I love that you also notice the band and the backing vocalists. He was a perfectionist so he chose to work with the best of the best, and you can tell. Forever grateful for his music while I was growing up (and grown!). Always gone too soon ❤.
If you couldn't tell, George was a perfectionist. He always had the best backing vocals in the business and the arrangement of the instruments that he put together himself was always perfection. Miss George so much. Thank you for keeping his music alive.
George Michael had one of the most beautiful voices in pop history. But I agree with you. Now we need some more upbeat live performances. And I tell you again, try George‘s live performance of Killer/Papa was a rolling stone. It‘s amazing.
I can't make you love me....This is a cover he did its not his...but George was king of covers...he made the song his own...to me the most beautiful live voice ever... George voice was the most unique beautiful velvet soul voice..and always with so much emotion...i love him from the day of wham and will never stop ... George always goos trou my soul when he sings...still need to here him everyday...the world is such a lonier place without him...such a beautiful soul..my beautiful angel..i.will miss you forever ❤❤❤🙏🥀 Please watch the long and winding road..cover he did from Paul McCartney at the linda Mc Cartney tribute....its so beautiful...❤
George's music is my religion that I go to several times a day every day. I miss our beautiful man every single day 💜 Sitting here now listening to George has brought the tears yet again. I truly believe that George was an angel in disguise 💜
Few things make you realise what we've lost more than listening to George Michael, both the music and the man. For every inch of his greatness as a singer, he matched it as a person. Sure, he was a little flawed and troubled, but, in Oxfordshire (and the Berkshire area), where he lived, there are countless stories that have emerged since his death about his very quiet and thoughtful generosity to local charities and community groups. A community group would be raising money for, say, a gravel wetland beside the Thames, they'd have £3k of £10k needed, and completely anonymously £7k would be given. Many years later, post death, this emerges as a donation from him. Our local papers were filled with these stories for months after his death. I wonder how many more fund raisers for church roofs, school bulkings, food banks and families he just helped for not a bit of sought recognition or thanks? the stories only came out because people sworn to secrecy couldn't help say what he'd done after his death. Thank you and RIP George Michael.
I was at the 25 Live Tour concert in Copenhagen, and I'll never ever forget his performance of Careless Whisper. 50.000 people in the audience and George, singing that song together. I have never cried so much at any other show in my entire life! It was a stunning moment ❤. I still can't watch it on video without sobbing. All these 4 videos made me tear up, it's so painful watching him play live on video, knowing that I'll never get to see him on a stage again 💔😭. There will never ever be anybody like him ever again (as much as I love Morten Harket and A-ha, not even they can measure up) and he left a hole in my heart. Thank you for choosing George! 💜
I still can't believe George is gone. It just doesn't feel real. My musical idol since 1983 (yes, showing my age). I saw him with Wham in concert that year (October 1983) and will never forget it. I'll always adore George. His beautiful, pitch perfect, silky smooth, emotive, angelic voice. His wit and intelligence, his laugh, his wonderful heart. RIP George, I miss you.
What a talent and what a loss! The live version of A Different Corner has got to be one of the best performance’s of all time! What a voice. Miss you George
I wanted to say this too…. His passing was so sad for his family and fans. But I often think of how tragic it was for these musicians and singers, who worked so beautifully and at such a high level with him. He was irreplaceable and must have left a big hole in their hearts.
At the end of that performance of 'You have been loved' he greets his mother who was in the audience & only a few months after that performance, she died of cancer
Just when I think I couldn’t adore you harder, you do this!!!! “I Can’t Make You lLove Me” live is my absolute favorite George Michael. He was such a master of nuance and soul. Thank you thank you thank you for your appreciation and insight.
This unplugged set of I can't make you love me was just beautiful. His voice is flawless and so passionate. The band and backup vocalists just add to entire performance. He was a once in a lifetime performer. I miss him so much ❤❤❤
You have been loved was Diana's favorite song from the Older album. I was at the Earl's Court concert and that night was magical as were all the other shows I have seen. I loved the Symphonica tour most because he could finally play my favorite song live; Cowboys and Angels!
Good selection. I would have taken the live version of Careless Whisper from either Live in China or Rock in Rio, but this version has something too. For live version of faster songs I suggest Killer/Papa Was A Rollin' Stone, Fast Love, Freedom'90 or Star People.
