"Tekken 8": Arcade Mode & Boss Battles Revealed!

In this video I show footage of how to fight all 4 boss characters available in this mode and what the requirements are .
To fight regular Devil Kaz, defeat all of your opponents without getting any perfects all 7 fights.
The requirements for Azazel is to land at least one perfect ko and don't lose any rounds from there on out.
To fight True Devil Kazuya, land 2 perfect kos and don't lose any rounds before you reach him.
Last on the list is Angel Jin, in order to fight him you have to land at least 3 perfect kos(getting any more perfects won't change the outcome.
Angel Jin is the hardest and by far the cheapest boss out of the four, you will see in this video. Luckily once you reach him it doesn't matter if you lose(same for the others) you get the chance to rematch him and beat him.
I basically just used a strategy that would land me perfects and help me beat the cpu, fighting the cpu like you would approach an actual human player is pretty much no bueno(you can but it's not advised) they're bots and have unrealistic execution/reactions that humans can't perform, you have to exploit them for the best results.
I originally was going to show the full run for all 4 bosses but that would've made this video potentially be 1 hour and 30mins+, so I decided to just make edits after the 1st run to show the requirements for the other 3(Oh yea you can get the perfects at anytime during the run, it doesn't need to be towards the end or in a row, I just did it for the sake of this video to show proof on all the requirements to fight these boss) just make sure you don't lose any rounds.
I forgot to mention that if you don't get the perfect, you can just go back to char select to reset, it'll keep whatever stage you're currently at and will give you extra tries(Proof of this is in the video).
I made this video for completionist so they can get all trophies and for those that just want to fight the 3 special boss in this mode and learn the requirements for them. Enjoy!

Finally Tekken has a proper Arcade Mode back and with 3 secret bosses?! Hell yeah!!! That's what we've been wanting forever!
Yeah only downside is you cant change the number of rounds you want like in previous games. Tho you can change the diffculty and timer which is weird
I'm glad they added these bosses in the arcade mode. The secret bosses in Tekken 7 was one of my favorite additions but I found it annoying that they would randomly appear in treasure battle, instead of the arcade mode, which was really short in that game. Arcade mode Kazumi and Akuma didn't feel like bosses at all.
Asura Jin, Devil Kazuya X, Ascended Heihachi, Shin Akuma... Such cool bosses really.
Now this the arcade mode that I really want.
Long stage matches with some secret boss on it.
It's like one of those classic figthing game in arcade mode.
Anyway, That Game Over screen look freaking awesome that show each final boss.

I’ve recently faced Devil Kazuya, and my older nephew faced Angel Jin because he was filling in for me. Because now I have to face two to three more secret boss.
Now this is how to do final bosses in fighting games. Street fighter has been really lacking with that lately

On Easy I defeated Angel Jin with Vincent by abusing the forward katana slash with Special Controls.
Not sure, I'll be sure to test that tomorrow.
But yea, like 8-Frames said try to find you a move or string to abuse against Angel Jin.

I already watched Angel Jin moveset showcase and its really very hard because
1)AJ heavensweep become instant launcher even you crouch block or parry still on hit
2)Heaven door also become instant launcher when he crouch dash will make him disappear and still on hit with frame
3)AJ grabs called obliterartion (➡️+⬅️↙️⬇️↘️➡️+1&2) become easy input
4)His hellfire cannon hit range become bigger and no cooldown like DJ does so he can fires rapidly
5)Also he has a move can create big light sword on his own and a light shield similar to Jin omen stance can knockback too

I used Kazuya and got Angel Jin, the I used Jin and got azazel and then I used Devil Jin and got true devil kazuya I tought I had to use a specific character to unlock the secret bosses I guess it was just coincidence haha
Nope, you have to get a certain amount of Perfect K.Os in order to face any of them:
- none for Devil Kazuya
- 1 for Azazel
- 2 for True Devil Kazuya
- 3 or more for Angel Jin
I prefer Hybrid Jin with angel and devil wing on both sides

Next Jin with 3 fighting styles
That's basically Devil Jin still, but yeah, he would've been nice as one of the sub-bosses.

