You can’t cook steak with butter, if you crank up the heat the butter will burn and if you keep it low you won’t get a good sear before it overcooks. People cook with a neutral oil and baste with butter once the have a good sear.
@@TVFlix yeah, some often used oil I'd tried it too, but more tastier to used butter for me and if you can get the right temperature you can have a good one. Anyway thank you for the comment.
@@mumjcvlog0218 Remember that you could use beef tallow or even a bit of fat from the steak itself (if it has enough), then baste with butter towards the end after getting a good sear. Your steak will taste better if you do it this way because you'll get a better crust, and beef fat won't change the flavour of the steak (unless you buy wagyu fat or something).
