What a great way to spend a bank holiday Sunday. Enjoying silage cutting day with The Border Counties Vintage Grassmen at Mountrush, Ardee, Co. Louth. A dry day was had too.
When we left Dublin we had lots of rain and as we proceeded northward up the M1 the rain clouds abated and we encounter a very nice day, maybe a little cold but it did not take anything from a very nice day.
For all those new to Ireland Virtual Tours, myself David started it in September 2019, showing Ireland to the World. I started life as a young farmer form Dublin spending holidays on the farm in the late 70's and early 80's. Learned so much about life and good people, it's a long story to where I am today. Maybe tell you more on other upcoming videos.
I hope you enjoy this video and I must thank Danny Martin for telling me about it and also thank Willie Martin for showing us his beautiful Ferguson 20 which we had a drive on, bringing back so many memories for me.

Fabulous to see the silage being cut and harvested and even though there's a usage of some vintage equipment the principal never changes, also the drone footage is excellent. A big cheer 🤗 for Virtual Tours.
