  • The Good Samaritan may be the most influential parable that Jesus told. It's impact still resonates around the world with businesses, charities and institutions named after the story's protagonist. At the same time, the question that caused Jesus to tell the story - Who is my neighbor? - is often ignored. In this message from Gordon Dabbs, Ph.D., we are challenged to see the parable as more than a heart-warming tale, but as a tool to agitate and one that Jesus used to challenge us to see people the way he sees them.
    About the series. . .
We often come to Jesus for answers. There are times, however, when it’s helpful and healthy to turn the tables and listen to the questions Jesus wants to ask us.
Over and over in the Gospels, we encounter Jesus as the question-asker. Through his questions, he drew people like us toward self-reflection, repentance, and, toward his salvation. In Questions from Jesus, Gordon Dabbs, Ph.D., invites us to really listen to what Jesus asks us to consider.
