You should listen to the rest of the Patience album, It's really one of the best albums out of the 00's&ever. Amazing was one of the first songs he wrote for the album& he was just few yrs into his relationship w Kenny at the time which is why it's happier than usual. He said it's the most positive song he had written since Wham!'s I'm Your Man during promo back then
I agree with you. It was one of his best albums. Then again, all the albums are his best. 😊. Patience went to number 1, in I think eleven countries. This is an album that you can listen to from beginning to end and never grow tired of any of the songs.
I had this album on repeat when it came out! I still think it’s a really nice mix of up- and down-tempo tracks. I also saw him live in 2008, and was thrilled he did both this and Flawless.
Patience is his last album... very deep... I'm George fan for decades, take a look at "Flawless" sure you will love it although "Round here" is my prefer song
