    It's a shame that is also part of our hobby 👍

      Thank you Martin! You're right of course, I just wish it hadn't been this Plane ;-) See you in the Air!

    Oh dear, hope the plane can be fixed, but seeing your previous videos, nothing that u cant do, and thx for teaching us on how to mod planes. Appreciate it. 😊

      Thank you for your kind words Iqram! I try to learn from my mistakes so hopefully this one will never be repeated ;-) See you in the Air!

    I just got the v1 do you know what the difference is between the two? Sorry to see that happen but mine went in on the second flight but from numerous inherent faults. One thing I can say for you is at least you were enjoying yours, mine has been one thing after another but at least it still flies. One good note it can be repaired easily even after a nasty crash! Hope you got yours back together... Mine now flies better than it did new... Lol! Many mods later!

      The only difference I can see is the V2 has all Metal Gear Servos.
      www.toprchobby.com/prod_view.aspx?nid=3&typeid=95&id=282
      I had to retire mine.
      I could not locate a main wing any where for this plane, other than in the UK and the shipping would have been prohibitive.
      I'm glad you have your flying well now.
      These sport gliders are a lot of fun.

      @@GroundControlRC You can not repair the wing with CA and baking soda? That's whrpt makes these foam plane so awesome the ease of repair... Sorry to hear that. RedwingRC still sells this plane at 169.99 shipped. They also have a slightly smaller version with a edf called the swift edf 1200mm sport glider... Have a great weekend and thanks!

      @@mikesrcgarage Unfortunately, the main wing was a complete loss.
      Luckily, I still have my Conscendo EVO, Phoenix S, and Phoenix V2.
      That Swift looks very cool ;-)

    Dang! Did a similar pilot-error brain-fart with my new UMX Turbo Timber this morning. Flipped the wrong switch and bang nosed it in. I think a new prop adaptor (and a generous amount of foam-tac) will get her back in the air. That glider is so cool though! Thanks for sharing the good and the bad.

    • @GroundControlRC
      @GroundControlRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Steve! Yep, if I was going to crash one I wish it would have been a different one ;-) Luckily, it looks like all the electronics and even the plastic spinner and prop survived ;-) I'll be getting a new fuselage and main wing and have it back in the air. The other thing I'm going to order are large, orange, survey flags as my No Go Zone for the location of the Sun! I better never do that again ;-) See you in the Air!

    That was excruciating to watch for sure 🥵🥵😱 I'm feeling your pain right now!! But as they say crap happens even to the best so pick yourself up dust yourself off and carry on regardless!! But it does mean that it's a great flying glider if you're going to buy it so you can keep it in your hanger permanently, chin up as we Brits say and thanks for the great review,, all the best from Alan in the UK 😊😊👍👍👏👏❤

      Thank you much Alan! I was out flying this morning with the Z84 Wing and the Eachine E129 Micro Heli. I would have loved to have this one back in the air again this morning. It's definitely a keeper. I'll be pulling the trigger on it before the 30th of this Month before the discount goes away ;-) See you in the Air!

    What? No gruesome photos of the airframe remains? ;-)
    Sorry for the loss. It was a nice plane. We fly. We crash. That's model airplanes. One thing I learned from years of flying is that poop happens, so be ready to wipe. :-0
    At least you have a parts donator for another build now. With every crash I suffered a new plane was born using the same radio and engine parts. Hopefully the electric motor survived (props rarely do).
    Happy .......... building! Looking forward to see what you do with the stuff. Take care.

    • @GroundControlRC
      @GroundControlRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hehehe...I figured that heap of stuff embedded in the ground was enough ;-)
      It really devastated the Fuselage and broke the Main Wing but all the electronics appeared to have survived, less the LIPO. Even the Plastic Spinner and Prop were undamaged. How did that happen?
      So a lot can be used for other Planes or Projects ;-)
      I have something very cool coming for Father's Day this Year!
      A brand new, uncrashed, Volantex Phoenix V2 2m Wingspan Sport Glider ;-)
      Take a look at the price of that as PNF, extremely inexpensive for what you get.
      It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
      Please scream at me if you ever see me flying this one toward the Sun! Maybe I'll hear you and it will save the Plane ;-)

    Welcome to My world, Ive been running X-Pilot, NX-3 and FMS Gyro systems. Ive a ZOHD Kopilot with SAT to try yet, saved many a plane from Your situation or losing direction, Hahhaahaa, but it can't save Them from My Kook moves.

    Oh man.. I'm so sorry for your loss. :(
    On the upside, it's now time to build your CE! :)
    If you still want to replace it, have a look at the Max Thrust Aggressor. It is essentially this exact plane with brighter colour decals but also includes the wing extension piece to allow it be be flown in either 1.5m.... or.... 2.1m flavour if you want to slow it down and hunt thermals.
