Losing doubles hurts Because we always have to assume the dealer has a 10 face down You won an 11 double vs a dealer 10 face up. I wouldn't double at all if the dealer doesn't show a face card. Chance of drawing a 10 is like 1 out of 4 or 5 not considering the shoe count, so doubling vs a dealer non bust is on the greedy side of risk. I know people will cry if u don't do it tho so I get it
