MacBook Pro A1708 noice cracking problem when open the screen fix.

Have been searching for this fix on TH-cam but haven't found one. just people having this problem and could not fix. I opened it up and saw that the plastic on the antenna is going against the case when I opened it. here is a video how to fix it. my MacBook don't crack anymore :)

I just replaced the screen on my A1708 and had this same issue. Was very annoying but grinding the plastic down solved the issue. Great video thanks!

Did this, it made the noise a lot softer but it is still present. If it was for a customer, I'd be more upset. But it's for a refurb I'm going to sell, and will just note it in the sale post.

Hi. You need to take off more of the plastic and wider area. I had also noticed left first time I assable it but took of more wider area then.
