That "Nicely done, Kitana" honestly gives me "proud dad" vibes.
Since Shao adopted her in the previous games it's possible this version did similar, albeit maybe acting as a proper parent in his timeline.
It's an interesting thought.
I'd honestly be down for Shao to get his heroic redemption arc. He looked awesome and the fact there is a timelime where he is heroic is actually pretty cool.

There is more than one timeline with a good Bi-Han because there were multiple Bi-Han's fighting on Liu Kang's side.
Something I've learned from being an MK fan is that no matter what we are always destined to end up back at this damn tower.

I love how this line still encapsulates Shao's prideful nature, mixed with his not-as-hostile demeanour towards Liu Kang in this circumstance, while also delivering a signature comment with "finish them" at the end!
It's also pseudo-revenge for what happened in DA

Ngl, I really like the "good" appearance for Reiko and Shao. Especially Reiko. He looks cool as hell.
Most good side skins feel like roman greek adjacent, Havik, Reiko, Shao all have the same kind of shirt robe thing (Idk what they are called)
As for Reiko i really also like the good side appearance more than regular Reiko, tho i have yet to figure out where tf is that hairstyle in game (if its shrine im gonna complain ngl)

I love the idea that there's a timeline where Havik's Chaos lead to a more peaceful and table timeline than any other...and he tells Fire God Liu Kang that Chaos blesses him as such
Maybe he uses his chaos to create a place for when the realm really need it?

I believe that this is the OG timeline Havik, in which hes generally just, pretty fuckin' mellow and just likes to cultivate chaos in his own way. NRS timeline Havik was evil, OG Havik was just "I like chaos. Order and control lead to dictatorship."

2:57 Shao being the Kahn that we always knew him for
I’m so glad I chose Johnny. It felt the most natural, almost like it was made for him all the way until the part where they reveal it’s an alternate Johnny instead of the one from the rest of the game. The moments where he faces evil versions of his future wife and daughter, and getting rescued by his own alternates were so perfect.
That should be a skin mistake, there is no reason for Johnny to be a different one that the original. To me, a few ones are "reasonable" choices. Mileena, Kung Lao, Johnny, Kenshi, Kuai Liang (that scar is so damn cool), maybe even the reformed Shang Tsung fits. But I feel that this ending is totally made for Raiden. It makes sense, Earthrealm's champion, winner of the tournament, the most powerful not Titan. And he is also in the final cutscene, where he says "We defeated Shang Tsung". That's the best one.

A missed opportunity here, Alternate Liu Kang that was brought from another timeline should have been mortal one. It would be great to see God Liu Kang and classic mortal liu kang teaming up

As someone who has literally grown up with this franchise, IMO, this was the best story thus far. Though I don’t care to hear “TiMeLInE” anymore 😂, it opens up so many fun possibilities with these characters moving forward. MK’s story has always been cheesy (people tend to forget that) but I’m all here for it! Can’t wait to see wtf Lord Havik is about to do 💀.

Havik and Nitara is Unlocked after you finish 1st try or 1st attempt story mode. They kinda neutral only their monstrosity look made them looks evil,
Shao, Reiko, and Rain its Impossible to teamed up with liu kang. But maybe this is Shao, Reiko and Rain from MkVsDc Universe who they are in 1 allign.
Maybe try Shao, Kung Lao, Raiden or Mileena its kinda hilarious see Shao, KungLao, Raiden and Mileena fighting their evil counterpart.
Shang Tsung be like "i'm you why are you helping them?"

Shang Tsung would stand against Shang Tsung if doing so provided Shang Tsung some sort of advantage.

Not only did they do Armageddon's intro, they echoed back to Raiden vs The Deadly Alliance and Lui Kang vs Shang Tsung in MD:DA's intro. At one point I think even Shang Tsung and Zombie Lui Kang's hand to hand is repeated.
The second half of the game, literally from the moment Titan Shang Tsung shows up, it's paralleling the 3D era games.
If you're thinking "But what about Onaga?" The prophecy of his return has come to pass. We've seen the Terracotta Army, Shang Tsung's Portal to The Heavens has been found. Reptile stopping the culling of his race's shapeshifters is now how Onaga will have a vessel. Reiko's ending I firmly believe is an unreliable narrator moment, you can not "tame" Onaga.
Onaga is more powerful than Titan Shang Tsung and Titan Lui Kang. And I will die on that hill.
Edit: And we know from Kung Lao's ending that Shujinko's likely been broken off from his original "destiny." To me, that ending felt like Shujinko was being influenced by The One Being.
But the battle of Armageddon can't conclude with just Onaga. WHAT ABOUT BLAZE?
Shang Tsung technically Onagaed himself and Quan Chi. If you caught the name of the Kronika lookalike disguise he used was Damashi so either Shang Tsung was alluding to Onaga or more likely imo him and Onaga both like Japanese word puns and used the word for "Decieve" (Damashi) as their name for shits and giggles.
I don't think Onaga is as strong as a Titan but they mentioned a titan Onaga who likely comes from the deception ending where he fused with the realms
i dont think Onaga is that powerful, Shao Khan didnt have an issue finishing him when Shao poisoned Onaga in the original timeline..... thats how Shao Khan became Khan

