@@ritchiewalker6194 Well, officially mine is a liftback but has a 4 door sedan size body so for a single comment I summarised. Re-read. I was referencing my own '93 Toyota Corona with 2" lift, STI Speedlines, suspension, brakes, fully balanced internals. My short comment though was "stoked, from a kinda similar car owner". Anyway later bro. This has motivated me to edit some of my own car footage, how about you?
Hey mate, Don't usually comment on videos at all, But this one feels nostalgic similar to an old VHS vlog, Love the vibe and how the 944 is treated like an old friend aswell, awesome stuff mate
Thankyou! That was definitely the vision. Moving somewhere where I didn't know anyone but my car definitely creates a very personal connection. Cheers!
Been working most of my life as a recording engineer in Australia. Self employed for a lot of it, played in bands, even shot and edited my own recording studio documentaries when I was doing it all for my own band in my studio (that content creator, social media grind side of being in a band haha), I wrote a tonne of music too but fell into the insurance industry when I had a kid and needed to make ends meet. I've been working closely with mechanics and manage accounts for a lot of the biggest mechanics in Brisbane, Queensland and I've been absolutely fighting the urge to buy a project car after seeing these incredible garages with beautiful cars in them. It's naturally led me to car TH-cam and I started watching this video feeling like I was watching a video of what could've been me had I focused on cars instead of music early on and not at this point of my life. Felt weirdly nostalgic but had a blast watching this! Keep making these videos so I can live my project car dreams without the financial responsibility of that life! haha. thanks for the video.
youtube has been recommending me awesome smaller creators lately who are making content on a level that is so inspiring. and what a car! safari 944 is on my bucket list for sure. already have the purpose built video queued up

Enjoyed you road trip, reminds me of my late Uncle who lived in Auckland. He loved cars and would often do a road trip down to the South Island and would call in to see us.
