Brooke grills Ridge to find out which line, or more precisely, which of their daughters, he will side with. Sally comes up with a back-up plan in case Ridge cuts the Hope for the Future line. Steffy asks Hope to do the right thing and step down. When Hope tells Brooke about the conversation, Brooke becomes upset, believing that Steffy is doing this to get back at Hope for marrying Liam.

All Steffy asked of Hope was to back out of the additional funding. Hope on the other hand demanded that Steffy leave Forrester Creations entirely when she was pregnant with Aspen. She told her to leave the company and go be a Spencer. She told her to go and work at Spencer Publications with Bill and Liam. Why Hope doesn't take her own advice now and go be a Spencer. After all her name is now Hope Logan Spencer. So why doesn't she go and work with Bill and Wyatt. Like I said all Steffy asked of Hope was to back out of the additional funding. She never asked her to leave the company. Hope got to stay. Steffy was made to suffer in silence. She had come to work every day and watch Hope parading around the office with her belly. All giggly and happy, touching her stomach every two minutes, reminding the whole world that she was having Liam's child.