For Raiden, Quan-Chi, and Shang Tsung to struggle even slowing him down is an incredible feat. They are amped from the Soulnado, Shinnock's Amulet, and even after Raiden's Vegeta Final Explosion moment he survived without a scratch. That's the point of him, he's an immovable force of nature. He's the closest thing to a Titan we'd seen before
Seeing them all in succession like this really hits different compare to other videos. Shao, Shang Tsung, Reiko, Havik, Tanya in a way, even Sub Zero, seeing them all genuinely repsecting Liu Kang is not easy to digest.

just some dialouge i came up with
It's like Megan Fox got bored during her delivery, Her half of the dialogs feels like she's about to roll her eyes and gonna sleep anytime. It's opposite than Rounda.... Atleast even though Rounda's delivery was worse but was entertaining ... She made us laugh. Megan's delivery isn't bad but feels directionless.
I like how some characters from this Lui Kang’s timeline get “sent back” to their timeline, which they already are in.
Lui Kang be like to his own Kenshi:
“I’ll see you again when our timelines intertwine again.”
Kenshi be like: “Umm Lui Kang, you do realize I’m the Kenshi you created right?”
Him, Raiden, Johnny, Kung Lao, Ashrah, Li Mei, Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Syzoth, Baraka, Kuai Liang, Smoke, Tanya, and Geras are all from Liu Kang's timeline, which definitely makes things interesting in this chapter 😂

What I didn't realise when first watching MK1; these aren't necessarily the characters you played through the game as; Liu Kang talking to himself pointed this out to me.
Since he always sends them back to "your" timeline and not "our", I think this says something.
@@sansanichalexandroff8913 It's weird though, the characters who would already justifiably fight for Liu Kang in his own timeline use their main timeline designs when you pick them for the chapter, despite having alt timeline designs shown in the intro cutscene, which would imply that they're the same ones. Maybe he just wanted to be on the safe side and not be too specific since it was the heat of the moment and he had had a whole army of them to keep track of.

Most of the good characters except Liu Kang himself and Sindel are from the MK1 story
Most of the villains except Shang Tsung (who is from MK1 story) are from other timelines
I hope the dlc characters will get a chance in this
I realise how most of Evil character that are on Liu Kang Good side most wearing a light white gold/metalic armour/shoulder pad so you know they the good one and not evil
Especially Shao where he didn't wear his skull helmet so everyone knows he the good guy

I really wish they made Shao an anti-hero and not a villain again (Stock one at that), he has a lot of potential as a character. Hopefully in a DLC or sequel, he gets some positive character development.
Shao Kahn is basically Hulk. And Shang tsung thinks hes thanos but is Loki instead. Havik is Red skull

This game's story was fckin fantastic. It pays respect to older moments in the series. It rewrote characters to make them way better. Reptile, Baraka, Millena, Sindel and many more are way better in this one.

Just my humble opinion but i think the character that fill's in the role perfectly story wise as liu kang's Armagedom champion its Sindel.
She has a very heartwatming interaction with Titan Kitana, which is our main story liu kang's love interest and she was really heartbroken once she knew her mother's true color's which made this interaction more soothing for her.
Also she was a close friend to main story liu kang which made's her goodbye a little bit melancholic when he says " may we one day meet again " given that his Sindel its dead.
Just my humble opinion but all of then are great specially the one's that in the main storyline are villians, this mortal kombat has the best storyline so far ❤
When it showed Kenshi I thought for a moment he was gonna say "who the hell did that?"

This gives me an idea for a mmorpg where players can become customizable versions of Mortal Kombat characters. In it you are a part of Liu Kang's army from across timelines as you protect all timelines from Titan Shang Tsung.
I wonder if they’ll let us use Omni man Homelander and peacemaker in this chapter
I feel like they have to because they give you a choice on the roster. However, one major flaw using homelander or Omni man in this scene is they could literally fly to the top instead of using the stairs. If they make them use stairs instead of using their flight would totally be stupid and silly at the same time

why there are so many versions of this part of the story mode ? it matters which character you choose or what ?
The entire ending is based on MK Armageddon's intro. Many of the scenes are identical in choreography, the hands being thrown atop the Pyramid of Argus are *Identical* to the battles in MK:DA and MK:D's into.
The crowd where you choose is a modernization of an iconic promo art that showed the entire Armageddon roster. Most likely it was Geras with him canonically but I hope it's left ambiguous. It's just a way to let you choose who you play as.
However every single character ending is canon (with potentially an unreliable narrator or two)