Some characters feel just more special if they are only accessible in certain conditions. In this case, have Angel Jin playable in Story Mode only
But if he gets to be playable, it should be in TTT3, if they ever wish to make it. And probably Azazel too

They didn't make the boss characters playable in 7 doubt they'll do it for 8. The only chance you'll have of that is if you use the PC version and find mods that allow you to play as those bosses
they should have added Sub-Bosses and Rivals like Tekken 2 or 5. you fight your rival just before sub-boss and final boss. sub-boss could be Normal Kazuya before the Final fight with Devil Kazuya
True they didnt bought back those special cutscene like in tekken 5 and tag 2 but instead theyd just put you instantly into battle😢😢

Those bosses may look simple,but it's not. Total in the game has 4 bosses. But there is still more bosses out there in the next Tekken.

- Devil Kasumi
- Jun Kazama(aka Unknown)
- Heihachi
-Devil Reina ( Not confirm until next Tekken )
Unknown is not canon in the mainline series.
Don't forget Ogre and true ogre
If We Ever get Tag 3, They should have Tag Final Bosses instead Jun Kazama Covered in Mud.

This is not canonic. Its just the arcade mode. You use him in story Mode.

If Devil Kazuya is the Default Final Boss, it should be Kazuya in Round 1, & a Cutscene is playing Kaz turning his Devil form.
Meeting Angel Jin in battle, will be easier said than done.

'02's Update gave us 4 Bosses if you Defeat your Last Opponent with a Finisher.

I thought you needed to do 3 Perfects on Hard Mode to get Angel Jin?
Im 70 tries in and in just cant defeat panda on hard. My very first opponent. And i just cant perfect him. Its Like he reads every single input
Now I'm not a Tekken genius, so maybe AI is a bit different here, but i usually just play against the AI for fun in a basic match, and i can fight the Ultra Hard AI no problem. They win rounds on me, but any lower in the difficulty and it's not fun for me
Arcade AI and normal fight AI seem to be two completely different things. The AI in Arcade seems to be able to go to one extra hidden difficulty.
I swear to God. Maybe the AI for a basic fight is just not aggressive enough? They tend to let you get up a lot
If we get True Devil Kazuya & Angel Jin as permanent playable characters then its really ggs that Tekken 8 will last far more than Tekken 7

@@shinzankuro There shouldn’t be especially since it’s extremely easy to do, players will probably mod them in the game at some time. It’s just that they never do this for some reason even though people ask for it all the time, I remember everyone wanted to play as Jinpachi in T5 and it took them ages to do it in DR while the PS2 version got nothing

do you have to beat the story mode first or something? ive ran through the arcade 3 times now, on medium hard and easy, in that order. easy and medium not losing a single match and having 3+ perfects, and still only get regular devil kazuya at the end. is it because it wasnt on hard? i lost a few rounds on hard but got to the end and still nothing. im also using hwoarang, if that matters.

the bosses should be unlockable characters, Devil Kazuya is Kazuya with lasers
They could have at least let you use the boss characters as unlocks for offline
Azazel's effects on T6 was a lot better and more engaging
I still hate Azazel for being cheap in Tekken 6. Even though I still hate him, I admit that he seems less of a pain in Tekken 8.
@@jinthekingkazama1159 dunno about you, but you just gotta know his attack patterns on T6, and he's pretty much easy to beat, unless he throws grabs, do side steps and spacing and it's easy to do a perfect on him

True devil kazuya really pissed me off. Once I figured out angle Jins spam to heal. I kept doing that move over and over😂
I play normal I beat Perfect and got one star, but I always encountered the same boss, Kazu😢

Guys this is fake and edited!!! I did Perfect 10 times in arcade mode and only Devil Kazuya appears as the boss opponent. Did it on level Hard with 10 perfect rounds
