be honest, this really brings back a lot of memories ever since I was in high school. The lady boss really nice and friendly just like last time even though she looks a bit aged slightly.

The fried rice looks sibei nice lor. I've never been there, but it looks like another destination to add to the list for our next trip down there. Also, roast pork! Chung Ling is an old famous high school in Penang. Like Hwa Chong in Singapore. Former Singapore minister of transport Khor Boon Wan was from Chung Ling high school. Coincidently, the school song music of these 2 schools are the same

A lot of ppl said the fried rice was quite bad or smth due to ordering too much lava egg which is Chung Ling Egg but I recommend set rice meal and it is really delicious I enjoy a lot

Since they have opened for 18 years, many things could've happen but thats not the point. Google review to me is based on what's the purpose of that restaurant. If it is about food, let's hope the reviews are about things related to food and the restaurant. Too bad some people use this as a way to sabotage other people. Some fake a review, some exaggerate the situation and some simply writing nonsense. Once I read a review on my previous restaurant, the person didn't review the food or anything related to the restaurant. He rate the restaurant one star because the restaurant sells foie gras and caviar. Then he go on saying about cruelty, that kind of thing.
So if this restaurant 2.8 rating is injustice. I hope someone can help that sister do something about the rating. I think we can contact the Google review and tell them the rating is not right. Can even show them this video.

Chung Ling High School alumni here. A little bit of context about Chung Ling Fried egg, it was developed by an economy Bee Hoon canteen vendor. A creative twist was pairing fries from another vendor with it. Doesn’t sound appealing but spells nostalgia for me 😂
