Dude, read VNs too, they're so worth it. I am a huge Studio Key fan, Clannad is my all time favourite anime, but the Visual Novels! They're masterpieces too, they give you so much more context, it makes you appreciate the characters even more (I gained a lot of love and respect for Sunohara, for example)

Kanon and little busters are both nice, though I must say Kanon is a 7/10 for me and little busters is a 10/10, if you're going to watch Kanon definitively watch the 2006, 2002 is just bad haha. Id say go watch Little busters first and if u love it like I do, give Kanon (and maybe Charlotte, Air and Rewrite) a shot just so you can say you watched all of Jun's anime and that nothing can no longer make you cry 😂😂, Aigh I hope I cleared your doubts.
