Dan, as I rewatched this I realized that I misunderstood one of your questions. You asked why Jacks or better didn't pay even money. It sort of does... but in "Hot Roll" you pay double (10 credits per line instead of 5 which would be normal) for the privilege of having a chance at the dice rolling and giving big multipliers. I answered as if you had asked why the 3 of a kind was 10 instead of 15. Hope you're doing well sir!
I think we were all thinking the same thing but also kind of hoping that, like when they added blackjack and Pokemon cards, it might pull in one or two hundred new subscribers who only found them because of video poker. I agree that it never feels as fun to watch, for sure.
