Good afternoon, how are you ? Do you hire employees from other countries to work in your company? I have experience with high pressure pumps and also in hydrojetting. I would like an opportunity.
It’s actually very efficient considering sand blasting was the alternative. The only cleanup after this was paint chips instead of thousands of pounds of sand.
@@sydpix paint does not come off 100% what about rust after water? do you want sandblasting after? in my eyes I was a bit disappointed. I have various sandblasting equipment and am considering a 2000 bar+ high-pressure cleaner, but it must provide value for me. from what I see, sandblasting will make it faster and nicer. Of course, I don't know the paint you're working on, so maybe I'm wrong. was just a little disappointed
@@danmark1849 - because of the working parts on the antenna, sand blasting wasn’t an option. There were too many bearings and switches that the Goverment didn’t want sand in. I think sand blasting is better overall too, it just wasn’t an option here
@@danmark1849- Also, I view it this way. If paint doesn’t come of with 30k psi, it’s never coming off. The primary use for this was to removed lose paint, and rust scaling and do so without and sand particles affecting any sensitive instruments.
Union Painter here, as I can say this paint was not the correct paint to begin with, Total failure like this is not a spec primer/epoxy, topcoat should be a epoxy or Urethane, diffendly house paint on this structure, I only mention Union painter because that's where knowledge falls into place, Paint should never just wash off, I have used the turbo tips on blasters ,they cut very cut, but blowing the surface clean like this video shows what cheap paint does
-X-Union painter here. This is 20,000 psi blasting. Not sure if you’re familiar with that but it will cut through a 4x4 in 2 seconds. It will most certainly cut through epoxy finishes like butter....
Respected sir, it's 36,000 psi to 40,000 ultra high pressure blasting, I think..but still the coating doesn't seem to have any primer or anit corrosive paint.
Union painter here, this was years of accumulated urethane paint the cracked because of extreme temperatures and ocean salt caused it to rust. It was ultra high pleasure washed, treated with anti-flash rusting agent, primed and two coated with industrial grade urethane.
Also, you need to understand this is 30k psi blasting. This type of blasting cuts through concrete in seconds and if this tip was held in one place for longer than 3 minutes, it would have actually cut through the steel.

the paint is there to prevent rusting, who ordered this?
The government... it’s a communications antenna.
The United States Goverment. After this was complete, the entire antenna was primed and recoated with polyurethane paint.
Regardless of the paint brand and quality, the steel below will rust.
You will never stop steel from rusting, all we can do is slow it down.