You should check out his live performance at the Concert for Hope in 1993. This was a concert for AIDS charities that Diana, Princess of Wales asked him to perform at. His entire set was perfection, and he introduces Diana during the concert. They were good friends. Diana died right after George had lost his mother. He was an absolute mess at Diana's funeral. He had lost his friend Freddie Mercury, his partner Anselmo Feleppa, his mum Lesley and then Diana in a span of about 5 years or so. It was a horrible period for him. All of his performances in this concert are amazing but I will point out 3 that I really love... Killer/Papa was a Rolling Stone, Freedom 90 and Love Is in Need of Love today. I have watched those performances over and over again when I need a GM fix!
Oh George 😢❤ he really had the most stunning voice. His unplugged performances were amazing. So much raw emotion. On the day he died the radio station played nothing but his songs as a tribute. I still cry when i hear ‘you have been loved’ 😭💔 xx
Bryson you done me proud I've listened to George sing these countless times and I don't tire of them his voice is stunning and he is of course,it is a cover I personally think it's better,he hadn't sang Different corner for 17yrs until that night, thank you so much I suggest Concert of hope 1993 it was a charity event for aids George did a lot of those and it's live I could see you really listening I shall look forward to the next one's 😊💜
Thank-you! 🤗🥰 I am a HUGE George fan, but i had never heard that version of different corner before, and i sprang a leak... 😭😭😢😢🤣😂 The "angelic quality" to this version just opened the floodgate's... and i agreed with you wholeheartedly.. "Just when you think that song couldn't touch you more deeply"😭😭😭 So thank-you for that moment.. love, light and peace.. 🤗🥰🕯💓😇🙏😇💗🕊
Yay A Different Corner (Parkinson) mind blowing, one of the backing singers on that (the one on our right) is called Shirley Goss, she is married to actor & drummer in the group Bros with his twin brother Matt, Luke Goss.
Gold voce .Hallo my friend after ocean Marsh .How are you ? Long time im not was here .Complications for me but now om ok .I hope you are fine and im glad for you Very special reaction .Thanks for that .In fact , you have very best reaction .You are wonderful my friend .Carry your self .I wish you have good days in future .Bye my dear friend after the ocean .So long .
How brilliant of you to do a collection of live vocals. You’re very unique as a reactor because you go off the beaten path. It would be very exciting for his fans to have you react to his concerts. Symphonica, Concert for Hope,, and there’s so many more. I know this requires longer reaction time but maybe there could be a way. Thank you for keeping him alive. When you feature him like this, he comes back even for a brief moment. 😢
Thank you so much for this. He is just so wonderful. I love this man and his music more than I can say♥️ He is missed and there will never be anyone like him again .. ever. Love you George🌹
This was the man whose first US solo concert tour was based entirely on covers of his favorite songs. Imagine the range - the genres he covered - of songs originally performed by both male and female singers. And he was barely 25. He was trounced by critics who wanted to hear his Wham songs. But that's GM. Musically, always his own man. The courage and conviction though! Most of GM's backing singers have been with him for years, some almost from the beginning of his solo career. There are interviews on YT of some of them sharing that wherever they were, whatever they were doing, they would drop everything and come running when he called. Because. It was GM. None better professionally. And he was such a joy to work with ... If you're looking for more of his live performances, look at his Rio concert (he met Anselmo at one of the performances). THAT Careless Whisper is for the ages. Also, of course, the Hope concert.
I was at that concert in Earl's Court at the end (Careless Whisper). It was a great concert. Sadly they demolished that venue a few years ago, but I still have the memories and videos! I'd love it if you could react to more of his live performances. One I think you may enjoy is Brother Can You Spare A Dime, either from NetAid Wembley Stadium 1999, or from the Pavarotti and Friends concert a couple of years after. I was also in the audience at the NetAid concert too, and his voice sounded incredible! Best wishes to you, love your reactions!
Six years already and once again I’m working nights at a N/Home. On the morning of his passing my darling son waited for me to get home from work. I burst out crying when he told me😢
I'm not sure if you know You have been loved was about Anselmo the first part is about Anselmos mum and the second part is George it's a beautiful song I could see you listening very intently, he sings ballads with so much emotion and cos it's a true story it's just so sad but beautiful,I also love this version of Different corner ♥️😊

Stunning,I'm still coming to terms with the fact that we have lost some of the greats in recent years ,George Michael being one.

Tears in my eyes listening to my favorite singer 😘 of all times

He is just utter perfection, never more so than on this unplugged set. Absolutely...flawless.

Absolutely. Such a tragic record full of grief. Yet wonderful.
