I "just" finished Strawberry Fields Forever!!!!! Wooooo hoooo! I LOVE how it turned out! I did mine on 36 ct linen, I'd have to look the name up, sorry! 1 over 2, and I charted numbers myself to add 2023 and I used the designer's charted letters to add my initials. I was intent on finishing it for 2023 because it was started around November 20th, the day the Movers moved us! I intentionally started it about the first week of November when our manufactured home was delivered and I finally got to 'see' ll the finishes we chose on the inside! It's our perfect little rural cabin with all the required modern-day appliances! Our little piece of heaven! So between sorting, packing, charity runs, and moving things on my own, (my partner has Parkinsons so he can not do much at all, unfortunately) I'd work on it! Now she is done and I need to find a frame! I LOVE it!!!!! There are a lot of color changes throughout the entire stitch, so I ended up threading one needle with every color and after stitching whatever I ended with, I'd either stick it back in my DMC floss car or I'd rethread the needle with a new strand of floss making it easy to pick the color up again. It was a very enjoyable pattern watching it come alive! I was monogamous stitching it as I had a new house to set up, as well. A few more trips back to the old place for this or that, and she went with me everywhere even if I did not get to stitch her! Lol! I need to find a frame for her as she will commemorate the year we moved in here! I'm also thinking about stitching in "est" for established as a 1 over 1, but have not yet. She is folded over the pattern and sitting on my bookshelf now as I just finished her last night! You're really going to enjoy this one! I sure did! I love how you two will be doing 12 x 12! I'd love to do it, but yes, it takes a LOT of time to prepare in advance! I don't have all the linen I need to be able to do it, it's coming up now within a few days! I am also cooking a turkey that day, just for the two of us, no side dishes except gravy, we are Carnivores and only eat meat and eggs. I don't know how people do 12 x 12 and cook or if they have any company coming over...? Hmmm? I'll have to keep an eye open to hear how other stitchers do that! Although, maybe that is part of the fun of it! You tow have some beautiful WIPS, finishes, and more! You are also so down to earth, I just love your videos! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos for us!!!
You have a lot going on with the move and you are still getting stuff done! Great job! Thank you for spending time with us and all your kind words. Happy New Year!
It's SO nice you both are together for the holidays!! 🩷❤️💚🤍😃 I love your Christmas in Pink!! That sleigh is gorgeous!! I agree the border is a bit much! Thank you for linking the gingerbread houses! I bought that cuz it is adorable!! Awww...love the quilt and the afghan!! 🩷 SO special!! Happiest New Year!! ✨🥂
I love it when you two are together, it's so fun! It was great to review your 12x12 from last year. Looking forward to seeing what you start this year. Your afghan is gorgeous, Madison! I pove that you gifted each other blankets. Always wrapped in each other's love. It was fun seeing your planners too. Yiur December daily is amazing, Bonnie. I luve your creativity with it!
Thanks again for the awesome video. So glad that you guys take time to share with us. You guys are one of my favorites that I enjoy watching. You do a lot of the same patterns that I enjoy and I do everything on Aida fabric too so I think it’s kind of cool, Hope you guys had a merry Christmas and have a very happy healthy new year. Looking forward to lots of fun stitching this year. 🙂🎉☃
I really appreciate your explanation of planning and recording. I feel that I could cope with your suggestions. So many crafters seem to over complicate it 🤷🏼
Thanks for sharing your journals. I tried going all technical and bought the Notion app that is so popular. And I tried making my own spreadsheets. I think when it comes down to it I'm just a paper and pen kind of gal. It may not be as efficient but I'm more likely to keep up with it and will enjoy a book in hand more. Love y'all!!! Happy 2024!!
So good to see you both together! Love seeing what became of your 12x12 of last year. Great idea! Looking forward to seeing this year’s 12x12! Happy New Year! P.S. That was such a great picture of Gus!!❤
We love being able to film together! It was fun to look at our 12x12 progress to see how much we actually did! He's such a cute pup isn't he?!! Happy New Year!
I so enjoy you two. So glad to see Madison home with you. Can’t wait to see your 12 by 12. Looks like fun. I may have to join you, but it won’t be just cross stitch as I need to get sone quilting, knitting, and needle punch. Good luck with yours. 😮
Love sering you guys together. I love your planners and will see if I try one this year. Also love the December daily project!, not only is it beautiful, but also a great memory maker. Happy New Year, ladies!!
The two of you are so much fun to watch! Great progress on your 12x12! Also, I have been making project bags using your tutorial and I can't decide whether I'm more addicted to stitching or making the bags with some of my favorite fun fabrics! It feels good being able to use fabric, interfacing, zippers, etc. that I had on hand to create pretty bags to hold my stitching. Thanks again for your project bag tutorial! I'm also looking forward to seeing what you choose for your new 12x12. Happy New Year!
Omgoodness what a fun video. Such a cool way to update us on your 12x12 from 12/31/2022. You both did well with progress on them. Your gifts from Grandma and to each other were so very special. I crochet also and I love the afghan colors and pattern. Cozy! Glad you were able to be together for Christmas. Have a very Happy New Year🎉
Awe, thanks girls for taking the time to share during Madison’s visit! All your stitching is gorgeous and love the quilting portion as well. Happy New Year
I was happy to stumble upon your channel, can't watch too much flosstube....Loving all your starts. Could you please give me the information for Christmas in Pink? This is a must for me to stitch, an absolute must. HAPPY 2024
Glad you found our channel! Thank you for watching! Natale In Rosa (Christmas In Pink) by Cuore E Batticuore. I am stitching with the called for DMC colors on 14 ct gray Aida. I love the gray because the white really pops! Happy New Year!
