- This was filmed roughly ~2 weeks ago. Here is a one month update on my journey of living in my car homeless. I give you an update on how I’m doing amidst the outbreak of all the Los Angeles wildfires, as well as things I’ve done since being homeless. For now, you can use a Styrofoam cooler until you're able to invest in a high-quality one. These coolers are easy to find at gas stations or Walmart. To improve insulation, try double-layering: buy a larger Styrofoam cooler and nest a smaller one inside it. This added layer of insulation will help keep your food cold for a longer period.

Sometimes I feel like a hypocrite because I feed my dog dogfood with meat in it and sit in a leather recliner my granddaughter surprised delivered to me that cost $3,500. It reclines and she thought it would help with my varicose veins. But I wouldn’t eat red meat, chicken , pork. or fish if you had a gun to my head. Should probably just call myself Whole Food Plant Based. Anyway, blah blah blah.
One more thing I followed Minivan Lee for a long time. She is 70 years old and has been living in her van for 8 years. She has a book for sale on Amazon.

I make cucumber and carrot roll "sushi." :) If you have a rice cooker, it's fairly easy! :) Mix a little apple cider vinegar + a teaspoon of sugar and a dash of salt into some rice. I'll make a video. You've inspired me.
I think if you don't have a rice cooker (and it'd be hard to operate one in the car anyway), you can also use Minute Rice.
Just as an aside, I relate to your being in a difficult situation financially and physically because of your relatives. We were also on EBT cash assistance, despite my having a good paying job, due to financial abuse by my parents. And we are finally free of them ("We" meaning my husband and I and our three kids). And yes, we are poor by monetary standards, but we are so rich spiritually right now. I am no longer associating with people whose values are diametrically opposed to mine. It is more valuable to be free than to be rich.
Please just do videos where you talk. Just daily thoughts, 40 min rant type
