If you approach that muddy crossing at an angle instead of head on, you’ll have less problems with the rear of the trailer getting stuck. It won’t help or hurt your traction issues, but if you can keep moving without losing momentum, it should be considerably easier. Take it from a guy that drags a 53 foot trailer daily, and doing it for decades.

Crikey, I just love watching and listening to Dagger play this game. I am still chugging away at my FS19 No Man's Land playthrough that he inspired. It was a slow start, but I am about to harvest my first two fields.

@@Harrycrashy It is a bit more in depth to get started, so many gadgets and gizmos to get the hang of, it can be a little overwhelming. Once you get started up though, it is a calming experience and it is fun to see what you take a blank plot of land from and what you turn it into.
Hey dag, you can see the amount of slurry you have if you go to the entrance of the cow barn (Where the road is) and just look at the barn.
Yep, you can see it at 20:24 actually, it's at 10,735 then. Hope you see this Daggers. Great series btw I'm lovin it!
It is weird it's not in the menu too though.
You can also see it in the sale menu.

Hey Daggerwin If stacking the bales is to hard or time consuming in the Csz pack there’s some auto load bale grabs much easier then manual loads but not as easy as auto load trailers. Love the series cant wait for next episode :)

Hi Daggerwin, Perhaps some Bees. I was wondering if, rather than put trees in the small paddock that is used to enter the field you've taken the hay / silage from and are now planning on cultivating, you do something with Bees. There are a couple of Bee mods to consider if you want something more challenging than plain hives. This way, when the farm grows and is making money it will truly be all "milk and honey". Plus bee-keeping can be steady income stream and might be less frustrating than tree-felling and clearing.
Or could be a nice spot for a sheep pasture if it's large enough ?
Another great episode and making this good farm look great. I keep getting stuck on the wire fences but you just tear down the paths without a problem, lol.
it's not the tyres it's the fact you're pulling a massive tanker with small wheels with a tractor that has big wheels so it is creating drag.
i do hope one day you could use the pipes and hoses DLC becouse they're useful maybe with you do a COOP with chainsaw?

The decal on the front window is the logo to some norwegians called Traktor Gutta that makes real life tractor yt videos. The name means "the tractor boys". Idk if they make mods or if it's a fan of them that made it. Great tractor anyway :)
Isn't it possible to see the amount of slurry in the menu where you check the prices for the different products? I think it is :)
it is, but it doesnt keep track of some inventories

iv recently started my play through of this map on fs22. I have played it on fs19 as well but that time I stated on a different farm to the one you given at the start. I was thinking you should do a future pay through of this map or another map you have already payed but by starting in a completely different area as it really changed the game play feel for the map.
I’ve been following this play through step by step in my own game, I found a slurry spreader that is slightly smaller in size but has a much wider spread

Why not use the follow me mod in your single player series? Also keep in mind that 85% of grass is water which is why wrapped grass bales seems heavier, hay bales have lost 85% of their weight.

To find out what the slurry level is walk into their barn and it should say how much there is in the bottom corner of your screen
Dag, you might have more luck successfully lifting more than 2 silage bales if you used a heavier rear weight? Maybe a 2 ton? More?
Daggers..bout time you stuck a bridge in there me boy..that would get on my wick after the novelty had worn off....There are a selection of big tradders with huge floatations in at the end of MH menu
you need to remember all the weight you have on the frontloader even before you have bales on it, with that big grab

For everybody thinking keeping bales or other stuff on a trailer with straps on: Not a good idea if its even a bit of a leaning tower… if you start the game, it has not straps on the bales for a short moment and than straps them again, leading to the bales moving a bit over time until they eventually fall of…
I believe the slurry spreader design is the cause of getting stuck, even on the way back it's spreader plate was hitting the ground which is kinda where the tractor loses all its momentum instantly. Its sticking too far out, if you had a different spreading mechanism on the back that didnt protrude as far out of the back of the tank it might get across easier.
Or just cut across at a less steep section at an angle , maybe put some gravel & timbers down in the middle for a small bridge for more Traction., but yeah that backside is definitely dragging back there. I want to say there was some Nozzels in the sale ..unless that was for liquid (Non- Slurry) Fertilizer. + Not sure if his new tanker can even use it ?!?
@27:00 I do think that the rear of tanker-spreader is hitting the ground. Maybe take the crossing at a slight (30° ) angle to avoid bottoming out....
When you walked into the shed connected to the cow shed where you said you wanted to put bales, or anywhere remotely near the cow trigger, the dialogue for the pasture information comes up showing slurry levels.
bro use the tracks option to get rid of stucking in the mud
As the modder of mud system has said that tires wont help even the flotations and wide tyres. you must use tracks
@Daggerwin you can see the slurry capacity if you go in the shed you put the bales in just walk in
Hi daggerwin you have to go inside the cow shed by the water trough and the cow barn stats come up in the corner of the screen and it should say how much slurry you have
When picking up bales you should lower your back weight.
Get the vehicle control add on it gives your tractors a menu by pushing ctrl c and you can turn on diff locks and 4wd
So he gets a mod that makes him get stuck all the time and the solution is to get another mod that allows him to get unstuck...🤔

looks like the modders got the transmission gearing setup a little off keeping it stuck in 3rd like that

The modder who made that tractor kingmods is the one i always use and for me has always been great. They’ve got a lot of gameplay mods that are better than the most with a even better mud mod and exit the cab and more things like that for future series.

If u put that with the king mods dynamic ground it’s better than what fs24 will end up being
Yes you do want those wide tires going through mud, the more you can float on top the less resistance you're gonna have going through.
No idea if tires matter with the mod tho. I'm on console and we don't have those fancy mods :P.

For going across the river crossing I think going sideways kind of would help

Well, that trailer is able to carry about 60t of silage.... so it should be able to carry at least 4 New Hollands :D
Probably too late to this but should be able to see slurry storage in the sale price menu, it shows how much of each product you have in storage

At 20:25 on the bottom right side of the screen you can see the slurry info
When you enter the shed next to the cows but same building it shows you have 8000 lts of slurry
The only thing that makes a difference with that mud mod is tracks

The Mud Mod is PC only as it's a script.
If you look at the cow shed bottom left you can see the slurry

Would it not be cheaper to buy fertilizer and sell the slurry? 1000l of fertilizer goes a lot further than 1000l of slurry.
On easy yes. On medium or hard the value of slurry go down but the price of fertilizer stays the same.
If I'm not mistanken I think he's on medium on this series.

You need to upgrade the massey ferguson the slurry tank reqiuers 150Hp and the massey ferguson only has 130Hp