Ladies this was so inspirational, there are patterns I haven’t seen before that are definitely on my list now. Happy New Year and thanks for taking the time to share your projects…..
So nice seeing you guys together again! Love the stitching. Nice to see a twelve by twelve review you guys did good. Looking forward to your wip parade and your new twelve by twelve projects. Happy stitching ladies.
Love when we get to visit with the two of you together. So enjoy your channel. Beautiful blankets. I would love to know the pattern Madison’s used for her crocheted blanket. It was gorgeous. Happy 2024 to you both.
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it! I made up the pattern for my crocheted blanket. But I just used single crochet for the entire blanket. I used Bernet Blanket yarn in colors clay brick, vintage white, and pale grey. I made up my own pattern to make a lap size. I did 20 rows of clay brick, 20 rows of vintage white, 40 rows of pale gray, 20 rows of vintage white and 20 rows of clay brick. Then I used the vintage white for the scalloped borderI used white for the scallop border, which I used Lori Holt's video tutorial to teach myself. Happy New Year!
This is my first time to see your flosstube and won't be the last. I enjoyed the two of you together and liked hearing how you plan. I found it inspiring. Best wishes in the new year.
Happy New Year ladies - so so enjoy your videos looking forward to 2024 and I will be using your organization tips this year. I only have 6 wips but plan to add more and track my progress thanks for the inspiration!
Great video ladies, can't wait to see what you two have picked out for 12x12. I decided to try this this year but have only chosen 3 WIPS that I want to move along, my goal is to finish at least 1 of them . Wishing you a Happy New Year and Happy Stitching!
Thanks again! I purchased Gingerbread Village during your last episode. It came up easily by googling it with your info. Thank you❤Love it. Wish you could of seen my sister face when I showed her the pattern. Gingerbread houses bring such joy! I also got Mary 395. Woohoo. Thanks to you two. I bet I’d be shocked at how many patterns I have gotten due to you. Large projects too that I’ll be stitching for awhile. Lol. Hope to start these 2 to stitch with you in 2024. 🎉 Happy New Year🎉
You two are amazing! I love all your projects too! I have a comment Bonnie on your Nottingham by Kathy Barrick. On your side border the bottom letter should be an N not an M. I just didn’t want you to make an error on your border. Maddison, I finished my Live On Little and have it framed and hanging in my living room. The colours are beautiful and I have had many comments on it.
Holy moly!!! Thanks for the heads up!!! THANK YOU for letting me know now I can fix it before I get to the bottom! I would have been so bummed. Congrats on finishing your Live On Little, it is a lot of work but I am sure it is beautiful!
So much fun to see you both in the same room. Love that idea of daily December. Can wait to see your 12 /12 this year. Thank you for all your hard work.
Fun to see you together in person! I’ve been wearing my Madison designed Christmas stitch shirts through the season. You gals are so brave to tackle 12x12 again, watching that video wears me out, don’t know how you manage all the prep and all the stitching!
Loved seeing all of your progress. Loved the quilts you made for your kids, Bonnie. So fun to have Madison home for Christmas. I love the crocheted blanket Madison made - could you tell me the yarn (chenille?) you used and pattern? Thanks for the time you spend on flosstube.
Glad you enjoyed our update! I used Bernet Blanket yarn in colors clay brick, vintage white, and pale grey. I made up my own pattern to make a lap size. Loved seeing all your projects! Excited to see what you picked for 2024 12x12! I do December Daily albums, too! A Flosstube extra with a full walk through of your completed album would be so fun to see!
Thank you! Dec Daily is so fun, I love it! I still have about five stories to finish up, great idea for a flip through. Good luck with getting yours completed!
Happy Holidays!, love seeing your projects, ideas, plans for the New Year. Bonnie what was the color of the red sulky you are using for your Alphabet Sampler? Madison your crochet Afghan for your mom was beautiful. I look forward to your next floss tube together.

Love seeing you both. Thank you for sharing all of your plans and progress! On the Prairie Schooler January finish, which I love, what fabric did you use? I am hoping to start that one this year. Beautiful finish on that. Happy New Year!
Was wondering if you have any tutorials on making cross stitch pillows and all fabric project bags. Madison I’am also in Maryland was wondering where there is a cross stitch. I don’t have one anywhere near me.
We are hoping to make a tutorial for finishing cross stitch into pillows! I have been to Needlecraft Corner in Baltimore, and there is also The Stitching Post in Catonsville, but I've not been there yet.
Love your videos. I’m an Aida stitcher. Usually 14ct but I’m currently stitching on 18ct with two strands. Oh boy I don’t like it. What do you use on 18ct and on 16ct? Thanks
Thank you! We both always do two strands on 14ct and 16ct. But for 18ct it depends on how much fill in there is and how tight your Aida feels. We both will usually test with one strand and two stands in the corner of our 18ct Aida to see what we like better! It just depends on the specific Aida you use! Hopefully that helps!

You all get so much done. Do you stitch the sewing or poke method? Love your channel!
Thank you! Madison stitches in hand, and Bonnie uses a hoop with the poke and stab method! We each do what works best for us!
This was great!!! How do you stitch your 16 and 18 count 2over2?? thank you
Thank you! We both stitch 1 over 1 on 14, 16 and 18 count.
