    The banggood 1603 drift truck has become very popular in the RC community. I purchased the brushless version a few months back. I also recently purchased the brushed model. These trucks are great little machines for the price.

    Very informative video. I wish I saw this before getting the brushless. I've been having a hard time controlling it, so now I drift on the second speed setting. The oil shocks made a world of difference too.
    I may get a second brushed version too :)

    • @outerzonerc777
      @outerzonerc777  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea get a brushed one and dont look back and use the brushless one with the street tires, it's really fun as a speed runner because it's so small. You will be so glad you got the brushed one and if you get the better Zee batteries the brushed one is even more controlled. Again brushed is no comparison in drift!!!

    • @quad_jake904
      @quad_jake904 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Outer zone RC I too went with the brushed version and after buying a second brushed (eachine eat15) , I decided to risk it and plugged in a 3s lipo. They actually take it just fine! I've ran them for around 10min at a time. Motor gets hoter with rubber tires vs drift. Also the eat15 brushed comes with a heatsink that very useful on 3s lipo.

    Very nice you helped me a lot, i will buy them. I have the Amewi LR16 brushed model and i hate the spring shocks i feel i have a toy rc. The Amewi never replied to me if they have oil shocks for this model and after i saw your video you covered me. That's why we need people like you to make videos and help others that don't know what to do. Now you know a way to make this chassis to steer a bit more ? It's difficult i think because is not so hobby grade, but i wanted to see, if it's possible to make it steer a bit tighter. Thanks again for your help.

    • @outerzonerc777

    do u recommend the brushless one for drifting? i saw in reviews that people say its glitchy at slower speeds. was the drifting in the end done with the brushless one?

    • @outerzonerc777
      @outerzonerc777  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Do not get the brushless one for drifting, it's terrible for drifting. Very glitchy. Go look on my page there is a brushless vs brushed video one a brushed motor upgrade that will answer your questions. If your looking for a controllable drift car go brushed. Then get zee 1500 mah 2s batteries if you want a little more power. Ultimately you want to build it like the one in the middle of the upgraded motor video I made. It's about as far as the brushless but excellent throttle control. The new motor is a dynamite 25t 380 size motor. But I would just start with stock brushed and enjoy then get a battery, after a while, you will need more power when you get better, that's when you get the dynamite 25t brushed motor. To make a brushless motor smooth for drifting you need a sensor motor and I have not had much luck finding a 380mm brushless sensored motor, unfortunately.

      @@outerzonerc777 thanks for the detailed response! i ended up going with the HBX 2188A to drift around the office with, its a bit smaller and way fast enough for indoors, i might pick up the SG 1603 later to just rip outside, it looks like a ton of fun for places like skateparks, but like u said i might end up going with a brushed version and upgrade it myself as a hobby project.
