I truly do not understand how anyone can criticize the 720 jig. I have used the 320 for 10 yrs, i am a very low to medium skilled part time hobbyist. At first when i bought it i was skeptical about spending the $150 for this. Now i have built a few outdoor projects from Kreg website, this thing rocks. I just drilled 40 pocket holes in like 6 minutes , if that long. It would have taken me a hour to set up every hole to be drilled. The ease of the clamping, the setup, the on board storage. Dont hesitate to get this.
OMG!!! Took up woodworking during covid. my father was a shop teacher but unfortunately he's since passed and not here to see my creations...bought a Kreg Pocket Jig...it's is by FAR my favorite tool in my shop. How did I ever live without it? Found using a vacuum with the jig makes a huge difference in drilling the holes.
Very interesting. I own at least three generations of the Kreg jig, going all the way back to a solid metal version and they just keep getting better. Scott
This surpasses any Pocket hole jig on the market, massive congratulations to Kreg for always being innovative & honest to help DIYers accomplish best results 👍👍👍
Well said Dirk! I hear the metric version is already on route to us here in Australia, should arrive not long after the US launch. Thanks for thinking of us @Kregtool!
I was about to upgrade my K4 to K5 but this announcement saved me. I picked it up today. It is a nice machine. Built 3 drawers with it today. I l like it👍
The integration with the vacuum hose makes a big difference when drilling. I think the Kreg Tools generally are well designed, easy to use and work as intended. You can't beat that combo.
Here's what you say. "It will literally save my life; scientifically proven." "It has been found that depression shortens life span and I can confirm to you that not acquiring this new jig is just depressing." Trust me, works every time.
At this time 1 1/2″ is the thickest recommended material for the Pocket-Hole Jig 520 and Pocket-Hole Jig 720/720PRO. If thicker material is needed, please use the Kreg Jig HD that offers twice the joining strength over the standard Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig.
It does not look compatible with the HD Screws, AS I can use with my current Kreg jig with the HD drill bit and 2" thick lumber?? I Use these a lot for building garden projects.
Does it look like a good product? Yes. The problem is you guys did such a good job on the K5 so what now? Would I upgrade a k5 for this? No I don't see any real genuine value. Now if I was just getting into pocket holes, yes this is the one I would go for.
Geez, could have used that new sliding scale on the back for my last project ... would have saved a lot of time on trial and error on some stock width that was neither 3/4 or 1/2 inch.
Have most of the previous versions but not the K5 or the K4. I think it was call the R3 pocket jig and smaller one so had numerous smaller issues with these cheapest versions...lol, of course. However after testing this unit, glad to have something that gets rid of the nuances the others had if you weren't perfect in set up. Was thinking of gettting Kreg Foreman but that one is over twice the price! Getting ready to try out on 3/4 maple face frame for some cabinets i'm installing... woo hoo!
On the Pocket-Hole Jig 720/720PRO, the jig will adjust automatically to the correct position with Automaxx® one-motion clamping. Please do not forget to adjust the depth collar to the material thickness of your workpiece, which does include the 3/4".
The 720PRO works with material 1/2" to 1 1/2" thick. We also released a new XL pocket-hole jig today that is specifically designed for 2x4 and 4x4 projects that you might be interest in: www.kregtool.com/shop/pocket-hole-joinery/pocket-hole-jigs/kreg-pocket-hole-jig-xl/KPHJ920.html
@@KregToolCompany Thanks! If you send me one to review, that would be great. :)I could do a full video review as I have a project coming soon that I could get a lot of insight on the versatility. I have the K-4 and like it, this one would be a great upgrade for me. The shaving extraction looks very clean.

Great to hear!
I was expecting a $300 price tag. I can't believe this is $150. Great price. I've had one of those mini Kregs for 6-7 years. Excellent product.
Nice! I like that auto adjust clamp.
Dang now I want another pocket hole jig.

I have a K4 and a K5 system as well as a bunch of other Kreg products but damn this one is nice, ok just take my money already. Great video as well.
Wow! This will be in my wish list.
This literally fixes everything I hate about the previous models. Good thing I didn’t buy that k5 yet. Can’t wait for this to be in-stock.
I just bought the k5 black Friday. Now I hate that I did.
Lot of innovations here.
I would love to do a review on this! I love my 320.

Does the height adjustment jig support metric?
There is also a metric version.
