For me, I run AI on my laptop for fun (Mistral 7B, started running it a few days ago), and the back of the laptop lets me know when the CPU works at full throttle. In other words, locally run AI, whether that is in a game such as BeamNG, or a Large Language Model (LLM) will always make the CPU sweat.
So, melting laptops, tanking frame rates and lag are all signs that our computers are not fast enough or lack enough RAM.
