Steffy calls Ridge concerned what might happen now that Taylor has left to meet Brooke. Brooke attempts to remain calm during her conversation with Taylor but breaks when Taylor insults Hope. Hope convinces Liam that inviting Steffy is the right thing to do. Steffy leans on her father for support of her choices.
The role of Taylor played by Hunter Tylo for 30 years should’ve never been recast.
Well Hunter Tylo wasn't interested in reprising the character. She felt that the character of Taylor had been trashed beyond repair.

@@RealTalk1411 we really don’t know the full details because we haven’t heard from Hunter. Perhaps she didn’t want to return because of the same repetitive and juvenile SLs including how she was treated. If they presented a better offer, SL and equal onscreen time perhaps she may have reconsidered.

Brooke and Taylor get on my nerves. If the girls are fine with things, they have no reason to complain. Hope and Steffy are adults and mothers now, they don't need interference from their own unstable mothers
I think it's very difficult when the mothers have been at war for years. It's all just people with feelings. Yes, they should think about their daughters here and what they want. But their own injuries still have feelings in them.

And now please don't use the phrase "that wasn't in the back". Because looking someone in the face and shooting is pretty crazy.
@nadine müller That is typical again. Taylor intentionally drove towards Darla by car. For sure. It was wrong that she drank, but what about when Brooke slept drunk in the car and her children were home alone? It is bad, but when you are drunk you are not accountable. Legally, this is a traffic accident with a death (like Rick's) and not a murder. And yes, wanting to shoot Bill is very crazy and should be treated. And of course there are special circumstances. When someone threatens or blackmailed your own children. She has experienced this whole story first-hand. It got stuck in her head at some point.
@Sara Zimmermann What was made of Taylor's role is bad. I don't apologize for this. I also don't like Taylor anymore. What became of her is catastrophically and psychologically completely unstable. Just like Thomas. I only compare her to the past, when she really was a strong, self-confident woman. There are so many situations in which people have done wrong, no one can exonerate themselves here. Everyone says today how nice Eric and Quinn are together: hey, what did Quinn do all psychopath things?

You have gotta rewatch those old episodes. RIDGE didn't keep going back to Brooke because he loved her more or wanted her...He kept going back to Brooke because of Rick and Bridgette but once he was made aware that Bridgette wasn't his he went back to his wife;Taylor. And let not talk about how her and Thorne ran interference to keep Tidge from knowing Taylor was pregnant with Thomas. #TeamTridge story was always much more about love and passion than his relationship with Brooke. Ridge first choice was always Caroline but once she died his choice became Taylor even after Caroline dying wish was for him to be Brooke. Ridge may have chosen Brooke for current situation but Taylor always came first in heart before Broken Smother. Broken is just there because Taylor...like Steffy stopped wishing he would stop flip flopping and being manipulated by those Hoegans. Even though she did try to tell him before she left on her doomed flight. But she decided that she could hold it any longer;TAYLOR did tell him in a letter but Instead of her Father giving it to Ridge..he told Stephanie about it and she was gonna give it to Ridge but that's when news of Taylor's flight crashed and Stephanie didn't want Ridge to be haunted or Taylor's "memory" to be tarnished. Especially since he had lost Caroline so suddenly. She knew it would break Ridge. So Stephanie swore Taylor's father to secrecy and she never told Ridge of Taylor's letter of confession. So when he decided 4 yrs later that he could forgive the act but not her telling him..🤨😱🤦🏽♀️ That was so b.s. And let's get one thing corrected...Brooke did try numerous time of lying and trying to take Ridge from his home with Taylor. She lied for years about Bridgette paternity possibly not being accurate but she did it at all cost to keep Ridge even though she was already married to Eric 🤦🏽♀️😱🤭🤭 This DESTINY she always cry about was and is never genuine or true love...she had to manipulate and lie the entire time in order to get him because she knew if it wasn't for her kids he would leave her faster than you can say Obsession. In fact that what he did over and over again. Did you know that once he left Taylor for some crap that happened 4 yrs prior...he tried to get back with her and the kids tried to get them back together but Taylor said NO!🤫😜😉🤷🏽♀️👸🏻😌😌✌🏽
Hope didn't "steal" Liam. He's a person. With his own brain and he makes his own choices. He could have chose to fight for Steffy back but he chose to marry Hope instead. Yes, Steffy told him too but Liam has a choice in the matter. He wants to marry Hope. Taylor gets on my nerves. Brooke didn't "steal" Ridge either. Again, he is a human being with the capability of making choices and he chose to be with Brooke.
I don't get why Taylor and Brooke need to argue about this. Didn't they have enough of the arguing when they were young fighting over Ridge? Hope and Steffy are fine with each other at this point. Steffy doesn't want to be with Liam anymore. She was tired of his indecisiveness. Let Hope and Liam be together and support your daughters. UGH.

