- A couple of years ago, I made a video listing off 7 features I wanted to get on the Nintendo Switch. Now that the switch is almost 5 years old, did Nintendo implement those features?

To be fair, what's giving them a better message? Complaining on the internet or not buying their products? Haven't paid for Switch Online in two years. Don't plan on it again
I've started to actually prefer not having any music on the menu, but the eShop needs music
I prefer having quiet music like PS4 and GCN menu
(With an option to disable it for other people)
I do really agree with the achievements thing, Nintendo could do achievements for their maybe most 25 most popular games to make the player want to buy those games to get the achievements.
No I hate achievements or trophies. They make you play a game for dozens of more hours than you want to and some get lost forever due to server shutdowns

Well their online has been terrible since the wii launched a decade ago, despite being one of the richest global companies, so I doubt they'll improve it till they start financially hurting. And it's a bad sign they're discontinuing games faster then microsoft out-modes their operating systems.
My controversial opinion though is going to be at smart tvs, they're inferior because of adds.
About discontinuing games, It doesn't matter, The hacking community already haves a custom Wii/DS server (wiimmfi) with one coming for Wii U and 3ds (Pretendo network)

Wow, I always watch videos on my Nintendo switch and with headphones to watch it on the big screen and be silent to anyone not watching,has anyone tried putting the headphones on the switch and have the switch on the plastic thing that makes it playable at the T.V, because you can see videos on the big screen while having only you hearing it because of the headphones, that's why the Switch is the best way to watch videos.

the 3ds eshop theme in like 2015 was an absolute banger, i really enjoyed that song
it was also for Wii U
I still have one and enjoy that theme a lot (even though the eshop is dead now) :)
IMO peer-to-peer can be done right, so it's not tied so tightly to the slowest player. It's their implementation that's really the problem, not the peer-to-peer concept itself.

I wish Nintendo would release the GameCube games for the switch like Paper Mario the Thousand-Year Door for example because I don't want to have to pay over $100 for a GameCube game if they can just release it on the switch or on the shop

I think Nintendo should do is add in live stream on Twitch I mean there is Twitch on the switch but you can only watch
I mean if I could live stream Nintendo games on my Twitch I would be really happy and just for that I would get updated version of the switch online and livestream 64 games like Majora's mask for a long time without stopping and I would play nes,snes, and switch games

@@LennyQUMFIF yes I live stream on my ps4 it can work both TH-cam and Twitch what I do now is I livestream and I record it then I upload them on my TH-cam with edits

I mean we can try to tell Nintendo to give us these, but the FANBOYS always get in our way. Not the regular fans, FANBOYS! There is a difference between the two! If they would just stay out of our way, perhaps we could finally convince Nintendo to give us these features for the switch.

The 1st app, Hulu, is owned by Disney, and the 3rd, Twitch is owned by amazon, I bet Disney+ is next, then Prime video and last Netflix
I want miis back! Mii games, mii channel, streetpass, miiverse, tomadachi life, new mii features, and more! We got miitopia in may which is a start, but it could be so much more! I miss the miis so much. 😞

How Nintendo will make the Switch "10 out of 10" as Nico said:
1. Make an ACTUAL Switch Pro (with all the things people wanted from it like better screen and processing power)
2. Make all the improvements talked about in this video and include them with all Switches (because I feel like I can see Nintendo deciding to reserve the better features behind the Switch Pro, or worse, behind NSO)
It already has a better screen so the argument about the screen is not valid (yea ik its scalped at like 450$)

Most of these were just nitpicks at best. The only ones that I agree with are the #3 and #4 ones, the rest either are too minor or aren't even needed for a video game console to begin with.

Nintendo Switch should have Netflix or Disney+ because its screen is bigger than a smartphone's one and also portable. It would be useful when you cannot use your TV or computer.
No it isn't, at least compared to some recent phones like the iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11 or iPhone 12 (especially the Pro Max) its smaller.
But yea it would be cool for When the phone dies, and it would be the ultimate Shrek, Mario Movie and sonic movie experience (it was already the ultimate shrek experience in GBA Video, imagine that on the switch…)
Hopefully you gain at least 5 more subs to add to the 2 or 3 you gained since back then.

And Mario odessey only has you collect 500 moons, to reach the final part of the game. And there are 880 in odyssey, so you don't have to collect the moons where you wait, unlike the dumpsterfire known as bowsers fury. Or should I say, "Speedrunners fury."

I actually really like having TH-cam on my Switch - sure smart TVs exist, but they aren't portable. Also Roku is about to lose TH-cam thanks to a dispute between Roku and Google. I also noticed that my 4K Roku stick stopped supporting even 1080p TH-cam some time ago, this is likely also due to the dispute because the dispute is about codecs and Roku possibly needing to include more expensive hardware to use the codecs Google wants them to use. So my Switch is actually a better at TH-cam than my theoretically 4K Roku 😒.
That said, I also have an nVidia Shield TV so if I really want 4K in TH-cam I can use that. Fun fact: It's got the same CPU/GPU as the Switch, if Nintendo had made a few hardware tweaks they *could* support 4K video with the same CPU/GPU. 4K games are still a pipe dream with the Tegra X1, though. It can theoretically output the pixels, but the quality would suffer greatly in every other respect.
The Switch is an excellent TH-cam device (especially the OLED model) thanks to having a screen larger than smart phones, its portability, being able to connect to a TV and continue watching a video, and on the OLED model having a good kickstand so you can just place it down on any surface and keep watching. The recent addition of Bluetooth headset / speaker support is also very nice.
TH-cam is my most played "game" on my Switch by far. There's also Hulu and a couple of other video apps - one of them dedicated to Pokemon, the other dedicated to anime if I remember correctly. Too bad they never got Netflix, though.
SMART TVs SUCK, THEY ARE SO DAMN SLOW, LITERALLY F**K SMART TVS TO HELL.
this is why i used my Apple TV 4K for Netflix even if i have a 4k TV, BECAUSE THE DAMN APP IS SO SLOW ON THE TV.
and even if it isn't slow on some, Years later it WILL BE SLOW
with consoles its not like that because extra processing power, hell even the Wii U had really fast speed on Netflix IN 2021

The only feature I ever want is Native External Hard Drive support. The price of Micro SD Cards are too expensive. One day I would love to play my Nintendo Switch games on a 2TB External Hard Drive.
All Nintendo needs to do is create a USB Type C passthrough adapter that accepts both a mains powered charger and a USB Type C Hard drive cable for handheld use or enable the Dock to power the External Hard Drive.

Wii U can use 2TB HDDs, but Because its USB 2.0 and not 3.0 (same for switch USB ports) its gonna need a Splitter or else it wont get enough power, and don't think about Flash drives, those die faster
