Just showed this to my 88-year-old Grandmother, it made her so happy! She recognized the priest (He did her and my grandfather's wedding) and said the Singer sang at their wedding too!
Seeing father frank and father varriale brings back great memories of the feast of 1957 Iwas 8 years old and lived right onthe street that they danced the giglio 12 havemeyer st.
Born and raised Italian in Greenpoint---I like to call it---though it was officially Williamsburg----on Conselyea St. -----I remember these years as a small child --------we were so poor ----that the stands gave out free Zeppoli's ---and sausage hero's -----and Ice cream, as a desert staple .Glorious times----!

It has always been out of control and loud. Civilization on its cringe.
The same people who think immigration is out of control now are the same people who sh$t their pants when they saw the Italians back in the 50's
Wow...it never changes..huh....but at least it's nice to see a video from the past tho...