The difference between Brooke/Taylor and Hope/Steffy is Hope and Steffy tried to be more mature than their mothers with the family feuds.
Steffy not only abused Hope emotionally. She started every war they were in. She targetted Hope for being a Logan since Hope was like 16 years old...

Ridge raised Hope since she was a little girl so it was natural that he loved her and he didn't let Steffy abuse her just because she is his daughter. This Ridge let's it happen and compliments his daughter when she schemes, lies and sleeps around.

The problem with Hope is that she never could believe that Liam truly loves (not LOVED) but loves Steffy. Steffy always acknowledged that Liam loves Hope. Hope always thought she was his only love. Big mistake....she will find out in the future bc Steffy and Liam are not done. Every marriage was an annulment. After all they have gone thru they don't get to stay together for a couple of years?? Hope and Liam's shelf life is about done. They have been together for about 4 years now. They are extremely boring together.

Liam and Hope slept together prior to Kelly being born as a result of Bill’s schemes and manipulation of Wyatt + Liam not believing Steffy when he confronted her about it believing that there was still an ongoing affair happening with Bill. Liam told Steffy it was over and he was filing the annulment papers, he then told Hope he wanted to be with her, proposed and then they slept together. Hope didn’t climb on top of herself and get herself pregnant - Liam was a willing participant! He is just as responsible as she is - and she never claimed she “didn’t mean” to get pregnant, it’s on both Hope and Liam to use protection to prevent pregnancy but clearly they didn’t!
@@lollypopjay She actually did claim that she didn't mean it. If you watch the first few episodes after she finds out, she'll say that it wasn't planned, she wasn't expecting it, blah blah blah. She basically tried to play the innocent flower even though she should’ve known it was a possibility to get pregnant.

What history repeating itself is Taylor even talking about? What she and Brooke went through with Ridge is different. Sure Taylor didn't have to scheme to be with Ridge. She didn't have to constantly lie and use someone's help to break up Bridge first. The way they ended was also not really due to Brooke, but due to Taylor's old lie and Sheila Carter shooting her years ago... With Steffi and Hope the case is that Steffy first ran after Hope's first boyfriend and later Hope's fiance and used her ex lovers help to destroy Hope's happiness. Even lately she schemed to break Hope's relationship. In the past Brooke was more the aggressor (even if she was with Ridge first). In this scenario Steffy is the aggressor and she should be a good mom and tell Steffy to stop being toxic...
Taylor never had to scheme because Stephanie did it for her. Remember how Stephanie destroyed the letter in which Taylor confessed to her fling with James!

I get that Steffy wants to be accommodating but this is ridiculous. How is this for Kelly? The baby is only weeks old and Hope's child is not even born yet. They have time to figure out how to make this work without Steffy having to humiliate herself going to Hope's and Liam's wedding. This whole story line seemed like it was an attempt to subvert Steffy's character to try to make Hope and Liam shine.
The marriages never worked because Steffy, Bill, Ridge, Taylor and Old Stephanie were constantly interfering in their relationship and it weakened them.

I think Brooke was low key using reverse psychology on Taylor. She knows all too well that Taylor doesn't want herself or Steffy to go to this wedding but she wants to honor her daughters wishes so she's trying to make it seem like it would be in everyone's best interest if they stayed away. Knowing Taylor, she will do the opposite of what Brooke wants. Ergo, she will attend the wedding with Steffy.
