The decorum of our institution is important to maintain a proper environment for debate and discussion. Using words like minions and liar is subjective and quite frankly a childish bully tactic. Use facts and truth to make your point, not lower the standard of our government to a childish standard.
Conservatives were doing better but I feel them slipping back into a more extreme style of politics that I just can't stomach.
Lying and avoiding the question should be a chargeable offence in parliament consisting of some percentage of their net worth and jail time with enough repeated offences.

I agree, we need major changes to our system from how inquiries are run to if a MP (or PM) breaks ethics laws they are removed and an automatic RCMP investigation is launched with real consequences (for all parties).

Well what's the use of high taxes if there is no major company to pay this taxes? Carbon foot print of Canada is at least 20x less then China's. No we are not hurting either. Its just enough of this clown town show where $80 billions is getting spent on things that Canadians will have to pay back in the next 20 years. This should be a crime to borrow $$$ from our kids future. If he can't do things on the budget then someone else should try at it. Someone who has a better understanding than borrow money for projects that will not pay back. Here a basic rule he could have used. If no at least 15% return on a dollar then do not do it. Let the money back to CAD and local market will get a better use of it.
No Peter, I haven’t been in a coma. I never was interested in politics though…. But seeing I’ve had my medical choices tampered with, my mortgage and cost of living increased dramatically, I’ve been told when I can come and go and when/if I can see my friends… now these creeps have my attention.

@@petercullen1624 Conservatives have not been in power in the last 8 years, so no they have not cut any federal social security programs, and honestly 8 years ago, things were much much different and better than they are today in this country, if you cant see that you are blind or ignorant. The cost of living, the amount of homeless back then pales in comparison to today. When the next election happens and if the Conservatives are voted in and if they cut a bunch of social security programs, then by all means make your statement. The years of the harper govt are long over, this is a new Conservative party, and should be given the chance to try and fix what the libs have done to this country, which is teetering on the brink of being totally broken in every way. These insane house prices need to stop. Enough is enough and I am sick and tired of even people who make over $150,000 household salary living paycheck to paycheck and live in very middle class looking houses. Not even 10 years ago people making that much money would be living in mansions.

Things were definitely not "awesome" during the 10 years that Conservatives were last in power. They had the worst economic & jobs performance of any CDN Gov since WW2. They inherited a $12 billion surplus and turned it into a deficit in less than 2 years (before the 2008 recession hit.) The price of housing went up 60%.
